"The Holocaust Encyclopedia defines a concentration camp as follows:
What distinguishes a concentration camp from a prison (in the modern sense) is that it functions outside of a judicial system. The prisoners are not indicted or convicted of any crime by judicial process.
That’s not a historical footnote—it’s a warning.
And today, it’s happening again.
Mahmoud Khalil was here legally.
Rumeysa Ozturk was here legally.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia was here legally.
Yet they are all detained, disappeared, or deported without trial, without conviction, without any due process. Languishing in government ordered confinement, their incarceration can only be described as a Concentration Camp.
Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to fight for his release. He discovered something that should horrify every American: El Salvador admits Kilmar committed no crime, that they have no evidence that he committed any crime—and the U.S. government is paying El Salvador to keep him locked away. This despite the US Supreme Court ruling 9-0 that Garcia should be returned to the United States immediately.
This is a Constitutional Crisis of the highest order. An American president is defying a direct order from the U.S. Supreme Court.
He’s sending innocent people—legal immigrants—to foreign black sites and demanding other governments build more camps to detain more people.
Caught on a hot mic last week, Trump remarked to El Salvador's president to build at least five more of these facilities because
Trump wants to send “home grown” people there soon. That’s not immigration policy. That’s not national security.
That is fascism. And yes—those are concentration camps."
I refuse to believe these are "accidental" letters. These are malicious attempts to move the Overton window to normalize fascism against US Citizens. MAGA regime has successfully demonized legal residents enough to pass legislation denying them due process. Citizens who speak out are next. Mark it.

Nicole Micheroni, an immigration attorney and U.S. citizen born and raised in Massachusetts, has not heard from the Department of Homeland Security since it told her to leave the country.
A Massachusetts immigration lawyer who is a US-born American citizen is speaking out after she received an email from Trump administration immigration authorities telling her she needed to leave the country.
Nicole Micheroni described receiving an email on 11 April – and that its heading was “notice of termination of parole”.
“It is time for you to leave the United States,” the email read. “If you do not depart the United States immediately you will be subject to potential law enforcement actions that will result in your removal from the United States.”

It will be interesting to see how soon -FJ, Joe Conservative, Thersites, skud, et all troll in to attempt explaining and justifying the criminal Trump's actions.
If anything it is the criminal Trump that is the nation's top domestic terrorist.
I got deported from Japan in 1977. I don't remember any trial or hearing. They simply walked me on to a 747 to SFO and closed the doors.
Is this a concentration camp?
I really should resent the Japanese for detaining me in that hospital and attempting to perform medical experiment on me. they wanted to sew my finger together. What kind of sicko Dr. Mengele's were they?
Whatever happened to you, and you left this comment here without any background or explanation of what it refers to, has zero to do with the Trump administration breaking the law and sending a man to a concentration camp in a foreign country without due process. What don't you understand about that? And why do you avoid the truth?
Whatever happened to you has ZERO to do with what the American government, under Donald J. Trump in 2025 did to Garcia. Trump broke the law. What he did is being litigated in the courts.
Your experiences, while disturbing, do not change the fact that Trump is a criminal president and he broke the law by sending Garcia and other to a concentration camp without due process.
Au contraire, I speak from authority. Have you ever been deported? How can you even credibly comment on the subject?
Trump isn't breaking any laws. He's simply applying old laws to new situations, like the Biden DoJ did to Trump. It's Lawfare Round 2, with the Trump DoJ scouring the lawbooks for old loopholes.
FOTUS admin just got spanked by the 4th Circuit court of appeals as they tried to circumnavigate a decision they didn't want to follow. From an unanimous decision from the three judge panel, "We shall not micromanage the efforts of a fine district judge attempting to implement the Supreme Court's recent decision." Ha!
We haven't won the war but we are winning this battle. At the same time we are forcing the FOTUS ever closer to an inevitable Constitutional crisis showdown. I mean, we've been walking that path, tearing down every warning sign for the past three months so many knew this was coming. It's just, when you face that which you thought could never happen, well, it changes a person, that's all.
So, SCOTUS tells the FOTUS that Kilar Abrago Garcia must be brought back into the states for due process. If there is evidence that he is a gang member that can be handled in court and that's a huge if based on who was doing the accusing (compromised LEO).
No wonder the many faced troll is so whataboutism - is Japan the USA troll? Please explain how what happened to you has anything to do with immigration here in the USA???? I'd have sympathy if you'd phrased it differently but your compare these cherries to this road apple, aren't they both fruit? Yeah, talk about a man tantrum.
FOTUS steps in the poo he alone created and your bright idea was to mansplain, gaslight, and bring out the most lame routine of goal post moving I've ever witnessed. Honestly I'm embarrassed for you as I could feel your IQ points dropping with every word you typed.
Added note to the crap sandwich - the Alt Natl Park group on FB gave us all a heads up. Apparently DOGE already has a lot WeThePeople's data, gathered from the multiple institutions they pillaged. Shortly after DOGE did it's thing at one agency files from servers started to disappear. There was a whistle blower who gathered their evidence to take to Congress. There doesn't look like there will be much of an investigation as intimidation is involved, like pictures of the whistleblower walking their dog taken from a drone kind of intimidation. Also mentioned in the post was weird activity on the servers as hackers gained access to USA sites using active user ID's and passwords.
I still don't understand how this isn't classified as a hostile takeover of our country.
And even if Congress impeaches and removes the president (doubtful but there is lots of criming going on) there still remains his cabinet of Project 2025 authors and advocates. WeThePeople aren't fighting one person but a cabal of NatC's who really want to recreate the USA in their own image.
Not on my watch.
Someone failed their basic One of these things is not like the other class. And yet they claim a high IQ. High opinion of themselves, that's for sure.
It's sad our many faced troll was deported. Perhaps it needs to happen again? I don't know, just asking the question, as they like to say.
Whatever happened to you has no bearing on the fact that the Trump administration deported a legal migrant without due process. Anymore of your anecdotal fallacies will not be published because your experiences have no bearing on what Trumps goons did to Garcia.
I have just as much right as anyone to comment on this subject.
Thanks for the heads-up on this. I will read the details now. I was on a long call with my daughter who lives on the west coast, and is 3 hours difference, so we catch up when she’s finished work.
As expected the troll(s) deflect from the issue of the post.
There is absolutely nothing to excuse or justify the criminality FOTUS.
Complete B.S. The judges handling this case will have the final say, and what they said today comports with what I and other Americans who care about following the Constitution have said:
"The panel also took issue with the White House’s repeated efforts to describe Mr. Abrego Garcia as a gang member and a terrorist, effectively dismissing the accusations as a sideshow irrelevant to the central issue in the case: that a man had been wrongfully deported to a foreign prison and the administration that made the error had essentially washed its hands of him. “ 'The government asserts that Abrego Garcia is a terrorist and a member of MS-13,' the panel wrote. 'Perhaps, but perhaps not. Regardless, he is still entitled to due process.' ”
I don't know what reality you live in, but it isn't one where the American Constitution is law.
You. Are. Wrong. Again.
Grey, Shaw, ey al... have you noticed the subtle shift Pres Trump has made regarding this? He's now saying he's totally uninvolved in it and will wait and see how it plays out. Adding he said, he was "elected to get these ppl out".
The deportation of ppl here illegally is indeed perhaps THE issue that got him elected. But note the tone in the above.
He's distancing himself, reading the tea leaves and knows a legal slap down is coming from the SCOTUS and likely, more Federal Courts. Next will be the "I said sir" comments.
If the White House thought they had a winning hand and the evidence to support it, they'd be in court proactively arguing their case. They are not. And neither are any of their trolls and MAGA fans.
To quote Dandy Don Meredith from the early days of Monday Night Football, "Turn out the lights, the party's over". We just have to make it through one more stanza or two.
SCotUS already ruled. Facilitate not effectuate. Nothing in their ruling about "foreign concentration camps". If it had, the ruling would have stated to "effectuate" his return.
He got "due process"... the process for people ILLEGALLY in the US.
Now the $$$ 'genius' wants to fire the FTC commissioner, whose job it is to maintain fiscal stability. World Depression -Biden's fault. We are the laughing
stock of the world.
Garcia is NOT illegally in the US. You're WRONG again.
Garcia has never been convicted or charged with a crime and in 2019, a judge in Maryland granted him a "withholding of removal" status. That allowed him to legally work and live in the U.S. He was granted a work permit by the Department of Homeland Security and lived and worked in Maryland up until his deportation.
Nope. The latest ruling by the judge refutes that. You're obfuscating this with definitions of words. No more.
Boasberg is a higher legal authority than SCotUS? Who knew?
I'll defer to DoJ on that issue. He was "temporarily" permitted to stay in the US legally, but he was both an acknowledged "illegal immigrant" AND terrorist gang member subject to expedited deportation as such.
