Canadian Parliament Chants "Four More Years!" to President Obama

Go read any of the rabid radical right wing blogs and news sites to see how excruciatingly wrong they are about President Obama's approval around the world. The more insane among them claim he's not respected by other countries and that Trump will make America great again by acting like a blathering buffoon.

The opposite is true. What a surprise!

The Canadian Parliament chanted "Four More Years!" after Mr. Obama addressed them yesterday. Canada loves our American president.

Below is a chart from the Pew Research Center showing President Obama's approval numbers around the world.  The overwhelming majority approves of our American president. The rabid radical right wingers, as we know, are nuts and are consumed by their hatred of President Obama. They are in a sad, distinct minority and wrong, as they usually are on most issues:

So the Trumpistas believe Donnie will make America great again by having our allies detest him? How does that work?

How about Trump? What do our European allies think about the bloviating flesh bag?

Pew poll: Trump at 9% with Europeans

Clinton earns much more positive marks among Europeans

Just 9% of Europeans surveyed have confidence in the presumptive Republican nominee to do the right thing in world affairs, according to a new Pew Research Center poll Wednesday.

Eighty-five percent of respondents in 10 EU countries said they have no confidence in Trump, who has described his foreign policy doctrine as "America First."

Trump's rival, Hillary Clinton, earned much more positive marks among Europeans, with 59% saying they have confidence in the former secretary of state.

Twenty-seven percent expressed no confidence in Clinton, Pew found.

The Pew poll was conducted among 20,132 respondents in 10 European nations, four major Asia-Pacific countries, Canada and the U.S. from April 4 to May 29, a period that ended weeks before the Brexit vote.

Yep, they hate him. Or wait, maybe the love him because he's weakened America???

Slightly OT, bit focused on your recent theme of plagiarism... Did you see the recent NYT article on TRUMP U? Seems the "university" has been cribbing material from other sources.

Is it a surprise that people who do that themselves, would support a candidate who does the same?

More on Trump's unfavorability numbers.

From Booman Tribune:

"A recent Washington Post poll highlights the Achilles’ heel of Donald Trump’s campaign: Minority voters, namely blacks and Hispanics, don’t support him.

The poll, released Wednesday, only shows the problem is evolving for the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. A staggering 94 percent of black adults surveyed view Trump negatively, a 13 percent increase since the same poll was conducted in May.

While Trump’s likely general election opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton, is boasting a 79 percent favorability rating among black Americans, Trump is fighting claims of racism after launching attacks on a U.S.-born judge of Mexican descent.

“I am not a racist, in fact, I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered,” Trump said to The Washington Post last week, defending his comments that U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel’s Mexican heritage creates a conflict of interest that prevents him from fairly presiding over a case involving Trump University.

Those comments were met with scorn by both Democrats and Republicans, with Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) calling it 'textbook' racism."

Yes. The Goopers have a real winnah in Donnie, haven't they? Who, except the rabid radical right wingers, like this loser? 60% of his own party does not support him!

I'd like one of his supporters tell me how he wins a presidential election with the negative numbers he has with women, African-Americans, Hispanics and Latinos, Asians, AND A MAJORITY of HIS OWN PARTY.

Can someone tell us how he'll win?

Dave,

I found this from CBS News on the plagiarism issue:

"Just as Donald Trump attempts to stave off lawsuits regarding his real estate education venture Trump University, increased scrutiny has turned to other Trump ventures -- including one business bearing the Trump name that has now been accused of plagiarism and fraud.

According to a New York Times report, the Trump Institute -- a seminar business owned and operated by known get-rich-quick marketers Irene and Mike Milin -- plagiarized whole chunks of its instructional material, which had been sold to students as Trump's own real estate wisdom.

"I've put all of my concepts that have worked so well for me -- new and old -- into our seminar and people are loving it," Trump once said in an infomercial advertising the Institute. "People are really doing well with it and they're loving it."

But the Times reports that at least 20 pages of the Institute's educational materials -- copyrighted in 2006 as the publication "The Billionaire's Road Map to Success" -- were taken from a little-known real estate text published by Success magazine in 1995, part of a series called "Real Estate Mastery System."

You do realize that any negative report on Trump from any outlet other than Breitbart or FAUX NOOZ is suspect in the flinty minds of the rabid radical right wingers -- remember PolitiFact, FactCheck.org, and SNOPES are all run by Soros, according to them and, therefore, not to be trusted.

The question I have is this... Is there any scenario in which the right wing would not vote for a Trump candidacy?

I've said all along I cannot support HRC, but as Trump continues to devolve, is anything too beyond the pale for these folks?

Some keep complaining about how bad he is, but they're sticking by him...

Dave: "...but as Trump continues to devolve, is anything too beyond the pale for these folks? Some keep complaining about how bad he is, but they're sticking by him..."

It appears nothing Trump does will deter them from voting for him. Trump's miserable record on marriage and fidelity doesn't bother them; Trump's miserable record on human decency -- insulting women, Latinos, Hispanics, African-Americans, Native Americans, the disabled, POWs -- doesn't dissuade them, even his fake Christianity doesn't bother them. It's really astounding.

What we've learned is this: Some members of the religious right aren't so much devoted to their Christian values as they are devoted to their political ideology. That doesn't apply to all Christians, because there are more than a few who are true to their Christian values and have rejected Trump.

The folks on the regular right wing blogs that we read, however, are not that sort of Christian. Trump's ascendency in the TGOP has revealed them to be, IMO, pseudo-Christians, as fake as Trump. I don't say that lightly, because I didn't like those same people questioning Mr. Obama's Christianity -- which they still to this day do, believing he's a "secret Muslim."

Mr. Obama has been a Christian all of his adult life; he has been a faithful, loving husband and father, and is a man of "reasoned elegance and personal nobility." All of those attributes are valued by Christians, yet the TGOP right wing bloggers reject those values in Mr. Obama and embrace the absolute opposite of them in Donald J. Trump.

The only conclusion one can deduce from that is that those folks are "sunshine" Christians; and when it was time to test the allegiance to their values, they took the politically expedient course and pledged their allegiance to what many people believe is a charlatan and a thin-skinned narcissistic fraud. I laugh when I read that some of those people point to Trump's family as proof that he's a "good" man, while totally rejecting that evidence of a "good man" in President Obama.

I am not the only one who sees their sell-out to Trump as a sell-out to their professed belief in the tenets their Savior taught them. They chose Trump over Jesus. Let them live with that.

Even the right-wingers in Europe are not behind Trump. Who could have foreseen that the slogan "America first" would not play well in the rest of the world?

So both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump said we have a problem with immigration and the wingnuts say only Trump gets called a bigot for saying that? They are such tools.

Trump got called a bigot because he said Mexicans are rapists and thugs and murderers. Bill Clinton never said anyuthing as stupid as Trump did. The wingnuts are too damn stupid to undersstand the difference so they put up stupid memes that lie.

Pm Carpenter found another instance of Trump's galloping hypocrisy. No wonder those fake Christian TGoopers love him:

"Is there any Trumpian hypocrisy left unexploited?

From The Hill, yesterday:

Donald Trump on Wednesday hammered his former primary rivals for going back on a pledge to back the eventual GOP presidential nominee. Screen Shot 2016-06-30 at 10.45.05 AM

Trump said his primary opponents who now refuse to support his candidacy should not be allowed to run for office in the future, since they've gone back on their word….

“Honestly, you sign a pledge, you’re supposed to honor the pledge,” he [said].

From Politico, three months ago:

Donald Trump has rescinded his pledge to support the Republican nominee for president.

Asked during a CNN town hall whether he stood by the earlier pledge — which he signed in September after meeting with party chairman Reince Priebus — Trump said: "No, I don't."

Yes give them an alternative. Maybe -H- will be indicted and Joe will run then the people will have a good alternative. The majority of both parties are against their own candidate which doesn't say much for our selection process.
-H- solution to energizing our dead economy is to raise taxes on corporations and the rich. That has been the policy for the last eight years and it has resulted in a stunning 1% GDP growth rate, the slowest recovery in history.
Trump is a loose cannon who has no filters.

Shaw Kenawe said...

First of all skud, you're wrong:

From Real Clear Politics:

How do Clinton and Trump do with their own parties and Independents?

Clinton does better, retaining 82 percent of her party’s voters, while Trump has 73 percent of his.

Both Clinton and Trump get 8 percent of the opposite party’s vote, much like Obama vs. Romney in 2012. As of last month, Clinton was getting a higher percentage of a larger number, while Trump gets a lower percentage of a smaller number. Trump, therefore, needs to do exceedingly well with Independents in order to win in November.

Trump does NOT do well among Independents.

Your comment on GDP growth is simplistic, not taking into account the global economy:

"The most significant event during President Obama's presidency has, without a doubt, been the Great Recession. When he took office, the country was losing hundreds of thousands of jobs a month, the stock market was in freefall and the GDP was shrinking. Several of the measures below show the country pulling out of this recession during the first 6 to 18 months of his presidency and then performing well above average performance after that point. In many cases, his overall average performance is impacted significantly by the first initial months.

Given that caveat, during President Obama's first term and the portion of his second term that has elapsed thus far, the economy has performed worse than average for GDP growth, job creation, median income and debt. However, the performance of the stock market has been spectacular. It is also important to put the economic performance in global context. During President Obama's presidency, the United States' GDP growth has beat the GDP growth of the other original NATO member countries by the widest margin of any president since World War II."

SOURCE

Can you tell us how the Republicans in Congress since 2010 have worked with the president to get the GDP doing better? Tell us how they've compromised with Mr. Obama to help the average American? What's that you say? The Republicans vowed to OBSTRUCT Mr. Obama in EVERYTHING he tried to do?

Then it is a freakin' miracle that we've done as good as we have when the Goopers' strategy was to sabotage anything the president did so that he wouldn't get another term.

What patriotic people, those Republicans. Willing to make Americans suffer. And suffer. So that they could be triumphant in their obstruction of everything Mr. Obama did.

Tell me, skud, who would want to have anything to do with a political party as cynical and corrupt as that.

The GOP has a 9% approval rating as of now. Herpes is more popular than the GOP.

And to top that off, their nominee for the POTUS is a thin-skinned narcissistic fraud.

I understand Trump has invited the convicted rapist, Mike Tyson to speak at his GOP convention in Cleveland.

Have a nice summer!

Not only are they fake Christians, but the Trump supporters are fake Americans as well. Japan just started blanket surveillance of the country's Muslim population, and this is the response of a rabid radical right winger:

"Japan top court approves blanket surveillance of country's Muslims...

That's the right idea!"

These are the same people who claimed Obama was shredding the Constitution, and here they are shitting on it and saying it's a great idea. They're support a scoundrel fake Christian Trump and want Ameriaca to violate it's Constitution and spy on all Muslims.

They're filled with fear and hatred and they don't understand that a government that can do that to one religion can do it to all: Spy on this country's Christians. More Christians have blown up Americans then Muslims. Let's start spying on Christians and start with the person who wrote that treasonous crap. This is what Trump is doing to America: MAKING IT ACCEPTABLE TO BECOME LIKE NAZI GERMANY. The GErmans kept track of the Jews didn't they remember how that turned out?

OARoTPB,

Thanks for reading those rattraps so we don't have to. You're correct. The rabid radical right loons have betrayed their religion and now they betray America by supporting surveillance of a religious group.
