Trump Administration Rolls Back Russia Sanctions
As many expected, the Trump administration has begun softening the relationship with Moscow.
Just saw this on PM Carpenter's blog:
Trump rewards Putin for international criminal acts
The, like, smart person in the Oval Office has — unbelievably, as he would say — reportedly gone and rewarded the world's worst actor for invading its neighbors, blowing up passenger planes in flight, and interfering with an American presidential election:
Meanwhile, our ally Australia has taken a verbal beating from the president, other allies have lost all confidence in the U.S., and our third-largest trading partner can't even stand the sight of Trump.
But Putin, an international criminal? He deserves all that Trump can give.
It's just unfuckingbelievable.
One would hope that Alexander's reporting is premature; that this was merely an administration trial balloon waiting to be popped. But given how "smart" the smart person in the WH actually is? One also wouldn't be surprised if Alexander's reporting is accurate.
Now we await more clarification.

With trump always hope for bad but expect disaster.
You're most likely to get the latter.
UNITED NATIONS, Feb 2 (Reuters) - U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, blamed Russia on Thursday for the recent surge of violence in eastern Ukraine and warned Ukraine-related sanctions against Russia will not be lifted until Moscow returns Crimea to Kiev.

I'm confused. This seems to be contradicted by the Treasury Dept. action.
I guess it's only allies that he wants to piss off.
