Impeach and Convict Trump

#trumpterrorists

This is the Tweet Donald Trump sent out just before his insurrectionist/terrorist thugs attacked the Capitol building, went looking to hang/murder Mike Pence, and mercilessly beat and killed a Capitol policeman:

And this is one disgusting example of how Trump cultists and anti-American, anti-democracy GOPers reacted:

ACUCHUCK says:

I’m pretty sure that TINY BIT OF ROWDINESS, at the capital, is nothing, compared to the bloody noses, that will come of this, if the Left continues it’s way’s.

I for one am so angry, that I have to force myself to turn off TV and try and think of something pleasant. But of course that don’t work.

I find my self dreaming how I can mow down those Antifa bums with my Hummer. Problem is no matter how I look at it I still get caught and prosecuted, because, I’m a Trump Supporter.

I find shaking my head in disbelief, because, of what has happened to this country, AND ALL BECAUSE 1 MAN STOOD UP TO THE ELITES.

A majority in the GOP still supports Trump and is against holding him accountable for the insurrection against the United States of America. The only conclusion one can come to is that the current GOP is a rogue party that supported the overthrow of America's government by trying to undo a fair and legal election by the proto-fascist thug, Donald J. Trump, who sought to stay in power by illegal means.

I can hardly believe I typed that. But it is correct.

Seems very clear. Trump incited an attack on the Capitol. A CAPITOL POLICE OFFICER WAS MURDERED beaten to death by the insurrections. Trump's Senate impeachment trial is in a few weeks. Are SENATE REPUBLICANS okay with the attack on the Capitol and the murder?

1923, Adolf Hitler led a failed coup. He was treated leniently. Germany moved on.

A decade later, he was a dictator, and the worst disaster in the history of the civilized world ensued.

In 2021, when the president of the United States leads a failed coup, we must impeach and convict.

Democrats should put footage of the rally and the storming of the Capitol in a giant screen during the impeachment trial. Don’t let them pretend this was just a cute little free speech "tiny bit of rowdiness" moment. Keep the focus on how truly awful and terrifying it really was. Keep it front & center. And call the people involved TRUMP TERRORISTS! That is correct and that is who they are.

So are the rioters in portland and other cities obiden terrorists. Get real and deal with the fact that he will not be convicted by the senate and move on with your life. Antia is just an idea and the trump terrorists are just a imaginary force. The four year assault needs to end because obiden has called for unity.

Has joey shared his PLAN with you because it looks like his plan is the great American give-a-way.

Republicans have made it clear that there's no chance of Trumpeachment 2 resulting in a conviction. Zero.

They are what they are. Best to waste as little time on this "trial" as possible and let Congress get back to work. Regular courts will be able to put Trump behind bars for many years for financial crimes and possible for sedition. The Republicans will not allow Congress to hold him accountable.

Joe Biden’s approval rating is already higher than Trump’s at any point in his term.

He's at 64% approval.

Skud, the rioters in those cities are not trying to overthrow the U.S. government and they did not, at the urging of a sitting president, threaten the life of the sitting vice president and Speaker of the House. A policeman, to the best of my knowledge, was not beaten and murdered. Just to name a few differences.

Trump's terrorists rioted to OVERTHROW the US Government and undo a fair and legal election to keep the seditionist Trump in power.

Joe Biden did NOT encourage those folks in Portland.

That you don't understand these basic facts shows us that you've learned nothing from the Trump terrorists' attempt to commit murder and overthrow the U.S. government.

There's no "bothsiderism" in this. Not. At. All.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Infidel753 Republicans used to be advocates for the rule of law. No longer.

They now advocate for the overthrow of the U.S. government and support a seditionist ex-president.

We look to the SDNY for justice. We ain't gonna get any from the anti-democracy GOPers.

Ray, Joe Biden's DOGS are more popular than Trump ever was.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Anonymous, I agree. But that won't change the spineless, pro-seditionist GOPers in the Senate.

History will record their cowardice.

Trump already has already earned "Worst President in American history."

Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del) "The only thing that I need to know is that, in the midst of an assault on our Capitol, where thousands of armed and angry rioting supporters of President Trump were beating Capitol Police officers in one case bludgeoning a Capitol Police officer to death, and breaking into the Capitol, and threatening the Congress, and trying to stop the certification of an electoral vote, at that moment, President Trump was gleeful and declined requests to dispatch the National Guard, and took no action to restrain his supporters, and made no effort to check on the safety of his own vice president or the leaders of Congress," Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Tuesday.
“That alone to me is evidence enough to convict on the charge that was presented to the Senate yesterday,"

"To me, there has to be accountability, and (impeachment) is the accountability tool the Constitution gives us," Coons said.

Not according to the present GOP. Everything Trump did to NOT stop the assault on our American democracy is just fine with them.

Hopefully the SOB will be dead in a year or two. Eaten up by his own hatred for decency, truth, facts, democracy, and the American Republic.

This nation is in GRAVE peril. Forces of immeasurable hatred for our system of governance (democratic self rule) have been unleashed by a goddamn sociopath and his enablers in government (the GOP), his cultists (both religious and secular), and the rightwing pro conspiracy media.

This is NOT going to change. It is NOT going to go away. It is NOT going to relent. We ARE staring down the barrel of potential great social unrest and violence. ALL THE RESULT OF A RACIST, NARCISSISTIC DEMAGOGUE and A POWER HUNGRY AUTHORITARIAN POLITICAL PARTY, the GD GOP.

America has been severely damaged by a lying pathetic POS ad IMO it will take a generation or two t MAYBE turn things around. And, keep in mind it may NEVER happden. These people have been programed and they are crazy to their core.

I don't see the US surviving another decade in its current form. The sickness is so deep on the right that I don't see how you stop it. Republicans are already working to dismantle whatever's left of democracy at the state level.

Unprecedented: DHS issues terror threat advisory about our own people - National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin - January 27, 2021 | Homeland Security ⁦
@DHSgov

Summary
The Acting Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin due to a heightened threat environment across the United States, which DHS believes will persist in the weeks following the successful Presidential Inauguration. Information suggests that some ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence.

Throughout 2020, Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs) targeted individuals with opposing views engaged in First Amendment-protected, non-violent protest activity. DVEs motivated by a range of issues, including anger over COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 election results, and police use of force have plotted and on occasion carried out attacks against government facilities.

Long-standing racial and ethnic tension—including opposition to immigration—has driven DVE attacks, including a 2019 shooting in El Paso, Texas that killed 23 people.

DHS is concerned these same drivers to violence will remain through early 2021 and some DVEs may be emboldened by the January 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. to target elected officials and government facilities.

DHS remains concerned that Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVEs) inspired by foreign terrorist groups, who committed three attacks targeting government officials in 2020, remain a threat.

Threats of violence against critical infrastructure, including the electric, telecommunications and healthcare sectors, increased in 2020 with violent extremists citing misinformation and conspiracy theories about COVID-19 for their actions.

DHS, as well as other Federal agencies and law enforcement partners will continue to take precautions to protect people and infrastructure across the United States.

DHS remains committed to preventing violence and threats meant to intimidate or coerce specific populations on the basis of their religion, race, ethnicity, identity or political views.

DHS encourages state, local, tribal, and territorial homeland security partners to continue prioritizing physical security measures, particularly around government facilities, to protect people and critical infrastructure.

And yet the GOP, the House GOP, and the Senate GOP allow members to continue to LIE about the results of the election & refuse to hold Trump accountable.

Dave Miller said...

Shaw... here's what we are up against.

" ...the frequent mention of Qanon [sic], (which is something NO Republican I know even understands or has read or whatever you do to it)..."

The person who posted this comment, La Capitana of the Mothership of Denial, has no idea, nor do her friends, what QAnon is. In an environment where QAnon is discussed everyday, literally in all of the traditional media and even on Facebook, this person has no idea.

That means FoxNews, OAN, RT, NewsMax and more are not even mentioning it. Supposed news organization are not mentioning one of the main backers of an insurrection against the Capitol and the Government of the United States.

How is this possible, except through willful ignorance?

No Republican is her circle understands, or has read about one of the largest group of agitators and haters in America today.

Trump may be tried. But he will never be convicted. Because of ppl like this person and the millions of others who have elected ppl like Marjorie Taylor Greene. They have advocated over and over for the death of Democrats. They have lied daily in an attempt to overturn the November election. And they have decided they need not bother with facts, data or reality that conflicts with their previously held positions.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Dave. But they believe BLM and Antifa will destroy America and are responsible for all the turmoil we’re experiencing.

I read where La Capitana once referred to Dr. Fauci as “The Jerk.”

The fact that the majority of Republicans will not convict a president who incited an insurrection against his own government and by own his words incited the mobs to kill his own Vice President and the Speaker of the House tells not just me by a majority of Americans and the world that the Republican Party and people like the Mother Ship sailors are anti-democracy Fifth Columnists. They approve of presidents who incite insurrectionists against their own country.

There is no other way to explain them.

AUTHORITARIAN sentiment runs very deep in the party of tRump and Orange Goon Squads.

It’s an attack on the United States. Those who participated or coordinated should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Anyone wanting to “move on” is soft on crime, soft on terrorism, soft on national security. And they spit on the officers who defended the Capitol.
