Julian Assange Plays Trump Supporters For Chumps

The TeaPublicans were all giddy with anticipation for the big, juicy news that would deliver a coup de grace to Hillary Clinton via Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.

What they got was a big NOTHING BURGER and played by WikiLeaks.  Now they're all mad as wet hens, claiming somehow the Klintoon Krime Konsortium was responsible, because it's always the Klintoon's fault when the TeaPublicans can't win against her -- it's always the Klintoons and not their gullibility to believe every piece of rumor and gossip, only to be shown how shallow and easily duped they are.

From The Washington Post:

Over the course of two hours Tuesday — with the world’s media and bleary-eyed Trump die-hards across the United States tuning in — Assange and other WikiLeaks officials railed against “neo-McCarthyist hysteria,” blasted the mainstream press, appealed for donations and plugged their books (“40 percent off!”).

But what they didn’t do was provide any new information about Clinton — or about anything else, really. The much-vaunted news conference, as it turned out, was little more than an extended infomercial for WikiLeaks on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its founding.

Assange, whose group released a trove of hacked Democratic National Committee documents on the eve of the party’s convention this summer, breezily dismissed the idea that anyone should have expected any news at his news conference.

Guarantee that rabies radio and Faux Snooze will be pushing the idea of fear of assassination and list everyone
from Vince Foster on. They are never at a loss for a chance to agitate "the base".

Speaking of bamboozles, this from the mothership:

"XXXXX, there is NO DOUBT IN MY MIND…she is the spitting image of Web Hubble. I know that’s gossipy, and silly freerepublic stuff, but this time I think that’s absolutely the truth.

XXXXX, doesn’t matter about the BIRTH, the CERTIFICATE…nothing. On record, at the hospital, everywhere, it’d be FATHER: BILL CLINTON. Doesn’t have to say anything else.
Gee, I feel a little cheap even talking about this, but LOOK AT CHELSEA! PUULLEEEZE!

(maybe that’s the OCTOBER SURPRISE!?) HA!!"

I'm past the point were I can dismiss the idea on a right wing blog that Webster Hubble is Chelsea Clinton's father as simply tongue in cheek.
Sagan is correct, they aren't going to regain their reasoned judgement.

Thanks for reporting. That's rich. Dervish posted a video of Megyn Kelly interviewing Assange a few weeks ago. You could just about hear her stomach growling.

Jane Allen has been fired from her job as a teacher's aide at the Forsyth County School System in Georgia.

A Georgia educator has been fired after Facebook posts repeatedly calling Michelle Obama a “gorilla.”

Jane Allen was a teacher's aide at Chestatee Elementary in Gainesville, northeast of Atlanta, when she posted a conservative news article about the First Lady taking vacations.

“This poor Gorilla. How is she going to function in the real world, by not having all of her luxurious vacations paid for anymore,” she said.

Next to an August article about Obama being one of the most admired women in the world, Allen said, “I admire a gorilla more that I admire her. (Wait I forgot, she is a gorilla)!”

Montana high school students wear ‘Trump 2016 White Pride’ shirts

Her Facebook page has been removed, though her comments were circulated on social media, by users calling them racist and questioning Allen’s ability to teach children.

The outcry ultimately led to a response from her bosses, who said on Monday that Allen had been fired.

“Effective Monday, Oct. 3, Jane Wood Allen has been relieved from duty and is no longer an employee of Forsyth County Schools,” her school district posted on Facebook.

“Racism and discrimination are not tolerated in our school district. We are committed to ongoing staff training on the acceptance of all indiv

It's so sad but definitely true! Nearly half of American voters who support either Democrat Hillary Clinton or Republican Donald Trump for the White House said they will mainly be trying to block the other side from winning, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released Thursday.

I personally think this speaks volumes. It clearly says that both sides agree they have nominated someone awful. I will largely defend the Democrats on this one - they only had three choices total (and two - Hillary and Bernie - are completely unelectable). Republicans have no excuses though. We had the best field in the history of the party, and even though liberals were showing up in droves to hijack the primary, if Republicans would have acted like true conservatives Trump wouldn't be the nominee.

What a sad statement about the U.S. The rest of the world must be laughing that both sides are only voting simply to block the other side, and not because they actually like their candidate.

I've heard that Assange wants Trump to be president. I also heard that this cancellation was due to "security concerns", so I assumed that it's simply put off until a later date (but before the voting day). So, not a "nothing burger", but a delayed burger. Although what he has could turn out to be a "nothing burger". We don't know yet. If he's going to release anything, and (if he does) how damaging it might be.

BTW, there were no comments here until I hit "submit" on mine. They must have just been approved... anyway, I see a comment from Ducky at the top. He recently asked me a question on another blog, but I was unable to answer because (1) that blogger only selectively publishes my comments, and (2) Ducky has no contact info in his profile. If he actually wants an answer to his question, I wrote one and posted it on my blog... here.

Wow. They're still spreading lies that were stupid in the '90s and are even more stupid today. What's with these silly people and their "birther" conspiracies? They also believe President Obama's father is Frank Marshall Davis -- well, they DO share the same skin color! And they're still gnawing on that old bone that Bill Clinton isn't Chelsea's real father? What sad people.

I hope they have mental health counselors on tap on election night. They're going to need professionals to talk them down off the ledges of their apartment buildings or from the second-floor windows of their homes.

Poor things.

"...Plays Trump Supporters For Chumps"

Not difficult to do since a Trump supporter is a chump by definition.

Hey Lauran,

So those bad old liberals showed up in droves to hijack your primaries? That must make you feel a lot better about your party. Clinton and Sanders unelectable? How so? They both had or still have distinguished careers in the U.S. Senate.

Funny thing is, you can't cast a sabotage vote without giving up your vote for your own choice for the presidential primary. What information do you have that indicates that vast droves of liberals gave up their voice in the democratic primaries to vote in Trump? I'd say that just about every liberal likely voter in the country who wasn't behind Clinton cast their vote for Bernie Sanders. Of course, I'm only guessing.

When Trump goes down in flames in a tailspin, then we will have a true picture of someone who is unelectable.

Just one more thing, Lauran. "We had the best field in the history of the party."

Do you stand by that assessment? Who did you like the best? My favorite republican was Gerald R. Ford or maybe Ike.

Yes, I saw that the rabid righties were foaming in anticipation of some new weapon to use against Hillary. Now, they're left standing looking stupid and steamed at Assange. LOL. Love it.
