Ah, my avatar is back for Election Day!

We have a well liked Republican governor like MA. In a normal year I’d vote for him but I’m voting for the Democratic challenger because of Trump. We also get to vote for a County Executive. I basically don’t like the Democrat running and would have voted for the independent but this is not a normal year and I’m holding my nose and voting for the Democrat because of Trump.

possumlady, it's understandable. The message is being sent to the Republicans.

I hope Democrats win back majority, including those they are not expected to.
I will not be voting for the Democrat in my district. The man has 30 criminal convictions. I will not vote for another crooked politician and certainly not just because he is a Democrat.
Those who have advised me to vote for this man just because he is a Democrat, forget it. If you want to have nothing else to do with me because of my vote, so be it.
I have always voted my conscience (including voting for a few Republicans) and will continue to do so.

Voted BLUE today and the place was jammed! All the folks I talked to were voting straight Dem ticket. One guy voting Dem first time in his life. He's 60 y.o.

Good for you Jerry. Voting for a crook/criminal just because he/she is a democrat would make us NO different than the folks who voted for tRump just because he isn't a democrat. tRump is a "man" who lies, cheats, and steals. As well as his many other character flaws.

I'll be voting for Charlie Baker for MA Governor again. A fine republican who is everything tRump is NOT. As a protest vote aimed at tRump AND the GOP I'll be voting straight blue for all other open seats. The Senate and House at the federal level needs to turn blue to fight the tRumpian agenda.

Maybe we can return to the obama years demonizing success, promoting free stuff instead of opportunities and making welfare a career choice once again.
Never vote for the best candidate but instead vote for your party of choice.
Lets get back to republicans being greedy bastards and democrats being groups of victims.
The democrats have done a great job of making this mid term about Trump and not about the issues so they deserve a win.

Rhode Island. The last time Rhode Island voted for a Republican was in 1984 when it gave its electoral votes to Reagan. Hillary beat Trump by 16% in 2016, so R.I. is a blue state but it does have Republican voters.

I'm in Minnesota, the 8th district.
It's sad the Democratic party decided to nominate and support such a poor candidate.
I voted for the Independent candidate.
I voted for Democrats in all the other races I could vote for.

skudrunner, Let's talk about Trump wanting to fundamentally change the US Constitution. Did't the Goopers lose their shyte when they misheard Mr. Obama? You are very good at ignoring the damage and devastation Trump is doing to this country. And your whining about what President Obama did is pathetic. While Mr. Obama was president, America was not laughed at. Americans were not as divided as we are today, and America did not have a corrupt, lying, immoral pig representing us.

This mid-term IS about the corrupt, lying, immoral pig and his inability to lead this country. He's been a colossal failure who's benefitted from the good job his predecessor did with the economy.

Here's the ridiculous man-child the GOP admires:

In Missouri last night Trump claimed that if Democrats are elected they’ll destroy Obamacare.

Only idiots would fall for a LIE as BIG as that. Only idiots who choose to forget how many times the Goopers voted to repeal Obamacare would fall for Trump's shameful dishonesty. Only idiots would not stop and think about how mendacious Trump is in saying such utter claptrap. The ACA and its coverage for pre-existing conditions was passed by the Democrats. It would take a brain-damaged person to believe the corrupt demagogue Trump saying the Democrats want to take it away. But Trump has said himself that telling lies to justify the ends is perfectly okay to get the job done. Trump's life has been a lie.

And the Xtian Evangelicals are fine with that -- also with his serial adultery.

He represents them. Never forget that.

Sorry Ray but I cancelled you out today.

Ray Cranston said...

No need to apologize, Anon. I brought my better half, my wife with me, plus I gave a ride to w elderly neighbors, and my adult kids (4) all of these people voted for the Dems. You may have cancelled my vote but not the 7 others.

Have a nice blue evening!
