Russia State TV Calls Trump Their "Agent"

I'm old enough to remember when the Republican Party disliked everything Russian, did not trust them, and rightly acknowledged them as deceptive, untrustworthy, scheming, murderous, and anti-democratic.

Not anymore!

Trump is Russia's BFF, and they're laughing at him because they've got America right where they want her with the chump in the Oval Office willing to trade away America's standing in the world for Russian oligarch money for his Trump businesses.

A partnership made in Hell.

Russia’s State TV Calls Trump Their ‘Agent’

Sometimes a picture doesn’t have to be worth a thousand words. Just a few will do. As Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov returned home from his visit with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office last week, Russian state media was gloating over the spectacle. TV channel Rossiya 1 aired a segment entitled “Puppet Master and ‘Agent’—How to Understand Lavrov’s Meeting With Trump.”

Vesti Nedeli, a Sunday news show on the same network, pointed out that it was Trump, personally, who asked Lavrov to pose standing near as Trump sat at his desk. It’s almost the literal image of a power behind the throne.

Putin has expressed undisguised delight with the crusade led by Trump and Giuliani to whitewash Moscow’s interference in the U.S. elections.

Trump and his MAGAts:

Making Russia Great Again!

AMEN!

BlueBull Did you ever think you'd see Republicans favoring Russia over America? That's what President Toilets and Light Bulbs has done to the GOP. In fact, it is no longer the Republican Party/GOP, it is the Trumpublican Party, and it will be remembered as such to its everlasting shame.

Shaw, I hope your resident Trump ass-kissers reads this and maybe his limited brain will begin to understand why the Rethuglicans are so hated by over half the country:

"Mitch McConnell Brags About Blocking Obama For 2 Years, Then Laughs About It"

Hi Lisa,

Sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. I know what that feels like. I lost Mr. Shaw Kenaw 2 years ago. It takes time to get used to, you'll always think of him, but the pain from the loss eventually will be replaced by the loving memories you shared with him. I know this.

I hope you're taking care of yourself and giving yourself time to recover. Mr. Shaw Kenawe suffered a long, debilitating illness, and I remember a combination of exhaustion and relief to know he was no longer suffering.

A loss as great as yours is especially difficult at this time of year. I hope you have family and many friends to comfort you and help you through this first holiday season without him. My family and friends were there for me, and they were a great comfort.

Again, take care of yourself. I wish you comfort and peace.

Shaw

Did anyone ever imagine that after influencing and trying to rig our 2016 elections, any president would welcome our enemies into the Oval Office without so much as an admission of wrong doing?

It's breathtaking.

Rev, It does appear you do not put any faith in the Mueller report that he didn't use russia to influence the election. After a solid three years of investigating you don't believe a report that was a waste of time.
Vote impeachment and lets move on.

How did russia interfere with the elections. The democrats anointed a horrible candidate, rigged the nomination by pushing sanders aside and then allowing said horrible candidate to run a weak campaign because she was a shoe in. How did Russia influence the elections given those FACTS.

On another matter, what is MSDNC going to do once trump is out of office since they are anti trump 24/7. I have never seen a tv station so focused on destroying a politician.

Does anyone think skud will read this and comment on it?:

US lost more tax revenue than any other developed country in 2018 due to Trump tax cuts, new report says

U.S. tax revenue as a proportion of GDP drops the most of any country in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in 2018, according to a new report.

Thanks to Trump’s tax cuts, the U.S. tax-to-GDP ratio falls 2.5% from 2017 to 2018, the OECD finds.

The 2017 tax cuts dramatically alter the U.S. tax landscape for the first time in decades, though the promised surge in economic growth and investment does not result.

Nah! He'll blame it on "the swell guy." Or Hillary.

And your point is what Fed up?
I'm guessing you refused your personal tax reduction..correct?

The point is, Anonymouse, that Trump has exploded the deficit and us workers are paying through our asses for Trump's tax breaks for the 1%. That's the point.

If you think Trumps gives a shit for the workers I have a wall Mexico is going to pay for to sell to you!

And he lost the trade war with China:

"...Trump wanted to slash the U.S. trade deficit. Economists more or less unanimously consider this the wrong objective, but in Trump’s mind countries win when they sell more than they buy, and nobody is going to convince him otherwise.

So it’s remarkable to note that the trade deficit has risen, not fallen, on Trump’s watch, from $544 billion in 2016 to $691 billion in the 12 months ending in October.

{skip}

There will, however, be longer-term costs to the trade war. For one thing, the business uncertainty created by Trump’s capriciousness won’t go away; he is, after all, a master of the art of the broken deal.

Beyond that, Trump’s trade antics have damaged America’s reputation.

On one side, our allies have learned not to trust us. We have, after all, become the kind of country that suddenly slaps tariffs on Canada — Canada! — on obviously spurious claims that we’re protecting national security.

On the other side, our rivals have learned not to fear us. Like the North Koreans, who flattered Trump but kept on building nukes, the Chinese have taken Trump’s measure. They now know that he talks loudly but carries a small stick, and backs down when confronted in ways that might hurt him politically.

These things matter. Having a leader who is neither trusted by our erstwhile friends nor feared by our foreign rivals reduces our global influence in ways we’re just starting to see. Trump’s trade war didn’t achieve any of its goals, but it did succeed in making America weak again.

You seem to be some sort of taxation expert Fed Up how are you "paying through our asses?"
You forgot to answer the question. Did you refuse your personal tax reduction?

The vast majority of Americans get some tax cut, at least at first. Just one in 20 families face a higher tax burden this year because of the law.

The benefits of the tax law are spread pretty evenly in the next few years. But, measured as a percentage of their tax bills, the group getting the largest cut is clear: Families earning from $200,000 to $1 million will see their tax bills drop about 9 percent next year according to Congress’s official scorekeeper, the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation. That’s 1 percentage point more than the tax cut for households earning $75,000 to $100,000.

And, the cuts for middle-class wage earners fade over time. By 2026, changes to individual tax rules expire, while corporate changes are permanent.

Unless Congress acts, 53 percent of all taxpayers will see a modest tax hike by 2027, the Tax Policy Center says, including almost 70 percent of middle-income families.

Interesting as Rick Gates is sentenced the silence of Trumpistas is deafening.

The people who for years called Dems crime bosses and said anyone with criminals around them must also be a law breakers are strangely silent as people all around Trump are hauled off to jail.

What ever happen to all the folks who claimed you could tell someones character by the company they keep?

All the leaders of his political campaign are pleading guilty and going to jail. Are we to believe they all acted without candidate Trump knowing?

Were all those conservatives just wrong before when they would claim anyone with criminal friends was himself a thug?

What a bunch of crazy losers...

Skud... everyone of any import, save Pres Trump knows and believes Russia worked to influence our elections. Let's say Trump was 100% NOT Involved. I'm willing to entertain the possibility that he knew nothing of what everyone else in his campaign was doing. But now that he's been told and shown the evidence, why reward Russia with an Oval visit?

skudrunner said...

Fed Up, I understand your position on tax revenue going down. Politicians have three things they are interested in, spend your money, get more of it with tax increases and keep their jobs. Lowering taxes without corresponding spending cuts is irresponsible and it it an escalating problem. NO president will do what it takes to balance the budget because it would be devastating to people and would not be supported by their party. I don't think the cuts went far enough with corporations. Ever hear of the FAIR TAX. That would be FAIR to everyone.

Rev, You seem to not want to answer, How did Russia influence the election other than bring busloads of russians over to vote illegally. That could happen because it is what the democrats want with illegals but I don't see russia bringing that many people over.
Your other statement an you are judged by the company you keep is true unless your friends are a domestic terrorist and a racist who hates whites then it is OK.
