General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."
Let's not forget the payments to farmers being hurt by tariffs... Isn't that picking winners? Isn't government putting their hands on the scales of the market akin to socialism?
Weren't these things roundly criticized by the wingnuts when they happened during the Obama Admin?
Dave, that is why we ridicule the current members of the current GOP. They've abandoned whatever values or standards they had all for what they believe a packed SCOTUS will deliver to them.
“For what profits a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul”
They've become those who've lost their "souls" or, as I like to put it, they've lost their humanity. And they lost it when they decided that an immoral con man and fraud was their moral savior.
Today Ayn Rand would be a liberal. Oh wait, in as much as she criticized liberal "irrationality" she acknowledged that given the choice between liberals and conservatives of the day liberals were the lesser of two evils.
My apologies for mentioning Ayn Rand but I couldn't resist. Hope you understand why :-)
