General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

President Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday that he told Secretary of State Rex Tillerson that diplomatic efforts to resolve tensions with North Korea are pointless

Good Gawd! The Maniac-in-Chief wants war.

"Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump on Sunday again mocked North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and said Secretary of State Rex Tillerson should not bother trying to negotiate with him in an effort to stop the country's development of nuclear weapons.

'I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man..." Trump said on Twitter. He continued, '...Save your energy Rex, we'll do what has to be done!'

Trump's Sunday morning tweets came a day after Tillerson said the US had direct lines of communication with North Korea and that he was trying to 'calm things down' following months of escalating rhetoric over Pyongyang's continued nuclear weapons and ballistic missile tests."

It's rather difficult to "calm things down" when there's a mentally deformed maniac in the WH (actually, today he's on the golf course for the gazillionth time since he became BLOTUS), who's sending out reckless tweets endangering the lives of millions of people around the globe.

We breathed a small sigh of relief when we read that Tillerson was behind the scenes talking to the North Koreans and using diplomacy to undo some of the damage #45's caused with his juvenile name-calling and stupid nuclear war baiting rhetoric directed at the other maniac in North Korea.

Between blaming the victims suffering and dying in Puerto Rico from Hurrican Maria's devastation and then essentially telling the North Koreans (and the world) that he prefers nuclear war to negotiations, Trump has shown once again that America would have been better off voting in a Saint Bernard as POTUS then the imbecilic man-child America's idiots voted for.

Mr. Mueller! Hurry! Please!

I can hardly wait. I live in one of the closest US cities to North Korea. If we get nuked, Trump will no doubt blame us for our problems, claim our mayor showed poor leadership by getting vaporized, and complain that we want everything done for us.

Strictly speaking, it's probably true that negotiation won't bring about disarmament (it hasn't done so in the past), unless we can get China fully on board, something Trump is strikingly unlikely to be able to do. But even getting nothing done is better than provoking a possibly-nuclear war.

(You might want to watch out if Trump's belligerence eventually shifts to his other favorite target. Boston is the closest big US city to Iran.)

Doesn't every president belittle his Secretary of State during negotiations?

Ducky: "Doesn't every president belittle his Secretary of State during negotiations?"

Only the embarrassingly stupid ones. Lord Dampnut is setting all sorts of records in the annal of US history's "First Time Ever for a POTUS:"

First time a president humiliaates and undercuts his own SoS and endanagers his country and the world during sensitive negotiations with a nuclear-armed foe.

First time Americans elected someone with no electoral or military experience.

First time Americans elected a 3-times divorced louche who publicly bragged about sexually assaulting women. And who publicly lusted after his own daughter.

First time Americans elected someone who was brought to court on fraud charges and LOST to the tune of $25 million.

First time Americans elected someone who pays himself to stay at his own resorts and gives the US taxpayer the bills.

Shall I go on and spoil what's left of this glorious fall Sunday with more examples of a thoroughly corrupt and reckless lout who pretends to be a president?

I wish I knew what was going through Trump's mind when he tweeted that. I'm so glad he made General Kelly Chief of Staff so that he could keep a watchful eye on #45 and dissuade him from acting irrationally wi and dangerously th this small hands and fingers.

"It is possible that we are closer to war with North Korea than we were yesterday entirely because the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico pissed this gilded moneytoad off. (Today, by the way, he is again at a golf course, this time for a golf tournament.)

Trump's weekend-long fury over how he, personally, is being publicly criticized rather than on the needs of Puerto Rico or the nation is yet another demonstration of his inability to perform the tasks of his office. He cannot do it; he cannot summon either the patience or the raw interest to address any task not revolving around his own self-praise.

It also speaks to the inability of new chief of staff John Kelly to bend Trump towards the duties of the office. We cannot suppose anyone else could have succeeded in the effort, but Kelly's failure means that the nation continues to be in danger from the incompetence of its commander in chief."

i really thought rex would have resigned by now. but i also thought that trump was just acting like a lunatic to get elected and he'd act normal if he won.

if trump ever gets into a volunteer fire department, i'll lose all faith in the human race.
