Interesting selections. They certainly didn't just go with the most obvious ones for the modern period. I know one person who would be outraged at the omission of the Kinks, though.
Interesting that Greensleeves sounds more "modern" than most of what followed for the next 400 years. Or maybe that's just because it's more familiar. I had no idea Henry VIII might have written it.
