Trump whined about this incessantly for years. And because Trump is a known, documented liar, I never believed it.
Now his own IG, after an investigation of Trump's charges, has found that the FBI made errors but there was never a plot or conspiracy to get Trump.
A long-awaited report by the Justice Department’s inspector general delivers a scathing critique of the F.B.I.’s handling of a wiretap application but also punctures many conspiracy theories.
WASHINGTON — A long-awaited report by the Justice Department’s inspector general released on Monday sharply criticized the F.B.I.’s handling of a wiretap application used in the early stages of its Russia investigation but debunked President Trump’s accusations that former bureau leaders engaged in a politicized conspiracy to sabotage him.

Well that can't be. After all, Trump said that it was true... Oh wait, I see my error there. Nevermind... :)
In this season of Glad Tidings and Christian love and cheer, the response of the Captain of the USS Mothership to the Horowitz Report says all there is to say about the right. A senior citizen, weekly church goer and self described follower of Jesus just had two words...
"Bite Me!"
Nice charitable language, further showing that many on the right believe anyone who doesn't 100% support is part of the "Deep State."
Singing In The Rain.
The only way to shut out and deal with the continual deluge of trumpian brown showes Trump and his cultists release on America daily.
showers... not showes.
Dave, did she really write "Bite Me!"?
Here's what I found on the net for the slang definition for the phrase:
"for the record, "bite me" refers to fellatio. Oral sex. It also means "get lost" or "screw you."
I wonder which way she meant it. LOL!
Shaw... yep.
I guess there is no such thing anymore as language your mother, or grandmother would disapprove.
I expect that kind of response out of juveniles, but not adults who want to be taken seriously. And I admit, what I'm saying sounds sanctimonious, but if respectful use of the English language, even in disagreements is sanctimonious, so be it.
It's called civility.
Dave, Donald Trump's gift to US politics is that he dragged us all down to his level of
dirty thuggery and infantile epithets.
Shaw... people don't get "dragged" down. Rather, they choose to inhabit those places. There are plenty of former GOP members who refused to play in the mud.
It's as simple as that. Unless you're accepting the new sand box rules as what's good for America. I choose not to.
Dave, you're correct. I know many Republicans/conservatives (a son-in-law, for example) who aare disgusted with Trump. And we know conservatives/libertarians who were not duped by Trump and his bastardization of conservatism. But it is disturbing to know that 40% of the voting public still remain loyal to an obvious con man, liar, and cheat.
There's just no explaining the American voter,it's hard to believe over 60 million people voted for Trump and there will more then likely be more in 2020.
