Are Trump's Core Supporters Really That Dumb?

Sadly, yes!

Trump Supporters Cry Bias After NPR Tweets the Declaration of Independence

"NPR tweeted the entire Declaration of Independence in 140-character chunks yesterday to celebrate Independence Day. But more than a few people thought that the tweets were a political stance against Donald Trump. Seriously."

Some of his supporters even called the Declaration of Independence "trash."

Replying to
Seriously, this is the dumbest idea I have ever seen on twitter. Literally no one is going to read 5000 tweets about this trash.

Jefferson's failed libtard whining about equality and human rights cannot compare with Trump's soaring poetic eloquence on Joe and Mika. Sad!

Infidel753, the DoI's references to tyrants hit a bit too close to home for the Trumpistas.

The people who pound their chests the hardest about "Murika!" know the least about her history, including our Tweeter-in-Chief, President 30 Percent.

Spectacular fail...

And nary a word from the right about how stupid people uninformed about politics and history can be. Probably because it reflects badly on them.

And here's the quote of the day from the extremist faction of conservative America...

"While obama was in office he made himself and the US the laughing stock of the world."

Absolutely no understanding of how the majority of the world now views Pres Trump. Because to do so would burst their collective closed I won't accept any opposing facts or viewpoints bubble.

Interesting times we live in...

Little snowflake Donnie insisted on stopping in Poland first in his foreign trip because Polands leaders promis d him crowds wouldn't boo him. Like the crowds will in Western Europe. There are very few countries he can go to that don't hate him. He's the laughing stock of the planet. Few countries respect him. Unlike when Obama was POTUS and America had respect. That's what America gets for putting an orange baboon in the White House.

President Obama was respected and popular around the world. He conducted himself with intelligence and dignity. I sure do miss him.

Gosh, the dumbing down of America is true, it has been in process for some time. And, the ones who have been most vocal are the very ones most dumbed down. Call it the self fulfilling prophecy.

Dave, I'll see your quote and raise with the mothership's reaction to the North Korean situation:

"I know there’s no way to do anything that’s not going to harm or kill millions…I just don’t think it’s worth America being so careful that it happens to us first."

Strap in.

L.A. Times editorial board:

"But military action could be disastrous, leading to war on the Korean peninsula and the death of thousands of people. As the president’s military advisors will surely tell him, even “surgical” airstrikes designed to destroy North Korea’s nuclear weapons probably would trigger retaliation by the North against South Korea, using conventional weapons already amassed on the border. Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis has warned that the result “would be probably the worst kind of fighting in most people’s lifetimes.”

Trump is speaking like a belligerant know-nothing. And his supporters cheer the National Embarrassment on.

I read that yesterday and haven't stopped laughing at their utter idiocy since! Sadly, they've made America a total laughing stock around the world.

Ducky... I'll add this and call ya... because it's from another cruise line...

Regarding Trumps speech, someone called it almost "Churchillesque".

That alone sums up the love some folks have for the guy...

No one on the planet except Trump's hardcore supporters would mention his name with Churchill. Trump, unlike President Obama, doesn't know how to write speeches. One of his aides wrote that, and Trump mouthed the words.

I haven't been watching his visit to Poland or the rest of Europe, since we've had perfect beach weather. He's not worth missing one day of that.

I think they're confusing Churchill with Mr. Bean, actually.
