She actually believes slave owners "...were good to their slaves." Did she ever question the idea of being "good" to people you OWN? BTW, she also has no sense that the opening of the Obama presidential library was a PRIVATE affair, it had nothing to do with the 250 anniversary of the founding of this country. I found this humorous comment at the Mothership today. A woman who, apparently, lives on a side of a bay was lamenting those nasty Iranians (Lucy) keep pulling the football away from Charlie Brown (Trump). Totally lost on her is that the dim witted Charlie Brown keeps falling for it. When will he learn?
Fear of loss (loss of identity) drives the MAGAs into the embrace of an authoritarian populous and racist that promises he will save them (and the country) from being overrun by brown people and people of non X'tian faith.

Craig, that’s why I read that blog as well. I like to understand, or at least try to,the MAGA mind. GEEEZ is a bit more honest than most of them because she at least has the ability at times to see why Trump is so bad at what he does. For the last 10 years, she has fantasized about him becoming a statesman and expressing himself in whole sentences and with rationality. Of course, he disappoints her time and again, and she never understands why. After 10 years, it has never dawned on her that Trump is simply incapable of rational thought or being a decent human being.
They are also blinded to the fact that he mirrors a North Korean dictator, demanding adulation, and praise from his cabinet members, and calling anything that comes near to criticizing him fake news or communists! The folks at the GEEEZ blog faithfully carry water for the Trump administration and Trump himself because they can’t handle the truth.

Thanks Les. I've always looked at my faith like this... I could be wrong and there's nothing eternal at the end of life. If so, so be it. But my life won't be wasted as some say. It will have been a good run, helping lots of people live a better life.
