Trump Pardoned Tax Cheat After Mother Attended $1 Million Dinner

Paul Walczak’s pardon application cited his mother’s support for the president, including raising millions of dollars and a connection to a plot to publicize a Biden family diary.

Trump to pardon a reality TV couple convicted in $36M fraud

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter, Savannah, spoke at the Republican National Convention in 2024.

In November 2022, Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to prison terms of 12 and seven years, respectively, for conspiring to defraud banks in Atlanta of more than $36 million and evading taxes.

Jenkins was convicted by a jury in December 2024 on charges including one count of conspiracy, four counts of honest services fraud and seven counts of bribery concerning federally funded programs.

Lee wrote in a March sentencing memo that Jenkins repeatedly violated the public's trust "by exploiting his official powers for personal gain."

"After he was caught, he sought to manipulate the judicial process and to evade responsibility for his crimes by lying to the Court and the jury," Lee added.

We should be thinking about projection.

Each of these pardons went to people found guilty, not by judges, but in trials before a jury of their peers of fraud and cheating on taxes.

Hmmm...

Trump doesn't believe he or his organizations should be held accountable for these crimes, so why would he uphold the rule against others convicted of similar offenses?

The steady and insidious erosion of our democratic and judicial norms by the FOTUS continues as he joyfuly unravels the fabric of our nation.

Where do we even begin?

The MAGA class will have nothing to say about this at all. Because Trump does it. Seriously, why would his followers be troubled? As the US government moves to have a controlling stake in US/Nippon Steel, a 'golden share" as Trump has called it, will we hear all about "socialism" and "communism" as the government takes control?

Will any of them, save for perhaps, Rand Paul, rail about government taking control of private US businesses?

Not. At. All.

Because just like they said they are against deficit spending, against not honoring the military and against pardoning criminals and tax cheats, it's all only true when a Dem is president, or wears a tan suit.

Absolutely disgusting. If you’re rich and white, you can buy a pardon from the most corrupt POTUS in history.

These criminals cheated everyone by defrauding the government, re. taxes. These people are obscene. Just disgusting.

You don't approve of "La Clemenza de Trumpa-Tito"? It's too, "self-serving"? But you approve of "La Clemenza de Biden Autopen-Tito". Hmmmm....

The latter was far far more Kafka-esque...

La clemenza di Tito (The Clemency of Titus) by Mozart explores themes of civic duty, personal loyalty, and romantic love, ultimately highlighting the power of forgiveness and enlightened governance. The opera, set in ancient Rome, dramatizes the conflict between these ideals, showing how personal desires can threaten the stability of a virtuous ruler.

This is how corrupt Trump is: He keeps pardoning criminals while deporting the wrong people without due process!

Shaw Kenawe said...

This post is about the overwhelming corruption of Trump (convicted felon & sexual assaulter, liar, cheat, & fraud), and not Biden. Biden has not been indicted (unlike Trump and 91 indictments) for anything, nor convicted of any crime.

Stop changing the subject with your whataboutism. Thanks.

Nothing screams “law and order” like giving a get-out-of-jail-free card to rich white tax cheats who support you.

"Donald Trump’s pardon of Paul Walczak, a convicted tax cheat, came after Walczak’s mother attended a $1 million per plate dinner at Mar-a-Lago, and is yet another example of how Trump uses presidential clemency to favor the wealthy and well-connected.

Walczak, a former nursing home executive, ran a decade-long scheme where he withheld over $10.9 million in payroll taxes from more than 600 employees, using the stolen funds to buy a $2 million yacht, luxury cars, and designer goods. Even after repeated IRS warnings, Walczak continued hiding assets by creating new companies under family members’ names. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay $4.4 million in restitution, but after his mother—a major Republican fundraiser—paid for exclusive access to Trump, her son’s sentence and financial penalties were wiped away."

He should ask the thousands of federal employees sacked for political purposes. He should ask Harvard and Columbia why their free speech is under attack.
But he won't. Instead he joins his fellow fascists in their gleeful cruelty in punishing people they hate.

Society will always have its' "discontents", and I applaud those who rebel against it. But its' silly and counter-productive, IMO, to reward them for doing so.

-FJ pivots to gaslighting again. He wants us to believe everyone fired was running DEI training classes, conveniently ignoring the Kafkaesque investigation of an honest man who told Trump the truth that he lost in 2020.

This is worse than politicized lawfare. It is a PERSONAL vendetta against an honorable person, whom NONE of Trump and his indicted mobsters are.

This is the fascism that -FJ cheers, as he ignores all the sleazeballs being pardoned by hie Felonious Fuhrer.

He hates the idea that qualified members of the LGBTQ community are allowed a public service job at all.

How many competent and productive employees were fired? We'll never know. We were never even shown the alleged "waste, fraud and abuse". All we got were lies from liars. -FJ and the economic/political elites see them as scapegoats, not human beings.

Human decency is absent in fascists, as -FJ generously demonstrates through his support for a criminal and racist regime.

Les Carpenter said...

This for the MAGA folks. Perhaps they'll figure it out. Perhap not. Nontheless it is truth.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

No, not all those fired were DEI strap-hangers. There was a huge segment of the bureaucracy associated with NED, NDI, IRI and USAID, including the US Institute for Peace which were coordinating Intelligence Community capacity building... for Regime-change purposes globally. There was also a huge network of biological weapons research facilities that included gain of function research that needed shutting down. Closer to my heart though were the DEI programs mentioned... as over $200m cut were at the NSF. Before Biden left office his minions released close to $93 billion in grant making NGO's and financial entities (they called it "throwing gold bars overboard")... mostly aimed at "green" and "green energy development programs. I personally see them as wasteful, as the Navy doesn't need to burn "green" jet/ship fuels (JP-5) or develop biodegradible weapons ammunition .

Of course -FJ is trolling to deflect from the discussion of the CRIMINAL pardoning CRIMINALS. He's still good with Musk's and Trump's massive grifting and tolerance for pals convicted of fraud, isn't he? Republicans only, obviously. "Equal justice under law" RIP. The Inquisition is on.
Does anyone believe -FJ can show us his evidence of "huge network of biological weapons research facilities that included gain of function research that needed shutting down"?
Didn't he help spread Putin's LIE about bio weapons labs in Ukraine?
Why shouldn't we use green rocket fuel if it does the job?

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

Rocket fuel is also burned for satellite and space vehicle station keeping. Do you know what an ion propulsion system is? Why would you EVER think that you needed a "green" (less efficient and therefore payload weight penalty) version of it?

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

from Google AI:

Green propulsion systems are an alternative to conventional chemical propulsion systems that use hydrazine propellants for a variety of applications, including next-generation launch vehicles and spacecraft.

Yes Dave, the main engines are burned getting you to space, but thrusters are used once you get there. So why develop special "green" low Newton thrustors for outter space? It's a senseless marketing gimmick, that why. it qualifies for ALL the green energy development grants. It's a boondoggle that would NEVER exist in a competitive market place. Like solar panel tech. It's JUNK (and yes NASA uses lots of solar panels). It's welfare for aerospace companies.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

btw - Do you know what a cubesat is? Why would you ever develop a green thruster for use on a cubesat?

A federal study on mental health problems and substance use across the country that has been running for decades and is used by a wide range of researchers faces an uncertain future after President Trump's cuts to the federal workforce.

The National Survey on Drug Use and Health is an annual survey of households conducted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, which is being dissolved in Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s overhaul of the nation's health agencies.

Larry Hoover, has been in Super Max because as a state criminal in Illinois he was running a $100 million annual drug business. Hoover had been convicted and was serving six life sentences for conspiracy, extortion, drug and other criminal charges.

Trump pardoned him of his federal charges although Hoover still faces 200 years in prison on other assorted state charges.

Why would Trump bother to do this?

What wrong is he righting with this action?

Exactly. Here is info on Space X: During launch, a Falcon 9 rocket consumes a tremendous amount of fuel. Specifically, it uses 700,000 gallons of fuel per second. The twin Solid Rocket Boosters alone burn 11,000 pounds of fuel per second, generating a combined thrust of 5.3 million pounds.

Joe Conservative said...

...and if the fuels were "Green" and contained less potential energy, it would take 2x the fuel to get every payload into orbit. That also means that the payload could only be 1/2x as heavy.

Joe Conservative said...

As Lazare Carnot famously said, "In order for there to be progress we must find energy sources of greater and greater energy densities." Green energy isn't the best "energy density" choice. It's like pitting the energy from 1,000 tons of wind mills against that of 1,000 tons of nuclear reactors.

Joe Conservative said...

And I was at <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umatilla_Chemical_Depot">Umatilla</a> tracking the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VX_(nerve_agent)">VX</a> incineration in the mid-2000's... along with those at 7 weapons storage depot's across the nation. The material was too dangerous to transport, so it had to be destroyed in place (at the cost of ~$10b)

Joe Conservative said...

The Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) of '75, also known as the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC), is a treaty that prohibits the development, production, stockpiling, and use of biological and toxin weapons. It was the first multilateral treaty to ban an entire category of weapons of mass destruction. The BWC's core obligations include never developing, producing, stockpiling, or acquiring biological agents or toxins, or weapons, equipment, or means of delivery designed to use them for hostile purposes.

That's why they're currently developed under the premise of developing "defenses" against their use.. or as "immunology" research. like the Covid research... a rapid development "vaccine" program... @@

...we wouldn't want to be accused of treaty violations, would we? Maybe that's why so much of the research is conducted "overseas".

Cuckoo? "poorly incentivized"? or BOTH?

Also from Google AI: NASA is developing green fuel for thrusters, also known as "green propellants," primarily because they offer several advantages over the traditional propellant, hydrazine. Green propellants are safer to handle and store, require less personal protective equipment, and can improve mission performance and reduce costs.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
1. Reduced Toxicity and Safety:
Hydrazine is highly toxic:
.
Current spacecraft typically use hydrazine, which is a toxic fuel that can cause serious health problems upon exposure.
Green propellants are safer:
.
"Green" propellants, like AF-M315E, are significantly less toxic than hydrazine, making them safer to handle and store.
Less environmental impact:
.
Green propellants reduce the environmental impact of propellant handling and disposal compared to hydrazine.

My bad... (the ratio of payload mass to total vehicle mass) is relatively small, often in the range of 1% to 5%... you do the math.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

SpaceX rockets, specifically Falcon 9, use a supercooled liquid oxygen (LOX) at a temperature of 66 Kelvin (K), which is equivalent to -206.7 °C or -340.0 °F. The fuel, RP-1 kerosene, is also cooled to 266.5 K (-6.6 °C or 20.0 °F). This superchilling helps increase the propellant density, allowing for more fuel and oxidizer to be stored in the tanks.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

The rocket propellant AF-M315E is primarily used in spacecraft propulsion systems, not rockets, for attitude control and orbital maneuvers. It's a monopropellant green alternative to hydrazine, which is commonly used in satellite propulsion systems.

Super chilled liquid propellants, while offering a bit more storage, possess less Specific Impulse, hence hydrogen replaced kerosene. The RP-1 system has 281 ft-lb/lb, while Liquid hydrogen provides 381 ft-lb/lb.
