He referred to them as "great patriots," before adding, "Remember this day forever!" He later told them in a video that they were "special" and he "loved them."
Clearly not the words of a man who was disappointed with an attack on his own country's Capitol; they were the words of a man who approved of what he saw and was sympathetic to those who acted at his behest.
That’s what makes the “Antifa" talk beyond bewildering. The rioters can’t simultaneously be patriots who did the right thing and secret leftists who are to be condemned. The claim that it was Antifa is just batshit crazy. “
