President Porn Star Shagger bragged about what a great job he and his administration did during Hurricane Maria. He was lying again, of course.

For the record, here are the death tolls of recent hurricanes. DJT's record is deplorable.

Trump can bend reality to his will. Is THAT not an unsung success? Trump probably still believes that only 64 people died. The higher number is fake news. And they were all brown, so who cares anyway? #worstpresidentever. BTW, did you know the coming hurricane is going to be tremendously wet? Yeah, news to me too.

By the same token, I suppose 9/11 was an "incredible, unsung success." It did provide impetus for the war in Iraq, so there is that.

How many of those were in a poor, unprepared island with an uneducated poor population. Maybe look at Haiti as a comparable situation. This is reminiscent of NO with an incompetent mayor and Governor both of who said they don't need federal help until they needed someone to blame.

Sandy is a resort town for the wealthy, well educated part time residents surrounded by massive populations and you can drive there. Hardly a comparison and if you look you will see that a poor infrastructure was the cause of most of the deaths in PR.

Granted there is plenty of blame for the PR mess but it is not all on the federal government.

Skud, we're not talking about the federal government's response, we're talking about the lying, out-of-touch braggart who said the response to Hurricane Maria was an "unsung success." That's more of #45's b.s. You cannot say it was an "unsung success" when almost 3,000 Americans died. That's as many Americans who died on 9/ll. By no one's measure can it be called a "success" when 3,000 lives were lost. The only image I retain of #45 and his empathy for the suffering Americans in P.R. is of him throwing paper towels at the survivors.

PS. As you try to blame poor, uneducated victims, you once again appear to defend the indefensible.

Obama didn't recover s----. people used to walk around with their heads down and expressionless when he was president. More people are laughing and smiling again . Barry was the biggest downer ever.

Dervish Sanders said...

"Headupmyass" is an accurate summary of that comment IMO. LOL. Because that comment somehow made its way over here, I will repeat my comment from that blog... As follows...

It was an ABSOLUTE JOY to have an intelligent, accomplished, empathetic, competent President. Which Obama absolutely was! It was especially joyous given how horrible the president who came before him was. At the time I couldn't have imagined that anyone could be worse! But you say a misogynist, racist incompetent, amoral teevee buffoon makes you happy? Because he pisses off "libtards"?

Dervish, I don't know why people copy and past other people's comments here. I thought this was a parody. But you say this is someone's actual comment? Obviously his head is truly in a very dark place. A typical TrumpCultist. The good news is that their numbe is dwindling and those against Trump are increasing. If we can get the House this fall, sanity will return to DC, and the Democrats can tie #45 up with hearings and subpoenas for weeks and weeks, keep him from doing further harm to this country.

Trump brags that he's done great things. Ha! He's at his lowest approval job rating of his presidency. Smart people aren't buying his crap.

It is a Lisa comment. Click my link and look at the comment above mine.

Dervish That explains a lot. I wonder why she copied and pasted it here...

Ms Shaw, If this a bash trump for what he said why bring up other hurricanes as an example. The federal government did what it does best, much everything up to the tune of millions. Look at Houston as an example. People joined forces and helped each other and the disaster relief. Look at NO and PR, people sat back and said I am incapable of helping myself, and NJ shore was gimme money.
You can blame the governor of LA because she said we don't want federal help we can handle this. Of course right after the dam broke she said the federal government is at fault. Of course we know what the crooked mayor did after looking down from a high rise hotel, he went to jail for corruption. PR was much the same, the citizens did little and the government allowed the infrastructure collapse yet the mayor of San Juan blamed the federal government and djt for her mess.

Skud, the point is that Trump constantly bragged about what a good chief executive he would be and that he would hire only the best pepple and that other administrations didn't know what the hell they were doing.

Then a devastating hurricane came along, Hurricane Maria, and 3,000 Americans died. That's as many Americans who died on 9/11. Bringing up past presidents doesn't address Trump's boasts about what a fantastic and better job he'd do. He didn't. And 3,000 Americans lost their lives. Today he's shifting the blame to other people, as he always does. He's a poor excuse for human flesh and a coward.

predisent Trump via Twitter:

3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000 ... This was done by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico. If a person died for any reason, like old age, just add them onto the list. Bad politics. I love Puerto Rico! [end tRump Twitter BS].

Can you believe this STUPID a**shole? People continue to die AFTER the storm due to damage caused by the storm. People in hospitals who need electricity to stay alive, from drinking contaminated water, diseases from sh*t getting stirred up, drowning, heat exhaustion and dehydration (no AC or running water), etc. Yeah, these deaths were likely among the more vulnerable (elderly and very young) but they would NOT have died if not for conditions caused by the hurricane!

Is tRump really this stupid or is he just latching onto any excuse so he can shift the blame elsewhere (as is his MO)? I really don't know. Either way he should not be allowed to get away with his attempt to paint the death toll as bogus and inflated by Democrats. It is an insult to the dead and to the families who lost loved ones. The response to Hurricane Katrina was a black mark on the bush presidency (among MANY). Yet tRump most likely won't be held accountable. According to him Puerto Rico is an "unsung success". #worstpresidentever!!!

Dervish, only 30% of the voting population (NOT the American population) will swallow that b.s. along with all the other b.s. he regularly spews. His job approval rate is the lowest of his presidency. The American people see right through his b.s.

Someone needs to tell the Bag of Fecal Matter that he doesn't need the Democrats to make him look bad. He's doing a bang-up job of that all by himself.

Les Carpenter said...

When it comes to tRump 30% of the people can be fooled ALL the time apparently.

I'm not defending trump but am saying we have let ourselves become a victim society who takes no responsibility for their actions.
Trump is a narcissistic blowhard but he actually gets some things accomplished for all the American people not just the special interest and billionairs, who BTW are mostly democrats.

Ducky's here said...

Because tRump's inept performance in Puerto Rico has forced him into verifiable major lies it may be an incentive to get his crap together for Florence.

And after all, the people in the Carolinas mostly speak English.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Skud, where do you get the idea that America is a "victim society?" I don't know where you live and how your neighbors behave, but it's not like that here in Boston.

skud: "Trump is a narcissistic blowhard but he actually gets some things accomplished for all the American people not just the special interest and billionairs, who BTW are mostly democrats."

Seriously, dude? Did you laugh at yourself when you wrote that?

Who benefits the most from the tax cuts? Whose tax cuts are PERMANENT and whose are temporary? Who bragged at his billionaire club Mar-a-Lago (I'm assuming very few Democrats want to rub shoulders or anything with Don the Con there) that he made his billionaire pals richer?

Who has a golden tower with furnishing that would be the envy of Saddam Hussein or Louis the XIV? HINT: It's not Barack Obama. Who said he wants to have billionaires in his administration?

Also, you need to stop making claims -- like most billionaires are Democrats -- without evidence. How do you know that? Did FAUX and Friends tell you? PolitiFact says it's impossible to know because ertain types of political nonprofits are not required to disclose all their funders. So you wrote that because it made you feel good. Try writing comments that are evidence based-- that'll make you feel even better. The Truth Will Set You Free!

Hey, skud, did you see this? Trump comes through again for billionaires!

skud, I for one await your hopefully reasoned and fact supported response.

Ms Shaw, I believe you are correct. The CEO's of all the tech companies are conservative and most of Hollywood are as well so the majority of billionaires are defiantly republicans. This information comes from Forbes

You do know that you can only contribute a portion of earned income to an IRA. The percentage of allowable contributions are the same for the rich as well as the not so rich. Of course the rich are going to benefit more that the not so rich. They pay the most in so they get the most out.

Skud: "Ms Shaw, I believe you are correct. The CEO's of all the tech companies are conservative and most of Hollywood are as well so the majority of billionaires are defiantly republicans"

I did NOT claim that. I asked you for evidence, and I also said that it is impossible to know all American billionaires' political affiliations. Don't claim things that I did not say.

Your making claims about rich in your last comment. Why? You claimed Trump has done some great things for the middle class, and I pointed out that the biggest thing he's done so far (except lfor kidnapping babies and children) has been his tax cuts which are permanent for the billionaires but not for the middle class. Why is that? There are more people in the middle class than there are billionaires. But billionaires are Trump's people, not the middle class. If the TrumpCultists believe he's on their side, I've got a University I'd like to send them too. It was founded by a con man who had to pay $25 million in a law suit against it.

skudrunner said...

Shaw, I never read anything about the tax cut being permanent for billionaires. I thought it was permanent for businesses.

The tax cuts affected the majority of American workers in a positive way. Since the majority of American workers are in the middle class it was positive for the middle class.

The kidnapping of babies is in the DNC handbook. Why not call it for what it is, enforcing the law. That is something the last few presidents did not do and now it is a shock to our system. Like or hate trump he doesn't care about PC and optics which is a far cry from the previous eight years when that is all that mattered. I assume you are in favor of open borders and not enforcing our laws.
