Authoritarian rule in the US?

 

We're already there.

The Chairman of the FCC has replaced his American flag pin with a Mao-like profile of Trump. 

Imagine if former presidents Biden or Obama had any of their cabinet appointees wearing this symbol of allegiance to a man and not one's country. 

This is how authoritarians operate. Trump has already altered what America stands for, and his lackeys are wearing the idolatrous pin to show their allegiance to a corrupt con man and not their country. We're in North Korean-style deification of the Dear Leader territory now with this worship of an unworthy egomaniac and scoundrel.

Mao and Kim Jong Un would be proud of Trump!

What is astounding is that so many of Trump's besotted cultists never stop to think about the man they're idolizing: A corrupt twice impeached president, a serial adulterer, a convicted felon facing 34 more felon charges, an adjudicated sexual assaulter who defamed his victim and was fined $83 million. A malignant narcissist, liar, cheat, and fraud whose cupidity is unbounded.

This is idolatry on meth. And it's dangerous.

Never forget the people who support this stain on America, our once respected country.

The man whose image is on the left appears to be a sniveling little toady, 

sucking up to power and corruption.

No patriotic American president would permit this fetishizing of his image over the American flag. But Trump is no patriot. He's the opposite, and I'm sick to my stomach to understand that the people who are in power now, thanks to Trump's appointments, have no idea of how their treachery looks to those of us who are not under the spell of the trumpery that has infected their brains.
