TRUMP MOCKS THE LATE US REPRESENTATIVE JOHN DINGELL AND HIS WIDOW, DEBBIE DINGELL

This is the moral pig and loathsome, indecent waste of human flesh that the current Trumplican Party is defending to the last man and woman.

How Trump and his yawping mob mocked and degraded a beloved US Representative, suggesting he was in Hell, and how he denigrated his widow are acts too shocking and indecent to comprehend.

This is Trump being Trump and his cultists can't get enough of this repulsive blight on all that is decent and good in America.

Showing, once again, his utter lack of class or dignity. He's filth, always has been and always will be.

The president’s decision to go after the Dingells, a long-respected political family in Michigan — a key state in the upcoming presidential election — struck a familiar tone. Mr. Trump repeatedly attacked Senator John S. McCain, Republican of Arizona, for months after his death in 2018.

The president’s bit did not go over well at the rally where the crowd was heard booing after his swipe at Mr. Dingell.

After complaining about the hypocrisy he faces in Washington, Mr. Trump described the respect he displayed for Mr. Dingell after he died, offering accounts of reverent gestures he made that in some cases, according to Ms. Dingell, were inaccurate.

Mr. Trump said Ms. Dingell called him and thanked him profusely for steps he took to honor her husband and recalled that she said her husband would be thrilled as he looked down and saw how the country was honoring him.

“Maybe he’s looking up,” Mr. Trump said during the rally. “I

Trump knows he's a failed president.

So, his narcissistic mind causes him to demean and attacks people of superior character and intellect as he believes it making them look small makes him look big. (Yeah, he is a big orange blob, granted)

Little does he know what real and decent people of character think of him. He has zero self awareness.

Well stated, RN. Here's Rick Wilson a real Conservative who, like you and other true Conservatives/Libertarians/Independents, saw through the empty husk that is Trump:

Wilson onTrump's deplorable attack on the Dingells:

"Trump's boundless, ravenous ego is a singularity of need, an insatiable maw demanding abject loyalty when he shows even the most minimal courtesy. Everything is transactional and disproportunate. Nothing is ever enough. It's always "What have you done for me lately?"

Trump exists only in Trump nation, the agitprop bubble of his media lackeys and enablers.

He plays only to the mob, the unwashed and furious masses of a cohort educated only in their grievances and the imagined slights of their betters.

I wish to the gods there was one goddamn elected Republican in the world to call out his b.s.

Just One.

But Profiles in Cowardice is the order of he day, and it is a party not only without stalwarts but one where the collaborators with evil see themselves as heroes."

A very short but true summary... Trump is a master of projection. And in my opinion his lackey's are worse. They KNOW exactly what Trump is and yet they support him.

Trump first elected Pres impeached in first term, first to overtly continue impeachable acts during impeachment proceedings and first to impugn, slander and insult Congress persons for upholding oath of office

"OTHER NEWS; TRUMP SHOULD NEVER EVER HAVE SLAMMED DINGLE’S WIFE;….HE WAS CRUEL, HE GAVE FODDER AGAIN TO PELOSI, WHO USED IT VERY EFFECTIVELY LUMPING IT TOGETHER WITH HIS NASTINESS TOWARD THE DEAD JOHN MCCAIN…SHE EVEN ADDED “JOHN MCCAIN….JOHN MCCAAAAIN!”

PELOSI AGAIN SAID “LET US PRAY FOR THE PRESIDENT” I WISH SHE’D STOP USING HER PHONY RELIGIOSITY…YOU CAN’T BE PRAYERFUL AND BE SO MUCH FOR KILLING BABIES. PERIOD."

But can you be Holier Than Thou and support a POTUS who takes babies and children away from their parents and put them in cages where they die? That's killing babies too, Ms. Indignant Trump Ass-Kisser!

A crack in the wall?

Christianity Today has had enough

I was stunned. The Writer, Mark Galli is the Editor and Chief of Christianity Today.

In my opinion, this is a significant crack in the evangelical wall. Simply put, if you are part of the evangelical world, you cannot understand the importance of what Galli has done. He's given evangelicals cover. Cover to speak out and know that the largest evangelical publisher in the world, believes President Trump needs to be removed

"We [Christianity Today] believe the impeachment hearings have made it absolutely clear, in a way the Mueller investigation did not, that President Trump has abused his authority for personal gain and betrayed his constitutional oath. The impeachment hearings have illuminated the president’s moral deficiencies for all to see. This damages the institution of the presidency, damages the reputation of our country, and damages both the spirit and the future of our people. None of the president’s positives can balance the moral and political danger we face under a leader of such grossly immoral character.".

Breathtaking...

This might be a real turning point.

Anonymous, Joe Biden still leads Trump in every swing state. And now "Christianity Today," an important Evangelical publican has called for Trump's removal from office.

I wouldn't start crowing just yet.

This quote from a Washington Post article nails it:

“Trump is the worst within us, and he markets that worst as admirable,” said Stuart Stevens, a Republican operative and frequent Trump critic who was a senior adviser on Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. “He appeals to our darkest angels, not our better angels.”
