Glee Violet:

"The Pardon Watch starts now"

Analysts smell 'witness tampering' as Trump DOJ meets with and interviews Ghislaine Maxwell over Epstein. (Raw Story)

"Trump's Justice Department played a new card in the exploding Jeffrey Epstein case scandal on Tuesday morning, with Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche both announcing they would be questioning Ghislaine Maxwell.

"Justice demands courage," Blanche wrote in his announcement on X, adding, "I intend to meet with [Maxwell] soon. No one is above the law — and no lead is off-limits."

"But the timing of the announcement, coupled with longstanding knowledge that Trump himself used to be friends with Epstein, has spurred a more sinister theory from some political and legal observers on social media: that administration officials are moving to secure Maxwell's silence, or maybe even offer her a presidential pardon, something Trump biographer Michael Wolff alleged he has considered in the past.

"Now the Trump DOJ is rushing to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell to try to find out what she knows. Not suspicious [at] all," wrote the liberal news and podcasting network Meidas Touch.

"Ghislaine Maxwell Pardon Watch starts now," wrote Bulwark reporter Will Sommer.

"They are going to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell in exchange for her silence on what she knows about Trump and Jeffrey Epstein," wrote New York health care activist Melanie D'Arrigo. "The coverup will continue, and the Trump administration will rewrite the entire official story, release it, and treat it as fact. Pay attention."

"It is a near certainty that what the Deputy AG is planning to do in this meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell would best be described as witness tampering," wrote former federal prosecutor and district court clerk Elizabeth de la Vega.

She is not an idiot and won't say anything unless she has a deal because she will be admitting she was involved.
The list that doesn't exist will suddenly appear and there will be a lot of embarrassed people some will be politicians and some son of politician.
The dems think this will embarrass trump but it is public knowledge he was involved and he doesn't embarrass easily but some others might.

Why would the convicted felon grab em by the p*ssy rapist and Putin puppet feel 'embarrassed'?

Hard to tell when Trump is embarrassed. All that make up.

Even with all the makeup he's looking awfully peaked (a word to describe when illness is displayed upon ones entire being). And what's up with the sores on his fingers? Ew. Did he grab the curling iron by the iron?

That and the FOTUS has no shame.

So why do you think that is, Les? Didn't the Cultural Left "shame" the Right into electing Trump? If the Left had any humility, Kamala would have been elected president. They had to "end racism through anti-racism". And so Trump is president.

Trump won for many reasons. And one of them was NOT the "cultural left" shaming anyone. What bosh!

Sometimes it appears Joe Con comes out after -FJ has downed a few drinks.
But of course the authoritarian bullshit is the same.

I've lost count of the number of times I pointed out the authoritarian/sociopath nature of -FJ/JC/Thersites.

As I've also stated, we know far more about them than they do about us. Why is that? One reason is an open mind is naturally more curious, while MAGAts think they have all the answers.

Here's another study at Science Direct that substantiates my points about them: (No wonder MAGAts HATE academic research. It studies THEM.)

Malevolent vs. benevolent dispositions and conservative political ideology in the Trump era

Craig S. Neumann, Darlene A. Ngo
Department of Psychology, University of North Texas

Highlights

Conservative political ideology represented by symbolic and operational ideology and positive view of Trump

Psychopathic traits and malevolent disposition predicted increased conservative political ideology

Benevolent disposition predicted decreased conservative ideology--i.e., more liberal ideology

Those viewing Trump favorably reported elevated malevolent and reduced benevolent dispositions, and less empathy

Abstract
Conservative political ideology is associated with social dominance orientation (SDO), right-wing authoritarianism (RWA), psychopathic propensities (PPs), and other malevolent dispositions, and reduced empathy. We examined the links between SDO, RWA, PPs and political ideology, and whether those who view Trump favorably reported higher PPs (or malevolent traits) and reduced empathy or benevolent dispositions. Two U.S. community samples were used; Sample 1 was white vs. minority status men (N = 1000, 32 % minority) and Sample 2 contained men and women (N = 8,047; 45 % male). Structural equation modeling was utilized to represent ideology in terms of right- vs. left-leaning orientation on social and economic issues, including participants’ views of Trump. Malevolent (+) and benevolent (−) dispositions and empathy disturbances were significantly linked with conservative ideology.

Introduction
Donald Trump has radically reshaped the nature of U.S. conservativism (Barber & Pope, 2019), moving the GOP toward authoritarianism (Knuckey & Hassan, 2022) and political unrest such as the January 6th (J6) assault at the United States Capitol (Dugan & Fisher, 2023). The J6 event was planned and targeted violence for political gain (Dugan & Fisher, 2023) with most Americans viewing Trump as responsibile (Gramlich, 2022). His role in J6, a litany of business failures (Hiltzik, 2022) and legally adjudicated cases against him (Graham, 2025) would destroy most politicians, yet some people view Trump favorably. His popularity can be understood in part via the links between conservative political ideology with right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation (de Oliveira Santos and Jost, 2024, Womick et al., 2019). However, the shifting sands of conservativism in the U.S. suggests that other factors may also be at play. Using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach, we examined whether dispositions reflecting malevolent (aversive) features and the relative absence of benevolent (affiliative) features and empathy were associated with conservative ideology and views of Trump.1

JC gets it. Authoritarians have no sense of shame, benevolence, or humility.
Loyalty to the Fuhrer is their absolute value.
