tRump dazzled the crowd last night in a state that ranks 50th in health care for its citizens and 46th in education. IOW he impressed sick and barely educated cultists.

tRump knows and goes where his mindless supporters reside. A con easily leads the incurious and unthinking.

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three
emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove
people from that service? Appreciate it!

Anon, since you checked the "notify me..." I believe you need to undo that function from your end. Sorry.

Ray, Clearwater, RN, Trump is a chickensh*t, yellow coward. He would soil his undies if he ever dared to go to a blue state and see what mentally stable people really think of him. As it is, he only dares to go t places where his cultists are guaranteed to worship his stupidity. Usually in states that have the worst educational outcomes for their citizens.

I don't believe in litmus tests and I believe that elected Democrats have to have some leeway. We can't expect them to all vote like those from more liberal enclaves. But, really what good is Joe Manchin?

Kevin, Manchin is a Senator from a very conservative state (a state BTW that has the poorest county in the nation, and a state with only 3% population of color, so it's a very white, very conservative, very poor, and also very religious state. In order for Manchin to be re-elected as a Senator from that state, he has to be insync with his constitutents.

Here's another example: Massachusetts' governor is a Republican, and he's very popular and will most likely be re-elected in November. Charlie Baker is an old-time liberal Republican who believes in a woman's right to choose and who rejected Trump and his dirty, repulsive behaviors and politics. In any other normal time, the Republicans would be joyful to have a man like Baker as their nominee for the presidency. He's got one of the bluest states in thrall to him. But these are not normal times. The GOP has been hijacked by a serial adulterer, liar, fraud, probably tax cheat, and misogynist who mocks sexual assault victims.

Trump appeals to the worst in human beings, and we've discovered there are millions of deplorable fellow Americans in this country eager to follow the swine into the sewer.

A copy and paste from WYD. Possibly a FreeThinke (aka Franco) sock puppet.

Shaw, I take your point about Manchin and I suppose he's better than whatever a WV Republican would be like. Of course, Robert Byrd won elections there forever, but then he was very good bringing home the bacon for West Virginians.

Anyway here's a tweet Philip Rucker has up.

Heidi Heitkamp's brother Joel on MSNBC: "She may lose. But in the morning, when she's brushing her teeth, she needs to like the person she sees."

If Heidi Heitkamp can put her re-election on the line I think that removes any excuse Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski can come up with.
