Christine Blasey Ford Is ‘100%’ Certain Assailant Was Kavanaugh
In one poignant exchange, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut, reached for a quote from a colleague across the dais, Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina. Rather than reach, as other Democrats had done, for Mr. Graham’s statements dismissing the accusations against Judge Kavanaugh, Mr. Blumenthal began reading from a passage from the senator’s 2015 book, “My Story.”
“I learned how much unexpected courage from a deep and hidden place it takes for a rape victim or sexually abused child to testify against their assailant,” Mr. Graham wrote of his time as a prosecutor. “I learned how much courage from a deep and hidden place it takes for a rape victim or sexually abused child to testify against their assailant.”
Mr. Blumenthal added, “If we agree on nothing else today, I hope on a bipartisan basis we can agree on how much courage it has taken for you to come forward.”

I'm still trying to figure out why we just can't have the FBI investigate.
If the Repub's hired questioner's strategy was to expose inconsistencies in Ford's account it was a complete failure.
Kavanaugh is in a bind and so are the Repub's
It would be extremely sexist to do so, but I can't help thinking how funny it would be to compare Kavanaugh's hysteria -- I use that term deliberately -- to Dr. Ford's intelligence, composure, and credibility. I don't think it is unfair to judge him by the same standards they judge his victims.

Because the Republicans know perfectly well what such an investigation would find?
We could have the FBI investigate the specific allegations Dave. And we should. It won't happen because the truth is much less important than the agenda is with Republicans and tRump.
If Kavanaugh is innocent of the allegations and has NOTHING to fear HE should ask the president to request the FBI to investigate. It would make his claim of innocence more credible. Of course this will not play out. We wonder why?
I watched the testimony and I believed Ford and disbelieved Kavanaugh. I have heard people say Brett was putting on a performance for an audience of one. Apparently tRump wanted to see energy and passion from Brett (deny, deny, deny). He was watching and was pleased with Brett's performance. The republicans do not care if Brett is guilty.
As per Minus FJ, "most sane people think that high school and college are times for sexual experimentation and working out of male-female (& other) sexual relations". Brett "experimented" to see if he could get sex by raping drunk girls (re Julie Swetnick). Although he was apparently too drunk to see that Christine Ford was not that inebriated.
Dervish, Minus FJ is part of the pro-Trump WYD crowd, and those men are known for their misogyny and hatred of women. I've read Minus FJ's characterization of the victims. He calls them "lying whores." I don't give a flying donut what that misogynistic swine thinks. His opinions are worthless, just like the self-admitted sexual assaulter he and his fellow WYD creeps worship. They are bottom feeders and dead enders.
-FJ is nothing more than a woman-hating drunken prick supporter. His best work is seen on a blog that specializes in fecal matter, which he happily smears all over himself daily.
