More Nonsense from the Delusional Dotard

Donald Trump made 25 false claims in his latest New York Times interview

Trump made nearly one false claim per minute in the 30-minute interview in Florida on Thursday.

Trump to NY Times:

TRUMP:  We’re going to win another four years for a lot of reasons, most importantly because our country is starting to do well again and we’re being respected again."

TRUMP:  "But another reason that I’m going to win another four years is because newspapers, television, all forms of media will tank if I’m not there because without me, their ratings are going down the tubes."

Here's the American people's opinion on whom they trust more, cable, network news, and print media, or Trump. The American people trust cable, network news, and print media more than Trump, the Liar in Chief:

Who do trust more, Donald Trump or:

ABC. ABC, 54/36
CBS. CBS, 54/36
NBC. NBC, 54/36
New York Times. New York Times, 54/37
CNN. CNN, 52/37
Washington Post. Washington Post, 52/37

TRUMP:  "Without me, The New York Times will indeed be not the failing New York Times, but the failed New York Times."

TRUMP:  "So they basically have to let me win. And eventually, probably six months before the election, they’ll be loving me because they’re saying, 'Please, please, don’t lose Donald Trump.' O.K"

No, Donnie Dotard,  print and visual media don't "let" candidates for president "win." Print and visual media report what the POTUS says and does, and the people decide (without Russian influence, it is hoped).

What you call "fake news" is merely printing and reporting on the asinine things you say and do.  Y'know like the interview you just gave the other day to the New York Times.

On the Mueller investigation on Russia influencing the 2016 election and Trump's possible obstruction of justice:

TRUMP “I think it’s bad for the country. The only thing that bothers me about timing, I think it’s a very bad thing for the country. Because it makes the country look bad, it makes the country look very bad, and it puts the country in a very bad position. So the sooner it’s worked out, the better it is for the country.”

Translation from Dotardese to American English:

This is bad for me. Me. Me. Me. Screw the country. This is bad for me. Me. Me. Me. So the sooner it's worked out and my base forgets that I championed the felonious Michael Flynn and George Papadopolous and the indicted Paul Manaford and Richard Gates the better it is for me. Me. Me. Me.

It's there in all its arrogant, mendacious, wind-baggy, cognitive deteriorating glory by the lying Dotard-in-Chief.

Charlie Pierce of Esquire:

"[T]he president* exhibits the kind of stubbornness you see in patients when you try to relieve them of their car keys–or, as one social worker in rural North Carolina told me, their shotguns. For example, a discussion on health-care goes completely off the rails when the president* suddenly recalls that there is a widely held opinion that he knows very little about the issues confronting the nation. So we get this.

'But Michael, I know the details of taxes better than anybody. Better than the greatest C.P.A. I know the details of health care better than most, better than most. And if I didn’t, I couldn’t have talked all these people into doing ultimately only to be rejected.'

This is more than simple grandiosity. This is someone fighting something happening to him that he is losing the capacity to understand. So is this.

'We’re going to win another four years for a lot of reasons, most importantly because our country is starting to do well again and we’re being respected again. But another reason that I’m going to win another four years is because newspapers, television, all forms of media will tank if I’m not there because without me, their ratings are going down the tubes. Without me, The New York Times will indeed be not the failing New York Times, but the failed New York Times. So they basically have to let me win. And eventually, probably six months before the election, they’ll be loving me because they’re saying, “Please, please, don’t lose Donald Trump.” O.K.'

I was struck by President Dipstick's little quip about global warming as we go through a vicious cold snap.

It wasn't that pea brain can't understand a concept like aggregate temperature gains but his desire to drop heating assistance. Let 'em freeze.
Luckily congress might not cooperate but it's an example of how utterly uncaring an idiot he is.

Ducky, it's not the "uncaring" that is so troubling, it's his demented mind. What's left of it. He truly is grossly ignorant on very important subjects. His brag about knowing "bills" about health care and taxes better than anyone else reveals a truly deteriorating mind.

It's probably unkind to call him stupid when he's apparently suffering from some sort of mental deterioration. His interview with the NYTimes make that painfully evident.

AS someone who has seen how dementia can ravage a mind, it is getting more evident to me that Trump is covering for his losing grip on reality. Where are the responsible adults in the administration. They must see this happening in his day-to-day behavior. Whew!

I don’t think he understands the difference between the truth and a lie.

"It is plainly obvious from Trump’s words that this is not a man fit to be president, that he is not well or capable in some fundamental way. That is an uncomfortable thing to say, and so many prefer not to say it, but Trump does not occupy a job where such deficiencies can be safely ignored."

Things to be thankful for 2017. The disintegration of the Stench Trench a/k/a WYD. Its dying a slow death. Good riddance to it and the dumbasses who support it.

@ Anonymous... The Stench Trench, aka WYD, serves a useful purpose. 1) It reinforces for us the right of freedom of speech, and 2) it shows us there are those who would be among the first to limit free speech and welcome authoritarianism as long as it met their ideological approval.
