NO, HE ISN'T ADMIRED BY EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Quite the contrary.

You'd never see Joe Biden depicted like this on a European Magazine. (Notice the text placement.)

The New European:

I guess Trump could visit France and that wacky Marine LePen could say let them eat cake to which Trump would reply I'd love some.

As Zizek would say, "When you have some more fundamental anxiety (like of catching STDs), which is then sublimated into, embodied in this fear. So again, the fundamental lesson of "It Follows", the movie, it's a very nice one, is that: one and one is never two. There is always some excess, which can be "It", which can be some supplement in the sexual relationship. It can be the threat of another partner. It can be simply another's gaze. "

The Trumpian gaze... the "excess"... the "threat". BWAH!

It can also be "the main character" who needs to be the smartest guy on everyone's blog, so he quotes philosophers to shore up his creds as "the main character!" LOL!

Maybe a cheeseburger and cake might cause him to choke and retire to the hell being realms where he belongs.

Shaw, -FJ doesn't even use the quote correctly to make their point. It's as if they were looking for something, anything, to cause controversy, found the above, clipped it out of context and posted. How academically lazy of them.

From the posts I've read around the interwebz unofficially the leadership in Europe is stressing hardcore because of the former guys statements that he intends to break up NATO. With that agreement gone then Putin is free to enact all the fantasies he's been dreaming as Ukraine kicks his buttocks.

I guess when We The People say Never Again we don't really mean it.

The New European... sort of a anti Make [put your country name here] Great Again publication.

But your point is well taken.

Problem is this... anyone here who support groups like TNE, get quickly labeled as antiAmerican globalists in short order.

And it's called an "Argument from Authority" (argumentum ab auctoritate)...

Dave M.

I used The New Europe because it's current.

But here are German magazines that also featured anti-Trump articles.

And the German magazines, I might add, have a pretty good knowledge on how authoritarian regimes take over a country.

These and others puts the lie to Trumpers' claim that foreign countries respected Trump and the US when he was president.

Even world leaders leaders like Xi, Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Duerte thought Trump was a clown.

Globalists criticize Trump... now THERE's a shocker for you!

Well Dave M., if they label and other folks as anti American for having a clear, open, and receptive mind then i say so what. It's their ignorance, not mine.

For folks with reified beliefs, held in shuttered minds, i have zero time for. It's why i stopped visiting the Mothership a long time ago and no longer visit the realm of conservative sockpuppets.

It's become a total waste of time. Unless one enjoys reading garbage.

Globalism

Globalism has multiple meanings. In political science, it is used to describe "attempts to understand all the interconnections of the modern world.

I can see why Trumpers would be against this. They all live in their bubbles and probably believe everything outside their ken is evil and unAmerican.

Trying to understand the "interconnection of the modern world?" Of course to ant-globalists, that's a bad thing!

Betcha Putin doesn't criticize Trump, the Russian asset. But you're fine with him being a Russian asset i'm sure -fj. How un American if you.

For the rabid individualist conservative Trumper there apparently is no such thing as interconnectedness except in family relationships they approve of.

Everybody else is an "other" and suspect.

Betcha there ain't a single Trump cultist that has any knowledge or curiosity of quantum mechanics and sciences growing belief that everything in the universe is interconnected as well as constantly changing. Just like our exeriences on earth.

As well as quite possibly being conscious of itself.
