I used to think that lying was a big deal since it's on the Big 10 items the GOP wants to post on government buildings and public schools. Figured when I caught one of my honored adversaries in a whopper it meant I won the argument.
Imagine my surprise when I was informed the Big 10 really meant you couldn't tell falsehoods to another Christian, meaning lying in the name of Jesus to heathens is considered just fine and dandy. Funny thing though, I don't remember any asterisks or foot note markings anywhere in the Christian holy book saying such a thing. Still hasn't stopped the liars for continuing to lie. Their conversation with their deity when they die is going to be interesting, that's all I'll say about that!!! (as I giggle into my tissue because I remember the deity which the Christian holy book claims created life, the universe and everything doesn't have a sense of humor.)
The fact is Grey One talks sass, and you probably know this, the RCC bastardized the teachings of Jesus so as to insure the Church maintained pplotical power as well as spiritual power at that time in history.
The Christian church was founded on the desires of an ego driven desire for control over the lives of all. And it still is so today.
Any wonder why the lies and continued lying in the name of Jesus? The carpenter's out of wedlock son?
