Learned I was an empath (able to feel the emotions felt by others) at a very young age, meaning I didn't know how to protect myself so I just shut everything down. That has it's own dangers as emotions, like water, will find a way out. It's what they do.
Our "philosopher" trolls say words to justify their greed, and while secure in their niches close the door behind them so they don't have to see their neighbor starving in the street. Bad decisions lead to bad outcomes they opine having never faced horrible and worse as the only options.

At first I thought maybe the homeless were unloveable but then I spent some time with them and found out why Jesus was so keen to have them around. They have nothing but if you show up, exhibit some respect they'll share their last meal with you. If they have extra and you have none you will have one. Guaranteed. See they know and if you know, you know. If you don't well, you've not walked that path yet. Be grateful.

People realized that fixing a broken bloated system would be difficult if not impossible. Rightsizing a company takes time and rightsizing a government will tale years. The biggest problem is the current regime is trying to rightsize the government in a few months and a lot of the bloat will be affected.
