"Tiny bit of rowdiness"

See the comment below from a far right Trumper blog that was sent to me via email.

ACUCHUCK says:

I’m pretty sure that TINY BIT OF ROWDINESS, at the capital, is nothing, compared to the bloody noses, that will come of this, if the Left continues it’s way’s.

I for one am so angry, that I have to force myself to turn off TV and try and think of something pleasant. But of course that don’t work.

I find my self dreaming how I can mow down those Antifa bums with my Hummer. Problem is no matter how I look at it I still get caught and prosecuted, because, I’m a Trump Supporter.

I find shaking my head in disbelief, because, of what has happened to this country, AND ALL BECAUSE 1 MAN STOOD UP TO THE ELITES.

************************************

There are thousands and thousands more who think like the person quoted above.

It's difficult to read this and believe we live in the same country, isn't it?

"Tiny bit of rowdiness."

Five people are dead -- one of them was a Capitol police officer. (So much for their fetishizing the police.)

Vice President Mike Pence was threatened with hanging.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's life was threatened.

Some "tiny bit of rowdiness!"

That person quoted above is being willfully stupid and dishonest. No one in this country (or the world)  who saw what happened to our Capitol building, the citadel of our democracy, would call that a "tiny bit of rowdiness."

But people like this "ACUCHUCK" commenter refuse to see reality because he and people like him are caught up in a sick cult of lies, anti-democracy, and anti-American sedition. "ACUCHUCK" and the person who runs the blog where this was published are part of what happened in the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday because they support it.

They refuse to live in reality and continue to believe the lies and calumny Donald Trump has spread to his weak-minded cultists.

You can be absolutely sure that had this happened under a Democratic presidency, had a Democratic president encouraged an insurrection because he lost his re-election, the ACUCHUCK's of the world would be screaming bloody hell for that president's head on a pike.

But Trumpers are tribalists who stubbornly refuse to see what is in front of their noses, to see that Trump is the most dangerous and malignant actor this country has ever had the misfortune to put in the White House.

I'm glad the House is bringing articles of impeachment against Trump. That's the very least our country can do to this outlaw presidency. Even if Trump is not convicted, the second impeachment will prevent him from running for public office ever again, and he'll lose many privileges accorded to ex-presidents.

What Trump really deserves is prison and shunning for the rest of his miserable life.

The people on those blogs who continue to pretend that Trump is the victim and not the five dead Americans ("tiny bit of rowdiness?) -- those people are armchair seditionists who have no love for America and continue to show that their allegiance is to the outlaw Trump and not the United States of America.

I hope Blogger is reading their seditious posts and comments and acts accordingly. They support a president who encouraged an insurrection against the United States of America, and those Trumpers deserve to lose a private company's platform to continue their seditious claims against the United States of America.

Oh, and this is for that disgusting insurrection supporter, ACUCHUCK and his anti-American "Tiny bit of rowdiness."

Jennifer Rubin in the Washington Post listens to Republicans calling for unity, and disagrees, citing the obvious sedition of the Capitol invasion and the utter necessity of denouncing it. She thinks that a unity worth pursuing would be a unanimous vote to impeach Trump for his role in a lethal act of sedition:

'So, no, lawmakers who voted to overturn an election do not get to lecture on unity. Nor do they have any right to remain on private actors’ media platforms. Journalists bemoaning Trump’s exile from social media and Hawley’s loss of a book deal fail to appreciate that publishers and social media cannot be commanded to promulgate others’ messages.
The same crowd insisting that bakers cannot be forced to make gay couples’ wedding cakes should understand that private actors such as Twitter and Simon & Schuster enjoy First Amendment rights and freedom of conscience. Rather than tell them that they must carry seditionists’ messages, patriotic Americans should applaud these companies for taking a stance against those who threatened lawmakers’ lives and tried to topple an election.

'Senators should consider not only the damage Cruz and Hawley have already wrought but also their collective refusal to renounce claims of fraud. They should take up the ultimate sanction: expulsion for Hawley and Cruz. The House should also toss out McCarthy and Scalise, enthusiastic participants in the effort to substitute Trump for the duly elected president.

What would be unifying at this point would be a unanimous vote on Trump’s impeachment and removal, followed by expulsion from Congress of the primary instigators of the bad-faith objections to the election. The only basis for unity is reaffirmation of the truth and banishment of the seditionists.'

You're all smoke, Dervy. This feigned "outrage" is all red herring smoke/ stink to cover a broken voting system and a stolen election. You wouldn't want anyone to actually SEE the Democrats and Uniparty pols behind the curtain.

The following is from a RedState.com oped published of the coverage of the insurrection last week at the Capitol. Supposedly, it is not from some blogging loon.

"Stormed?! Please! Aside from a couple of bozos who broke a window to get in, I clearly saw Capitol Police opening doors for protestors to enter, while appearing to cordially chat with them as they strolled through the building. As I’ve mentioned previously, the concerned Americans strolling through Statuary Hall, were all staying inside the velvet guide ropes, surely not the actions of a rabid mob bent on violence or chaos as promoted by the media

Violence?! Yep. I saw some pushing and shoving along the barrier line. I also I understand that a few officers were treated for injuries. Let me say here….If you touch a cop in the lawful discharge of his duties, your sorry butt should go to jail. However, with the exception of the above, most of what I saw were protestors waving flags and getting along famously with Capitol Police. I did also see some minor property damage.

Let me be real clear. There was no riot in DC. There was no insurrection. There was no “storming” of the Capitol building. There was a peaceful rally. There was a largely peaceful protest that was marred by some bad acts by a very few people. There was and is, absolutely nothing to be traumatized or intimidated by. It’s time to tell the press, the politicians and even our pastors, stop the gaslighting."

Have we been looking at the same images from that day? The same videos? Jonathan Edwards was right about two Americas. One that is sane and driven by data, facts, reason and logic, and if this is how Wednesday's events are understood, one that is driven by ideology, hatred and blind partisanship.

The person's post is more of the same type of rhetoric and threats that fueled trump's insurrection.

The ONLY thing that gives me a little hope is that 67% of the nation properly BLAME trump for the (his) insurrecrion. However, the remaining 33% are the hardened trump supporters who would, as trump said, continue to support him if he shot someone on 5th Avenue in NYC.

It is this 33% (trump cultists) that are, and will remain, very dangerous even after the Orange Turd's departure from Washington. It from this group the domestic terrorists that attacked the Capitol arose. Arose to SUBVERT DEMOCRACY and the WILL OF the PEOPLE. This 33% are the DEPLORABLES that HRC spoke of in 2015/2016. They are energized, they have shown us what they are capable of and I for one take them at ther actions/words.

This 33% can not be trusted. The domestic terrorists/insurrectionists/traitors came from this group of 33% (trump cultists). Biden is going to have his hands overflowing dealing with the bullsh^t the seditionist/insurrectionist trump is leaving him with.

This is FAR from over and NO ONE knows when (or even if) it will end. After all, some of these zealots are no better than the zealots of ISIS notoriety. This nation better be very careful/vigilent because a cancer of the national character has metastasized and comsumed the 33%. Somehow Biden and the democrats are going to need to determine an effective way to excise the cancer.

Dave Clearly the people on RedState.com (aptly named, btw), the far right Trump cultist blogs, and Minus FJ above you, are not dealing in truth or honesty. They are cultists and as such cannot deviate from their dogma that the elections was stolen (it wasn't) and that Trump is a victim.

How a country can survive when one third of its voting population, the Trumpers, refuse to live in reality, is a question we have to ask ourselves.

We saw the actual videos of the insurrection and FIVE PEOPLE ARE DEAD!

I don't know how a country deals with people who are inoculated by Trumpism against facts and reality. All I know is that I truly understand what happened in 1930s Germany to what appeared to be good Germans. A mania took hold of them as they followed a murderous maniac down a path that destroyed their country. Trump hasn't exterminated millions as Hitler did, but five people did die in the insurrection led by his supporters. And I've read and heard that they've said this is just the beginning.

Fanaticism and ignorance go hand-in-hand with cultists. We're seeing it in real time now.

These Trumpanzees are beyond delusional, they are deranged much like their hero, King Clorox. Until we bring back the Fairness Doctrine, we have zero chance of facts breaking through to any of those who live and survive inside the right wing media bubble which has so warped their minds. The blogs I read have all these elderly Trumpers worked into a frothy frenzy and crying about how unfair everything is to them. Seriously. You can't make this crap up and our President Biden is going to have his hands full with lousy anti-American scum like them infesting our nation.

Perhaps the 14th Amendment offers us a clue as to the fierce backlash against the term "insurrection."

No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

Now, granted, I'm no Judge Scalia, but it seems to me that a simple originist reading of this amendment would pretty much disqualify a few folks on the GOP side of the aisle.

Wouldn't it?

Cumulus Media, a talk radio company with a roster of popular right-wing personalities including Dan Bongino, Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro, has warned its hosts to steer clear of misinformation about election fraud.

Brian Philips, an executive vice president of Cumulus, sent the stern memo on Wednesday, the same day that a pro-Trump mob rampaged through the halls of Congress. Addressed to employees working in the company’s programming and talent divisions, including those at its syndication arm, Westwood One, the memo’s first section appeared in bold typeface, with many words capitalized for emphasis.

“We need to help induce national calm NOW,” the memo began.

“Cumulus and Westwood One will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended,” it continued. “The election has resolved, there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.’ Please inform your staffs that we have ZERO TOLERANCE for any suggestion otherwise. If you transgress this policy, you can expect to separate from the company immediately. There will be no dog-whistle talk about ‘stolen elections,’ ‘civil wars’ or any other language that infers violent public disobedience is warranted, ever.”

If I understand impeachment and the conviction process correctly it would prevent Trump from ever running again, he would lose his Secret Service protection as a ex-president and also lose his lifetime pension. Trump must be impeached even if it takes 100 days and then tried for all his crimes as a civilian by the Southern District of NY and finally be imprisoned. Trump must be held accountable for what he's done to this country.

At this point, it is clear that Trump truly believes that he won the election, and this qualifies as a psychotic delusion. We don't need lengthy assessments--it is all out in the open. All Republican congressmen who are complicit with Trump's attempted takeover of the US must be censured if they do not resign, including Hawley, Cruz, Hyde-Smith, Johnson.

This is our country, not Trump's.

The Republican Party no longer represents principled conservatives, of which there are still millions in the electorate (starting with YOU!), who will need to start a new political party to represent them in future elections, especially given the craven loyalty displayed at the RNC meeting on Friday, during which they top brass applauded Trump when he came on the line while avoiding any mention of the carnage he incited just two days beforehand.
Trump has to be impeached again, and the Senate must convict him to send a clear message to the Josh Hawley's of the political elites that such actions as those undertaken by Trump not only on 1/6 but throughout his tenure are absolutely out of bounds and will be met by sanctions that matter.

I have to ask: in what world can a man incite an insurrection that results in death, and not be prosecuted to the full extent of the law?

Dammit! Trump committed the most heinous crime that a US president has ever committed and some people are talking about letting him sail off into the sunset? This. Is. Insane. Thinking.

Bluebullamerica said...

What world you ask, Shaw? The world where a terrible attack by foreign terrorists on an outpost consulate resulting in the death of 4 Americans gets 11 investigations, a dozen hearings, utter outrage from the entire Republiscum party and media and was the worst thing to ever happen to America (even though several of these attacks on other consulates during the Bush years without a peep) but this outright assault on the heart of our nation by gangs of rebellious thugs being directed by the President and his scumbag party, is deemed "A bit of rowdiness." Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for my hourly 'bang head on wall until I vomit over the frustration,' period to commence. :)

Bluebullamerica, I keep forgetting that the Republicans lost their collective minds when Trump became president. This is all about his base and the fear the Goopers have of upsetting the whole lot of his thugs, hypocrites, and deplorables.

The reactions to their seditious acts are being reported. Withdrawal of support by several corporations who don't look at the insurrection on January 6 at the United States Capitol as a "tiny bit of rowdiness."

My hope is that the GOP Congressmen and women who challenged the lawful electoral count will be thrown out of office for their treachery.
