"The Neoliberal preference Cascade is only just beginning... :)
Charlie Kirk will sound saner and saner with every passing day from now on. And Trump? Winning and winning..."
Wow, first time I've seen him underwater in this poll with white people. He has negative disapproval across every possible cohort.
trump approval hits a new low in today's yougov/economist poll. now worse than he was in yougov's data at this point in 2017.
"President Donald Trump has been flayed by the American people in a brutal poll portraying widespread frustration with his handling of key issues.
The Washington Post-Ipsos questionnaire asked citizens their opinions on six major topics of the day, yielding overall disapproval by double-digit margins in all of them. At the bottom of the pile, with just 34 percent approval, were his far-reaching tariffs, which have stung consumers with increased prices on imported goods. With 64 percent disapproving, it was only four points worse than his handling of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Just 38 percent approve, after he promised to end the conflict within a day of his inauguration. Some 40 percent of the 2,513 surveyed backed his management of the economy, 19 points down amid disapproval on inflation and relentless pressure by the administration on the Federal Reserve to cut rates.
The White House’s strongest approval ratings came on immigration and crime, with a 44 percent approval rating in two areas Trump has claimed to prioritize."

He effortlessly went from a C to a D and is still listed as the worst president.
Blithely and bravely he bellows on.
I'm sure one of our trolls will have made this point already but in case they haven't, here is what I've learned about the unpopularity of our president, Donald Jessica Trump (HT/Randy Rainbow)
It's not just Donald who is facing horrible ratings, it's the establishment Democratic Party too. For a group who natter on endlessly about the Constitution they certainly are more focused on 'norms' and 'gentleman's agreements' than meeting the battle head on. They are the Democrats who take corporate money and are now in a tough spot. I have no sympathy for them. They thought they could change the system back in the day only to discover the system changed them.
So, Trump is under water, the official Democratic Party is filled with dinosaurs without a single original plan, who then to turn to for guidance?
On the political side it's Jasmine Crockett, Jamie Raskin, Melanie Stansbury to name a few. They are a new breed of politician, ones who say no thank you to corporate PAC money, who know how precarious our position as humans on a swiftly changing planet truly is, understand what it means to be a public servant, and are still willing to do the job to represent their constituents. Bravery personified. And most importantly, they understand the system is only as good as the humans doing the work. The system is a tool only. Like any tool how it's wielded defines the output.
Trump and by extension MAGA truly believe the world will collapse without USA interference, all while complaining that we are the police force of the world. MAGA has convinced itself that American Exceptionalism is a real thing, not just a way at looking at oneself. Dunning Kruger indeed.
Good news is our fellow citizens decided to kick Trumpism to the curb in special elections across the nation. It's enough to make this old Grey one a happy people.
I feel I should inform you that trump is not running in 2028 unless he changes the constitution which is a possibility. It does seem to be very difficult for the dems to move from We Hate Trump to developing their own platform. They need to choose a leader, develop a platform and be unified in the message. The unified message of it is OK to assassinate someone who disagrees with you and to follow AOC's message that the right is just bunch of uneducated hicks without a degree in mixology will not win in 2028. The not a degree in mixology was my assessment of her speech yesterday. "His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans"
Now you have kamala showing that, after spending over a billion dollars, why she lost. She attacked her boss, a jewish governor and a gay mayor all in one fell swoop. I guess she didn't follow the polls that showed the longer she ran the worse her poll numbers. Had she have gone eight months she would have negative numbers, IMO.
Yes trumps poll numbers are horrible but does he really care? I believe the obsession with trump by the democrats and their media is a good thing for the republicans. If they are going to have a memorial in congress for kirk they should have a memorial for every LEO and every military person killed in the act of duty.
Perhaps you simply need a more reliable poll to quote.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove.
So we got P.T. Barnum? Explain his intellect. Scud - had someone take his
SATs? - smart. Kamela was at least a Senator, Attorney General and VP. While Trump could only descend a golden escalator. I suspect we would hae been far better off, except for the Turmp worshipers, nor? Some folks still hat FDR, though he is now rated #1 in experts polls.
After Skuds first three sentences I thought maybe he's not nuts. Then I kept reading. Never mind.
Something else of interest...

Skud: "If they are going to have a memorial in congress for kirk they should have a memorial for every LEO and every military person killed in the act of duty."
Right, Skud. No reason for them to have memorials for Democrats, just MAGA, the Military, and LAW enforcement.
That paints the portrait of a fascist one-party dictatorship.
And you wonder why we shouldn't always attack Trump for his authoritarian destruction of our republic?
"Rasmussen Reports polls are widely considered to have a right-leaning bias. Several major polling aggregators, including FiveThirtyEight and Split Ticket, have dropped Rasmussen from their analyses due to methodological issues and a history of producing biased results.
Evidence of right-leaning bias
Outlier results: Rasmussen polls frequently show results that are more favorable to Republicans than those from other mainstream polling firms.
Methodological concerns: Critics point to Rasmussen's polling methodology as the source of its bias. Issues include:
Historically relying on automated "robopolls," which have been found to favor Republican candidates over live interviews.
The use of a "likely voter" model, which can skew results rightward if Republican voter turnout is overestimated.
In the past, relying on landline-only polling, which oversamples older, generally more conservative demographics.
Significant polling errors: Rasmussen has made some of the largest errors in major elections when compared to other firms. For example:
In the 2018 midterm elections, Rasmussen predicted Republicans would win the national generic ballot by one point, but Democrats ultimately won by nearly nine points.
In 2020, Rasmussen's final polling showed a near-tie between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, while Biden won by 4.5 percentage points."
Recent controversies and reputation
In recent years, Rasmussen has faced criticism for spreading misinformation, promoting conservative media narratives, and for its relationship with the Trump campaign. The firm has also been criticized for using polemically worded questions in their polls. "
Legitimate pollsters do not take Rasmussen seriously.
But thanks for showing you know nothing about polls and pollsters. Showing the results from a Rasmussen poll is like showing us a poll taken by Trump's sons, daughter-in-law, and Laura Loomer.
Thanks for the link, Mike!
America's race to the BOTTOM!
GO AMERICA!
How many, besides Rassmussen, accurately predicted Trump's victory? How did your preferred pollsters do? Maybe you should ask that "Iowa" pollster that had Kamala up by 10.
Yeah. No. Trump is wildly unpopular with the American people. Turns out even many of his MAGAs don't like his authoritarian schtick. He's losing support even from some of them.
I do understand why you'll continue to deny this. But you're still wrong.
Les, We have survived worse than trump and we will survive him. Three years to go and you can focus on the next conservative candidate to obsess over.
Dube, "No reason for them to have memorials for Democrats, just MAGA, the Military, and LAW enforcement."
I always thought the were democrats in the military and law enforcement. I agree it makes no sense for them to support a party who does not support the but people do the strangest.
I assume you are not at a kirk memorial.
The FOTUS has Rassmussen in his reichwing hip pocket. Spreading false data in the effort to fictitiously inflate the felon's support.
We recovered to an extent after the traitors of the south lost the Civil War. But the ideology of the racists continued on, but in altered expression of the same racist ideology. In 1965, following the Civil Rights Act of 1965 the racists of the deep south became republicans.
Now, for the first time in modern history we have a racist Christian Nationalist majority in both houses of Congress and a racist Christian Nationalist authoritarian fascist prez.
It remains to be seen if this will turn out to be worse than prior errors. I believe it ABSOLUTELY will.
And skud, I absolutely obsess over the absolute depravity of tRump and his MAGA ideology of division, racism, misogyny, authorianism, and white supremacy.
tRump the felon is but the present useful idiot now being manipulated by the national cabal of domestic Cgtistian Nationalist authoritarians.
tRump himself is but a smelly fart in a much bigger and deeper threat.
