This is the group of people, all supporters of the GOP and former President Trump who use pejoratives like, "Moochelle", "Halfrican", "Faggot", "Camel Jockey", "Negris", "Moslim" and more, and yet with all sincerity, say and believe they are not racist or misogynistic.
Racism and bigotry are inexcusable even when a mayor of a town says whites are excluded from a party and it is only for people of color. People have different opinions even if you disagree.
This was a PRIVATE, not open to the public, PARTY.
It would be like YOU having a party in your home just for your friends and excluding those who are not your friends. That's what this was.
If it were a PUBLIC event on PUBLIC property, that would be wrong. She was INVITED to attend and host the event, and she did.
But I knew that the people who had no information about this event would howl FOUL! Even if there was no foul.

PS: There are PRIVATE clubs in my neighborhood that are for people of ITALIAN heritage ONLY. Do you want to report this as exclusionary? Even I, who is first generation Italian heritage, cannot just walk in, I must be invited.
There are PRIVATE country clubs where only certain members, who can afford to pay the fees, are allowed in. There are such PRIVATE clubs that exist all over this country.

I would never have a party and announce if you are a person of color you can't come. This was a private party for government employees as long as they were not white.
Nice try but doesn't fly. Racism comes from many places and people as do hypocrites. The same people who think this action is OK are the same people who are offended by the saying Make America Great. Anti anything that is conservative.
For the record, racism is built into the laws and social contract of a country against a specific group of people.
People of color are harmed by the racist laws and mores of our culture. Therefore when they condemn a group of people by their skin they can be accused of bigotry (as can Caucasian humans) but not racism.
As I see the issue it's a lot like every square is a rectangle but not all rectangles are squares. Minorities are bigots but not racist. Whites can be both racist and bigots. Yay us!??!!!
The Mayor had the right to hold her party and was cleared by those charged with her oversite but skud won't let those facts get in the way of their endless indignation. After all, someone who looks different than themselves got to do a thing they wish they could do.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I've never said I'm anti-conservative. I mock them regularly but that's not anti - that's keeping them honest and on their toes.
What I am (giving you a list skud so you won't get confused) is this: for transparency, keeping ones word, one set of laws and justice for all, and will continue to fight until I die against all attempts to thwart these ideals.
For this I am called woke and strange and accused of not understanding 'big boy' business. I understand all right. Cis-gender Caucasian heterosexual males have been in charge for millennia and have grown accustomed to 100% access to the pie of life. Now equality is spreading and they must learn how to share.
We can all see how those sharing lessons are going.

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL DETERMINED THAT MAYOR WU DID NOT VIOLATE ANY MASSACHUSETTS LAW.
