General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Shaw, the wackos on the right are excusing Trump for being a liar because they knew he was a liar when they voted for him "warts and all."

"wackos" doesnt describe these people. they'd have excused Mussollini if they would have lived at that time. At least we know about how many crazy people are in this country.

If the Oroville Dam crisis ends with massive flooding, the affected areas will need federal assistance. If that comes to pass, I'm afraid of how the administration will respond (or fail to).

please check source -- pretty sure this is fake news (and very possible a fake quote designed to be inflammatory)

Anonymous, listen to the video and hear Miller say the words himself.

Imagine if a close aide to President Obama had said those words. The wingnuts would have burned down Washington DC. Not a peep from them when a Trump spokesman says them.

Anonymous, I didn't know which story you referred to, since the post is about what Stephen Miller said. I DID however check out the one about federal funding for disaster should the dam break in Oroville. That IS a fake news site. I deleted the comment. I should have checked with a cousin who lives in Sacrament to see if such a news source exists. Fake news abounds these days. I usually check on the source. This time I didn't. I regret the error.

However, Trump is known to hold grudges and is a vengeful man, so it did sound truthful, knowing that about him.

Thank God they're such incompetent authoritarians and that they don't try to hide it.

Lord Dampnut's approval rating keeps dropping. No modern presidency has tanked as quickly and as hard as Lord Damput's:

Only 40 percent of Americans approve of the job that the president is doing, while 55 percent disapprove, according to the Gallup poll, which tracks the percentage of Americans who approve of disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president.

The results are based on a three-day rolling average.

The daily results are based on interviews with about 1,500 adults. The margin of error is 3 percent.

The president's approval ratings have been dropping slightly since he assumed office, according to Gallup. At the beginning of his presidency, Trump had a 45 percent job approval rating.

This is from a friend who lives in California:

Although President Trump has not refused to provide federal aid to California, he also hasn’t yet approved Governor Brown’s request for it. Governor Brown requested a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration on 10 February 2017, but as of this writing President Trump has not responded to it:

Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. requested a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for the state to bolster ongoing state and local recovery efforts following January storms that caused flooding, mudslides, erosion, power outages and damage to critical infrastructure across California.

Governor Brown also issued an executive order today that adds the counties of Amador, Mono and Riverside to the 49 counties already included in the emergency proclamation issued last month due to January storms. The order also authorizes state funding through the California Disaster Assistance Act for 34 counties impacted by the storms and directs the California Department of Transportation to formally request immediate assistance through the Federal Highway Administration’s Emergency Relief Program for Amador and Riverside counties.

We note a minor phenomenon; sales of Orwell's '1984' are shooting way up.
Suspecting an alt-fact feed from the Trumpian gameplan, I did an internet search
and found 3,770,000 articles. So, citizens are figuring out the new administration.
Duh.

You are all whiners. Trump is great. And here's why.

If Trump drags his feet on helping California, he'll invite unfavorable comparison with Obama's response when natural disasters hit Oklahoma City and New Jersey, both of which had Republican Governors. Once again Trump can't or won't get the job done.

Yet nothing showed up on the right wing blogs.

Normally they are concerned that the Constitution be respected.
However since the perception of the 9th circuit is that it is liberal the idea of judicial review does not apply. Nullification is automatic.

At what point does the right realize they either censure this autocrat or they abandon the meme that they give a damn about Constitutional separation of powers.

Apparently Robert D. is another garden variety right wing trumpian wacko troll. One of the 33% of fake Americans who no matter how authoritarian, how undemocratic, how xenophobic, how bigoted, how misogynistic, how militaristic, or how Putinesque Trump and his administration is will never disavow his agenda and policies.
