New Hampshire MAGApublicans went for the sexual assaulter/rapist, tax fraud, and 91 felony count candidate!

Nice going “family values” voters!

As someone who lives in New England, we generally don't buy the shit show and we don't appreciate the crude manners. I am not surprised Haley is doing better than what was originally thought.

Trump threatened in his rambling incoherent speech that if Nikki Haley doesn't drop out, she'll end up under investigation for "stuff she doesn't want to talk about"

Trump is a despicable piece of human trash.

Uh-oh.

“Fox News Chief Political Analyst Brit Hume was not impressed with Trump’s win in NH:

“If you think of him as an incumbent, this showing tonight’s weak, right? I mean, he should be doing better. And it’s also a sign of weakness that the independents and others who voted in this primary were… not welcomed by the Trump campaign and by a lot of his supporters…

There’s weakness there with Trump. There’s no doubt about it even if wins, you know, easily and going away. Look, he lost in 2020. His candidates lost in 2022. I mean, he has a lot of losses on his book.”

Donald Trump suffered another frightening cognitive moment on Monday night, incoherently rambling and baffling voters as he slurred, “We are an institute in a powerful death penalty.”

The two top contenders for president are not mentally stable or mentally cognoscente enough to hold the office. We need to do better and although Nikki didn't beat don sh put a hole in his bucket. One of the problems facing the nation is if trump loses the nomination he will run as an independent assuring joey b the victory so we lose if he wins and lose if he loses. Maybe the dems will come to their senses and nominate a respectable candidate.

Trump is celebrated his victory in New Hampshire last night by publicly attacking Nikki Haley for refusing to drop out, criticizing her outfit, implying she would be under investigation if she did win, going after his former White House press secretary and privately inquiring about why Haley didn’t get out of the race last night.

Trump lacks even basic humanity. No graciousness in his victory, all the malignant narcissist knows is slash and burn anyone who dares to oppose him.

The cultists who vote for and support this terrible human must see a lot of those horrible qualities in themselves. Every decent human being I know loathes this poor excuse for a pile of flesh.

It's a sad state our Country is in that our hope to save the democracy we all claim to cherish is Trump winning the nomination.
Looking at the facts Joe Biden has been a damn good president. Yet like Hillary Clinton, he is the victim of false propaganda that has made him difficult to reelect against anyone but Trump.
I hope Haley stays in the race though. Not that she has a chance, the reason is there's a slight chance, maybe a good chance, that Trump won't make it to run in November. Either his addled confusion when making his silly speeches, or the wheels of justice are sped up and he's convicted of his crimes. Haley drops out I have no doubt the repubs would name someone just as kooky as Trump they can create a false impression of being a moderate that would fool the independents into voting for.

The GOP race is over, the party of Lincoln has capitulated.

The policies of Reagan no longer mean anything to the current GOP. In today's GOP, personal insults, criticism of you appearance, mocking of disabled people, dissing US war heroes and calling the people who beat police and as a result are in jail, hostages, is your GOP.

The party of family values has elected a man who even in victory, cannot be gracious and resorts to lies and attacks.

Here was the most telling moment last night...

Senator Tim Scott who ran against Trump and has now endorsed him, was standing behind him. Scott blurted out to Trump "I love you!". To which Trump said, "He's a good politician!"

That attitude, of being a good politician, is exactly what the chattering classes of the GOP said they hated in our leaders.

But now, the family values voters want a a man who cheats on his wife, pays off porn stars, says he can grab pu**ies whenever he wants, lies repeatedly and tells his political opponents to "ROT IN HELL".

Pretty amazing years long capitulation.

Trump is suffering greatly. Deep inside himself he knows he is hated by far more people than support him. He knows he lost in 2020 and he knows he's a loser as a human being. He actually probably hates himself for his anti social behavior and that merely drives him to engage more energetically in his habit energies.

Trump is not just suffering from early stage dementia he has lost touch with actually reality and now resides completely in the mental world he has created for himself. A world in which he sees himself as king and saviour of this nation.

Trump is a very sick "man" and needs serious psychological analysis and intensive counseling. But his extreme narcissism will never allow him to seek out the help he is in serious need of.

Here's how WIll Saletan, no Dem lover, puts it, describing Trump voters and his win over Haley last night...

"Most rank-and-file Republicans deny the results of the 2020 election [without proof, I might add...] and are willing to support a convicted criminal for president."

Our NPR station, WGBH Boston, runs a talk show every day from 11 AM to 2 PM.

One of the hosts, Marjorie Egan, said this morning that she did some interviews with Trump supporters on Tuesday morning, asking if they're comfortable voting for a man who was found liable for sexual assault/rape.

Most of the Trumpers she asked had NEVER HEARD OF THAT!

The far right media keeps their people uninformed and therefore ignorant of the crimes committed by Trump, so his cultists truly believe he's being unfairly targeted by the left.

The ignorant (y'know, people who actually believe Trump when he tells them the 2020 election was stolen) will remain that way, and that's exactly what the far right media aims for.

Keep 'em stupid, and they'll vote for Trump.

Skud, you may be right about Trump and an independent bid for the presidency. Because he needs to be president to delay, obfuscate or end the scutiny of his White House crime spree.
