No. It doesn't work that way, Donnie.

‘They lost Ryan’: Trump blames his own generals for Yemen raid that killed Navy SEAL

The little blame-weasel doesn't understand that the POTUS gives the go-ahead for any military operation. It doesn't matter if this was planned during the Obama administration; it doesn't matter if generals told him to go forward with it. Trump gave the order to carry out the operation, it is ultimately his failure.

The Bay of Pigs operation was planned before JFK took office. At the advice of "the generals," JFK gave the okay to go forward with it, and it was a terrible failure.  JFK took full responsibility for the failure, as an honorable president should, since he is the Commander in Chief.

Trump is a coward and a blame weasel. He blamed his generals, even though we all know Trump is the CiC who has the last word in these military operations.  Trump bears the responsibility for the Navy SEAL's death. Period.

The little blame-weasel is also trying to blame President Obama and the Democrats for the recent vandalism and bomb threats to Jewish cemeteries and community centers.

He even suggested that the Jews themselves may have perpetrated the desecration of their cemeteries.  He doesn't understand that his choosing an anti-Semite alt-right as his strategic adviser nor his Muslim ban have anything to do with what's happening around the country to minority religions and communities.

From Digby:

"Bill Owens, the father of Chief Petty Officer William “Ryan” Owens, the Navy SEAL who died in the operation, demanded an investigation into his son’s death over the weekend. Owens further revealed he couldn’t bear to meet Trump at the airport as Ryan’s casket was carried off the military plane last month.

Asked about the matter during an interview with Fox News’ “Fox ‘n’ Friends,” Trump repeatedly said “they” were responsible for the outcome of the mission, in reference to the military.

“This was a mission that was started before I got here. This was something they wanted to do,” he said. “They came to me, they explained what they wanted to do ― the generals ― who are very respected, my generals are the most respected that we’ve had in many decades, I believe. And they lost Ryan."

No. YOU lost Ryan, Donnie. You are the CiC. The responsibility is all yours, you little blame-weasel.

Maybe we should scream Yemen Yemen Yemen!

President Obama said Benghazi happened on his watch so he was responsible.

Notice the difference between the adult in the room and Trump.

The cemetery desecrations are "false flag" actions.

What's bottom for this dirtbag? Hasn't he given David Duke's crew enough cover?

Well. the brass that planned the action share some responsibility. But, the CIC having been briefed and then gave approval bears ultimate responsibility. He cannot escape that fact. Except in the minds of the Trumpanzees.

So RN, in your thinking was Obama also responsible for four American deaths at Benghazi?

Anonymous, President Obama and Secretary Clinton both took responsibility for the Benghazi tragedy. Trump just pushed the blame for the Yemen failure and death of a Navy SEAL onto other people. He did not take responsibility. He's a blame-weasel.

Hey, I'm back! I've missed you here but love seeing you on FB...

In the I never thought I'd say this category, GWB got points with me after denouncing Trump's immigration policies.

How long until we can start the impeachment?

Hey Satyavati devi dasi! So nice to see you here.

I thought the same thing when I read what GWB said about immigration and Trump's attack on the free press. I never thought I'd see a president that would make GWB look good, but now we have such a person in the White House. It's going to be a long painful 4 years. I won't let up and pretend that one hour out of the countless hours Trump has spent acting like a maniac is going to make him "presidential." Nothing can do that because essentially, he's a thin-skinned bully and con man.

PS. I love your avatar. You look gorgeous!

I hope it's only four years. His base is very much in love with him; it's a cult of personality. With any luck the current democratic upsurgence will continue and bring needed energy into the next few elections.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure that the bleeding will be able to be stopped in just another four years. He's doing a lot of damage.

Thanks about the avatar, it must be five years old by now and I look different, but I am always reinventing my look.

It's good to be back!
