General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."
They're on the losing side of this movement, and they know it. I was on Boston Common today. The crowds were polite, respectful, and LOUD! The young people were brave and amazing.'
The NRA leadership (not the membership, who actually support sensible gun control), is afraid now because we have a considerable movement going, and we won't let it go.
Anonymous, you are very wrong. There were plenty of righties at the march on Boston Common. This isn't a Democrat or Republican issue, it's an American issue. You seem to relish dividing Americans.
In another NRA TV clip posted Thursday, Noir had harangued the Parkland survivors, saying “no one would know your names” if someone with a gun had stopped the shooting at their school.
“These kids ought to be marching against their own hypocritical belief structures,” Noir said, adding: “The only reason we’ve ever heard of them is because the guns didn’t come soon enough.”
Pretty much as Dave stated. The same mocking tone we can expect from the preznit. The task of deconstructing the myths behind American gun culture is formidable. However. the generation coming up doesn't seem swated by NRA rhetoric.
Maybe the GOP and their minions should just shut up... here’s what Rick Santorum had to say about the marches yesterday.
”How about kids instead of looking to someone else to solve their problem, do something about maybe taking CPR classes or trying to deal with situations that when there is a violent shooter that you can actually respond to that?”

RN, who do you refer to?
... right wing extremist conservatives... .
Oh, and the leadership of the NRA.
I'm surprised you had to ask. But I guess my original statement could be considered a bit ambiguous. I hope I've cleared up any ambiguity.
The NRA has finally checked in
