This is how Germany sees Trump.

They're not incorrect.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

This is how other allies see us.

Just ask Australia and Mexico.

And Norway:

Former Norwegian PM: I Was Stopped At US Airport Due To 2014 Trip To Iran

Right now, Trump is unliked around the world and here at home -- but he is admired in Russia. Yeah. The ex-head of the Communist KGB -- y'know, the guy who kills his opponents and unfriendly journalists -- Trump and he get along just fine.

I suggest we keep up the protests and increase his negative ratings. All of that will surely push Lord Dampnut over the edge, as this recent crazy tweet illustrates:

Kellyanne Conway: "Media inciting a ‘mob mentality’ by not giving Trump ‘aura of respect’ he deserves"

IF anyone is acting with a "mob mentality," it is Trump and his gang of anarchistic thugs.

In order to get respect, one must give it. When Lord Dampnut acts like a POTUS, maybe he'll get some of that respect he so desperately wants. Until he learns how to control his 5-year- old impulses, Lord Dampnut will get nothing but the ridicule, mockery, and contempt that he so richly deserves.

With respect to... respect. My attitude is to start by giving respect to an individual on first meeting or contact with them, In doing so they more often than not return the respect you have given them. In other words start with respect and ten is the responsibility of the other to keep (or lose) your respect.

trump has chosen to lose the respect of millions around the globe as well as in the USA.

Truth is trump is so goddamned stupid he really believes he is adored and respected by the great majority. Well maybe he isn't stupid, just alarmingly tone deaf as well as elationship blind.

Trump set a record for executive orders in a first week. He also set a record for the number of White House prayer meetings. Is he seeking God's approval, because
of his disapproval polls here in the US? How long until the GOP impeaches him?

Toronto Globe and Mail:

How to trump Trump

Its funny how the left defends its actions assaulting people and burning college property like Berkeley as expressions of its right to free speech - while intimidating and stopping others from expressing their own free speech. Apparently, free speech is only free if it comes from the leftist themselves.

Anonymous, you don't really know who the protesters were at Berkeley do you.

I believe this:

This is a place many Cal alumni turn to for news, and I feel there is going to be an annoying narrative hanging in the air today about our campus and our people. In light of yesterday’s events, I want to issue a public service announcement about last night’s protests in Berkeley, because I feel our Golden Bear population deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Anarchists from around the Bay Area, NOT Cal students, were the ones who demonstrated violently last night in Berkeley. Utilizing typical black bloc techniques, they hijacked last night’s peaceful student protest of a certain speaker and turned it into the uncomfortable display that was aired throughout the nation.

That is not necessarily the narrative that was aired out for the public, so I will leave you with this statement from the university.

The violence was instigated by a group of about 150 masked agitators who came onto campus and interrupted an otherwise non-violent protest.

...

The masked agitators came to campus eastbound on Bancroft Way, and fire damage and other destruction to the Stiles Hall construction site, where a new residence hall is planned, was reported. The group entered campus and immediately began throwing rocks at officers. In an effort to avoid injuries to innocent members of the surrounding crowd who might have been caught in the middle, police officers exercised restraint and did not respond with force.

Agitators also attacked some members of the crowd who were rescued by police. UCPD reported no major injuries and about a half dozen minor injuries. Mutual aid officers from the city of Oakland and from Alameda County arrived at Berkeley around 7:45 p.m. to assist UCPD and Berkeley city police.

No arrests had been made by UCPD as of 9:30 p.m.

Campus officials said they condemn in the strongest possible terms the violence and unlawful behavior that was on display and deeply regret that those tactics now overshadow the efforts of the majority to engage in legitimate and lawful protest against the performer’s presence at Berkeley and his perspectives.
People have taken advantage of the Berkeley spirit of free speech to use it to advance their own agenda for a national audience. As a Cal grad, this isn’t the first time it’s happened and it certainly won’t be the last.

For those of you unfamiliar with the history of protest at the University of California, anarchists from OUTSIDE campus have been hijacking peaceful student protests at UC Berkeley for years for black block type marches, from “Black Lives Matter” to anti-war rallies. Anarchists tend to be in high supply in our little neck of the woods, and Berkeley is their rallying cry for their small chaos sprees (I’m not sure exactly what they want, other than the dissolution of the world order). It has left many in our nation with the impression that our university’s students are crazy revolutionaries who want to overthrow the state.

Breitbart chief and close adviser to Trump, Steve Bannon, is on record saying he's a Leninist who wants to bring down the state and destroy it. What better way than to support anarchists who show up at peaceful demonstrations so that the POTUS can threaten it with withholding federal funding? What happened at Berkeley is suspicious. I believe the student who wrote the above. This sounds like the work of a group of people who want to bring down the state and destroy it.

And you are just guessing Shaw, you don't know either. I suppose you think the violence in the streets (against Trump) last Summer were Trump's people? There are no leftist protesters, or violence makers?

Trump's capable of anything. He's a proven liar -- Big League. And his closest adviser, Steve Bannon, has said he wants to destroy the state. What better way than to have his goons rioting in the streets and then blame the left for it so that the focus is on protesters while Trump and Bannon "destroy the state."

You cannot say DJT does not run a transparent administration. Like it or not he does everything out in the open and is unfiltered. Hopefully he will realize he does not need to share his opinions without giving some thought as to the consequences.

I am not sure what is worse a president who shares his own opinions or a president who said they would have a transparent administration and it turned out to be untrue. Of course I can't totally blame him because he had to wait until someone told him what his opinion was.

Even I am getting a little tired of all the media focusing on DJT. All we heard for a year and a half was Trump and now that he is the president all we hear is Trump. Hope this doesn't go on for the next eight years.

Donald Trump Ordered To Pay $5.77 Million To Golf Club Members He Stiffed
The Florida business violated a contract, a federal judge ruled.

skud, you come here and denigrate President Obama (a man of decency and moral rectitude) while praising a moral lout for "transparency?"

In addition to cheating on Wife #1 with Wife #2 and cheating on Wife #2 with Wife #3, and even cheating on Melania, Trump spent years talking to shock jock Howard Stern about having lots of sexy time with other men's wives. He's really, really good at that. Also, he loves to sexually assault the ladies because he's a star.

Lord Dampnut's really, really good at cheating people out of their money as well. He had to pay $25 million in a settlement for his fake Trump University -- and now here's another law suit he had to settle for stiffing people out of money.

So Trump screwed around on his wives and he screwed people who trusted him to make good on deals involving money.

And you're here praising his "transparency." That's quite a sickness you and the far right are dealing with.

"The Trump Organization plans to appeal. “The club was suffering financially making it unlikely that these members would ever get back their deposits,” an organization spokesman said in a statement about the state of the club when Trump purchased it.

The Jupiter club is one of a number of Trump’s golf courses entangled in problems. The PGA Tour moved an event from his Miami course to Mexico last summer, after the event couldn’t raise sponsorship funds. Trump is suing the town of Ossining, New York, in an effort to lower the taxes on his golf course there. The town has valued the course at $15.1 million, but Trump insists it’s worth only $1.5 million. "

Where the hell does President Grabber make his money? He must be wicked deep in hock to the Russians and Chinese.
Makes you wish President Grabber would release his tax returns, eh Spud?

Look for him to claim that as preznit he's shielded from civil lawsuits. That should save millions in attorney fees.

This weekend, after a grueling 2 weeks presidenting, Trump will travel to his mansion Mar-a-Lago in Florida at a cost to taxpayers of $3 million, and that doesn't include the ongoing cost of millions per day to taxpayers for his current #3 wife, Melania and son, to stay in Trump Tower instead of moving to the White House, as Michelle Obama valiantly did. Mrs. Obama was not happy with having to uproot her two children and resettle them in D.C., but because she put country before her and her children's comforts and convenience, she did it.

Mrs. Obama was a true patriot and gracious FLOTUS.

The far right righties nearly choked themselves on their spittle every time Mr. Obama took a break for a vacation (he took fewer vacations than his predecessor, GWB), but they're noticeably quiet about Lord Dampnut cutting out of D.C. and costing the taxpayers millions of dollars in doing so.

That's because Drumpf's supporters are cultists, not supporters.

Dave Miller said...

Shaw, they are mostly quiet about everything.

I've heard no criticism about him signing Executive Orders, yet they railed at Obama. We will hear nothing about his vacation costs, like when they railed at Obama. We do hear them saying give him a chance, he won the election, but a quick look at the Mother Ship and the comments there when Obama took office will show no grace towards him and "Moslem" mob.

I believe it is because the conservative right wants one thing and they've got it. Total control of all the levers of government.

And that desire is fine with me. They won and just like in the Pottery Barn analogy of Colin Powell, they own it. Lock, stock and barrel. And they own it all. Absent vocal denunciations and strong action and proclamations against some of the things Trump is doing, we can only assume they agree with him and support his policies.

Period.

Their silence is deafening.

And their hypocrisy is on display daily...
