With so many similar fakes going around, I loaded your post into a couple of AI apps. Here's what I got...

No one can dispute the facts stated in this article. Two areas not covered, he has done more damage to the republican party than anyone in history including nixon. He has single-handedly given the democrats a platform and theme of we hate trump and that is our message. Of course there is no responsibility placed on president biden for the massive price hike suffered under his non leadership. Once prices rise by a huge amount they don't fall much if at all so prices will become the new norm.
Good work, Dave. I blog with a bookstore owner lady in Leelanau, PhD in Philosophy, does book reviews, grows flowers and takes pictures and very anti-Trump. Mrs. and I did early voting in Idaho last week - very active in the precincts already. Looking forward to the return on sanity,,,,,
Gee Skud, you were doing so well. And then, well, we all it would come up. But Biden...
Here's a few Covid inflation facts Skud will ignore, but which are relevant...
4 year cumulative [2021-2024] inflation rates of the 6 largest non-communist economies in the world:
India - 24.44% US - 23.87% UK - 21.99% Germany - 20.46% Italy - 20.30% France - 14.31%
What we see is that all of world's major economies suffered major inflation over the 4 year period. France turned out to have the lowest inflationary pressures.
But what we see when we look at the data, is that the US is not an outlier, but rather all major world economies suffered with inflation.
Now, I would argue that the US turned out pretty well among all those countries. No one was even close to the $5 trillion the US spent to keep consumers and businesses afloat during the pandemic.
If you zoom out from the individual family budget to look at the overall health of the nation, the United States, according to experts, data and analysis, has fundamentally outperformed every other major economy in the world.
According to the Wall Street Journal, certainly no liberal rag, "by opting for maximum generosity, the US bought itself the strongest post-pandemic economic engine in the developed world."
So yes Skud, Biden and Trump, brought the US higher inflation rates, because of US stimulus packages. But in so doing, they helped us avoid a much worse fate.
Now I know you will disagree with all of this. That's your right. But in so doing, what exactly would you have done differently regarding the economy during Covid in an attempt to keep world wide inflation from reaching the US?
Because criticism is just that, criticism. Tell us what we should have done?
Apparently in skud world view COVID never happened, the supply chain was never clogged due to stacked ships just waiting to get into port (closed by Trump), and the global economy didn't almost tank. According to skud the Biden admin never negotiated a soft landing for our country so that while prices were high everywhere else they weren't AS high here in the states. In fact skud has often commented negatively about the free cash the Biden admn handed out to citizens ignoring the fact that the first two payouts were under Trump.
And in the skud world view the Democratic candidates are running only on We Hate Trump instead of the message I've heard repeatedly which is get folks fed, get them off the streets, and make sure they have access to healthcare. Weird how skud's worldview hasn't resembled reality in quite a while. Perhaps it's all that MAGAsphere media they keep inhaling.
It's almost as if skud gives a pass to all things Trump and blames every Democrat in sight for things the Trump admin continues to get wrong. I'd say make it make sense but I'm not sure there remains any sense in the brain o' skud.
BIDEN?!?! Really? Biden? Statue of limitations has run out on the 'Biden' card. It really has. . When you whine and whimper try showing a bit of self-respect and dignity; accept responsibility for your own actions of voting FOR tRump. He is after all your president.
Never forget. When your president is gone YOU will ever carry with you the taint.
Dave, At least we were not in last place. Economics 101 teaches that prices are determined by .... supply and demand .... By biden restricting supply he increased demand and then gave billions so people could buy things that were in short supply causing massive inflation. Very few prices ever goes down and that is where we are. Lower percent increase on a higher price means higher prices. If you look further than the political side of the covid "stimulus" package you will see that the government did exactly what they do best. Give money away with few stipulations. I guess if you want to give credit for the recovery and soft landing you would have to credit trump, very difficult thing to do I know. He gave away 3 trillion while biden gave away 1.9 trillion.
Tough as it is for yellow dogs and MAGA's to do this but break a cycle and Vote Independent
