The Corrupt and Chaotic Trump

This is the guy the Goopers admire and continue to support:

Sam Nunberg Warns Trump: ‘I Could Make His Life Terrible If I Wanted To’

Sam Nunberg has issued a pointed warning to President Donald Trump, saying that he would not tolerate any attempt by the White House to publicly disparage him. 'He should just be careful,' the former Trump campaign aide told TheWrap Monday night after a series of odd TV interviews in which he vowed to defy a subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller. 'I could make his life terrible if I wanted to.' ”

Stormy Daniels ready to go on the record about alleged Trump affair

"The lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels said she engaged in a sexual relationship with Donald Trump in 2006 and claims there’s 'no question' the president knew about a $130,000 payoff to keep her quiet."

[snip]

"Daniels has said she met Trump at a celebrity golf tournament in July 2006 in Lake Tahoe, Nev., and they began a sexual relationship that lasted into the next year. The tryst happened just months after Melania Trump gave birth to their son Barron."

Trump spoke to witnesses about matters they discussed with Special Counsel

Trump asked White House Counsel Donald F. McGahn to lie about a New York Times article published in January.

NYTimes:

"An adviser to the United Arab Emirates with ties to current and former aides to President Trump is cooperating with the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, and gave testimony last week to a grand jury, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Mr. Mueller appears to be examining the influence of foreign money on Mr. Trump’s political activities and has asked witnesses about the possibility that the adviser, George Nader, funneled money from the Emirates to the president’s political efforts."

Meanwhile, the Goopers are ignoring the shyte storm of news coming out of the WH and being reported by the NYTimes and WaPo, because, like their hero, they believe it's all fake news.

Good.

Let them ignore the avalanche of allegations so that when Mueller finally ends the criminal investigation into the corrupt Trump regime, maybe it'll wake them the hell up.

Or not.

They’re ignoring this stuff Shaw because in their minds this was all to be expected by the long entrenched faux conservatives, libtards and the deep state.

Ppl are leaving the WH? Good riddance, they were fighting the Pres anyways.

Trade wars? Others have been screwing America for decades.

Corporations getting rich? Look, they’re hiring American workers, of course we should help them.

Ppl are homeless? Let them get a job in this new economy.

Corruption? It just looks that way to the idiots.

He lied in his campaign? He did what he had to do to get elected! And thank God he did.

Shaw... I posted my other comment from my phone where I was unable to see your picture. That pic is searing indictment of many Trump supporters who are also evangelical Christians.

Most are unable, or unwilling to see any daylight between the words of James Dobson's condemnation of Bill Clinton's foibles and Trump's. Here are Dobson's words... "...character DOES matter. You can’t run a family, let alone a country, without it. How foolish to believe that a person who lacks honesty and moral integrity is qualified to lead a nation and the world! Nevertheless, our people continue to say that the President is doing a good job even if they don’t respect him personally. Those two positions are fundamentally incompatible. In the Book of James the question is posed, “Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring” (James 3:11 NIV). The answer is no."

Somehow those words, which many evangelicals prided themselves on trotting out in regards to Pres Clinton no longer matter.

Now I can hear those that claim, like Evangelical leader Jerry Falwell and others, that we're electing a President, not a pastor, and to a certain extent, that is true. However, they never said that before Trump. Evangelical leaders for years have been saying "character matters"... until now.

The question the evangelical voter must answer to regain credibility with many Americans is why the change? Why did character matter, as former Reagan Cabinet Member Bill Bennet and even El Rushbo thundered for years in opposition to Bill Clinton but now suddenly it does not?

Young people in America see right through this obfuscation. They see evangelicals essentially selling their moral soul to get the outcome they desire from a craven politician. And they see that the principles that they've heard from their parents mouths and the churches they've attended for years only seem to matter when there is a crass Democrat in office, not when there is crass Republican in office.

Lying in office, cheating on multiple wives, divorce, supporting racist views, claiming there are many good people in a group of committed Nazis, you name it... all of that deserves a "mulligan" in the words of one Evangelical leader.

And maybe so... if someone can explain why no mulligans were offered for any Democrat ever when they stumbled.

Dave, it's called moral rot. If Trump's character doesn't matter to the people who claimed it DID matter when Clinton was president and to people like our friend, skud, who regularly denigrates Mr. Obama, a true family values Christian, then nothing matters.

It's obvious that Trump has no moral or ethical values. How do the Evangelicals reconcile that with all they believe in? What do they tell their children? Do they hold Trump up as a role model to be? Do they tell their children that they should aspire to grow up to be just like DJT?

We know the answer to that.

The trumpdupes do not believe Barack Obama was "a true family values Christian". They're still convinced he was (and is) an America betraying Muslim.

Hopefully, Nunberg will be COMPELLED to make Trump's life terrible. Mueller probably has the emails that Nunberg didn't want to turn over. And he knows what questions to ask. If Nunberg lies he'll be charged, then be offered a plea to tell the truth. He'll tell the truth one way or another. Or go to prison. Either his or Trump's life will be terrible (possibly both). I'll be satisfied with Trump's life being terrible. To go down in the history books as the MOST corrupt president ever? His descendants might change their last name.

shaw, does the Times story concerning UAE money have anything to do with Qatar refusing to finance Kushner's real estate balloon payment and being boycotted by UAE. Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
I believe he was peddling access in return for a bailout of bad real estate investments. That's how the Lord Dampnut administration conducts foreign policy.

That's also their morals.

Scorecard here, get your scorecard.
Can't tell the grifters apart without a scorecard.

Dervish, that link to WYD as an example of Goopers' opinion of Obama is like going to Info Wars for an opinion on Hillary Clinton. WYD is not a serious political blog; it's a group of Trumpistas engaging in mutual gratification. What they thibk of President Obama is not worth a warm bucket of spit.

Mueller will have the last word on Trump's criminal regime.

Ducky, evidence is pointing to Kushner's influence peddling to anyone who could bail out his failed real estate deals. He's like his father and father-in-law, shady, corrupt, and greedy.

The Republican Party used to be the party of family values now they're the party of their president screwing porn stars while his 3rd wife gives birth, then paying the porn stars off to be silent. What a joke.
