Trump lying about testing...

PLEASE GO READ INFIDEL753's POST, "THE CULTURE WAR TURNS HOT."

The only reason the U.S. has reported one million cases of CoronaVirus is that our Testing is sooo much better than any other country in the World. Other countries are way behind us in Testing, and therefore show far fewer cases!

ACTUAL FACTS :

US has 04% of world population

US has 33% of world infections

US has 25% of world fatalities

US is 38 out of 184 countries tests per million population

US current rate of test will not be 2% population

South Korea has 60 million people. USA has 340M. We’ve done fewer per capita testing than every developed country on the planet.

But congrats for Trump making US better than Zimbabwe!

TRUMP KNEW -- AND DID NOTHING

"Somebody a long time ago..."

Trump and his administration are responsible for the slow and inadequate deadly response to the global pandemic that hit America. His malfeasance, lies, and cover-ups deserve another impeachment.

50,000+ Americans died because of Trump's incompetence and lies. He won't be impeached again, but we can throw his reckless, useless ass out of office come November.

The president and senior officials manipulated Americans and played down the severity of the pandemic.

"At the time, senior officials knew the coronavirus was an extreme threat to Americans. Thanks to information streaming in from U.S. intelligence agencies for months, officials reportedly believed that a “cataclysmic” disease could infect 100 million Americans and discussed lockdown plans. The warnings were given to Mr. Trump in his daily brief by the intelligence community; in calls from Alex Azar, the secretary of health; and in memos from his economic adviser Peter Navarro.

The same day that Dr. Messonnier spoke, the military’s National Center for Medical Intelligence raised the warning level inside the government to WATCHCON1, concluding that the coronavirus was imminently likely to develop into a full-blown pandemic.

But the White House did not want the American public to know.

The president’s stated concerns were specific. He didn’t want to upset the markets or China during trade talks, and it appears he may have also simply been in denial, counting on his personal hunches and luck.

So the president’s top advisers took to the airwaves with a united purpose: to deny the truth.

That Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Azar appeared at a news briefing, public health professionals including Dr. Anthony Fauci behind him, and discussed Dr. Messonnier’s comments. “We’re trying to engage in radical transparency with the American public as we go through this,” he declared. But within 20 seconds of that statement, he uttered state propaganda. “Thanks to the president and this team’s aggressive containment efforts,” he said, coronavirus “is contained.”

That same day, Larry Kudlow, the president’s National Economic Council director, in direct response to Dr. Messonnier’s comments, told CNBC: “We have contained this. I won’t say airtight, but pretty close to airtight.”

Trump insists on calling himself a "very stable genius," but...

he's actually:

Trump’s Disinfectant Remark Raises a Question About the ‘Very Stable Genius’

The president has often said he is exceptionally smart. His recent suggestion about injecting disinfectants was not.

"President Trump’s self-assessment has been consistent. “I’m, like, a very smart person,” he assured voters in 2016. “A very stable genius,” he ruled two years later. “I’m not a doctor,” he allowed on Thursday, pointing to his skull inside the White House briefing room, “but I’m, like, a person that has a good you-know-what.”

Mr. Trump’s performance that evening, when he suggested that injections of disinfectants into the human body could help combat the coronavirus, did not sound like the work of a doctor, a genius, or a person with a good you-know-what.

Even by the turbulent standards of this president, his musings on virus remedies have landed with uncommon force, drawing widespread condemnation as dangerous to the health of Americans and inspiring a near-universal alarm that many of his past remarks — whether offensive or fear-mongering or simply untrue — did not."

Why did the US (NIH) in 2017 give $3.7m to the Wuhan Lab in China? Such grants were prohibited in 2014. Did Pres. Obama grant an exception?

And to think, this imbecile still holds a license to practice law!

This is what Donald J. Trump did to America

Fintan O’Toole: Donald Trump has destroyed the country he promised to make great again

“THE WORLD HAS LOVED, HATED AND ENVIED THE U.S. NOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE PITY IT

"Over more than two centuries, the United States has stirred a very wide range of feelings in the rest of the world: love and hatred, fear and hope, envy and contempt, awe and anger. But there is one emotion that has never been directed towards the US until now: pity.

However bad things are for most other rich democracies, it is hard not to feel sorry for Americans. Most of them did not vote for Donald Trump in 2016. Yet they are locked down with a malignant narcissist who, instead of protecting his people from Covid-19, has amplified its lethality. The country Trump promised to make great again has never in its history seemed so pitiful.

Will American prestige ever recover from this shameful episode? The US went into the coronavirus crisis with immense advantages: precious weeks of warning about what was coming, the world’s best concentration of medical and scientific expertise, effectively limitless financial resources, a military complex with stunning logistical capacity and most of the world’s leading technology corporations. Yet it managed to make itself the global epicentre of the pandemic.

As the American writer George Packer puts it in the current edition of the Atlantic, “The United States reacted ... like Pakistan or Belarus – like a country with shoddy infrastructure and a dysfunctional government whose leaders were too corrupt or stupid to head off mass suffering.”  --Fintan O'Toole, Irish Times

***************************

Trump never wanted to make America great again; he wanted to make himself great again. The former reality tv show host and failed casino owner needed another schtick to keep his name in the media and to get more attention than his divorces, infidelities, cheating, lying personal and business life could give him. So why not run for the presidency?

With no experience in government, (hell, not even a grammar school child's knowledge of America's representative democracy), the guy who filed for bankruptcy for his businesses SIX TIMES, and who cheated on all three wives -- that guy put himself out there to lead the most technologically advanced and most powerful country in the world.  And a minority of Americans thought that would be a great idea. Also wouldn't it be great to "stick it to the libtards?"  Now those voters have stuck it to themselves. But good.

In 3+ short years, Trump has managed to make America a pitied and ridiculed nation because of his colossal incompetence, mendacious bravado, and malignant narcissism. Those of us who saw through Trump's lies and deceptions now watch as a nation, unprepared for the worse pandemic in 100+ years, is brought to its knees, unnecessarily, because of its president who refused to listen to the experts in infectious disease and who didn't plan for what that disease could do to America.

All Trump has offered during this harrowing time is self-congratulations for his miserable response to the pandemic, and stupid, even fatal suggestions for curing the virus. Not only does Trump know nothing about how government works, he knows even less about virology and curative applications for the deadly Covid-19. What Trump is good at (and what has been ruinous to America) is his ability to ignore expert advice and to promote himself as an expert on everything because, as Trump often brags, he's a stable genius.

Look at where that got us: We lead the world in Covid-19 infections and deaths.

That's how Trump made America great again.

VOTE HIM OUT IN NOVEMBER! And take the Republican Senate with him!

VOTE HIM AWAY!

"Stable Genius"...

suggested injecting disinfectant as a treatment for Covid-19:

The guy who knows nothing about government or how our representative democracy works is now prescribing treatments for Covid-19.

If his cultists listen to him (and they always do) he'll get them all killed!

Trump cultists need to listen to actual experts on Covid-19, not a bloviating nincompoop -- Trump.

Trump Muses About Light as Remedy, but Also Disinfectant, Which Is Dangerous

At a briefing, the president promoted unproven treatments and asked Dr. Deborah Birx if she had heard of the success of sunlight as a tool against viruses.

“And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute — one minute — and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning?” he asked. “Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

The F.D.A. issued a warning against using anti-malaria drugs that Trump has touted.

The drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine can cause dangerous abnormalities in heart rhythm in coronavirus patients, and should be used only in clinical trials or hospitals where patients can be closely monitored for heart problems, the Food and Drug Administration warned in a safety communication issued on Friday.

BREAKING NEWS

WASHINGTON — American intelligence officials’ determination that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to assist Donald J. Trump’s candidacy was fundamentally sound and untainted by politics, according to a key Republican-led Senate review released on Tuesday. The findings undercut longstanding allegations by Mr. Trump and his allies that the officials were biased against him.

[skip]

"The committee is expected to release a final bipartisan volume in the coming months evaluating possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. A draft, already approved by the committee, runs over 900 pages but has yet to be submitted for classification review by intelligence agencies, a process that could take weeks or months. More recently, Mr. Burr, who slowly pushed his bipartisan investigation forward despite calls from Mr. Trump to disband it, has come under intense scrutiny for a decision to liquidate much of his stock portfolio in February, before the coronavirus pandemic ravaged the financial markets. The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Justice Department have taken preliminary steps to investigate whether the sales had been based on nonpublic information Mr. Burr received on the Intelligence Committee or through other Senate work, a potential violation of the law.

Mr. Burr noted that Russia had continued efforts to interfere in American politics, and he said the warnings of three years ago still must be heeded.

“Russia and its imitators increasingly use information warfare to sow societal chaos and discord,” Mr. Burr said. “With the 2020 presidential election approaching, it’s more important than ever that we remain vigilant against the threat of interference from hostile foreign actors.”

Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the committee’s top Democrat, concurred and warned that Russia’s success in 2016 would embolden the Kremlin to continue to interfere in American democracy."

THE PRO-LIFE AND "ALL LIVES MATTER" PARTY WANT TO SACRIFICE AMERICAN LIVES FOR COMMERCE!

U.S.GOP TEXAS LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR SAYS WE NEED TO TAKE RISK TO GET BACK TO WORK: 'THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN LIVING'

Everything the Trumpublicans have ever said about "All Lives Matter," and being "Pro-Life" is a damnable lie. Never believe them, ever again.

The Lt. Governor of Texas is on record saying "THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN LIVING!"

The Republican Party is not the party that supports the idea of all life being precious. The current Trumpublican Party believes ALL COMMERCE THAT PRODUCES MONEY IS PRECIOUS AND MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE.

Never believe them when they talk about Democratic "baby killers." They're lying. They don't believe in the preservation of life. (And my opinion is that they never did.)

AND THE DARWIN AWARD GOES TO...

Darwin Awards: The Darwin Awards are a tongue-in-cheek honour, originating in Usenet newsgroup discussions around 1985. They recognise individuals who have supposedly contributed to human evolution by selecting themselves out of the gene pool via death or sterility by their own actions.

Man Who Called Ohio's Lockdown Order 'Bullshit' Has Succumbed To COVID-19

John McDaniel railed on social media against Ohio's Gov. Mike DeWine's lockdown order .

Weeks later he contracted the virus.

A few days ago he died.

****************

Texas woman claimed COVID-19 is a media hoax & can be stopped by “faith.”

Days later she died.

She said more people have died in cross-stitching accidents than coronavirus infections.
\
Now COVID-19 has killed her.

And many right wing bloggers are of the same mentality. Their freedumbs demand that they be able to get out and get on with their lives so they, too, can earn a Darwin award.

They believe in preserving their freedom to die a nasty death.

If it were just them risking their own lives, I'd say go ahead and give into your suicidal wishes; but, unfortunately, their selfish stupidity would affect innocent women, men, and children who actually value their lives and understand that "freedom" is worthless when you're DEAD.

Here's a poster seen at a Michigan "End the Lockdown" rally:

TRUMPS INCITES VIOLENCE BY ENCOURAGING ARMED MILITIAS

Incitement To Violence: In a series of dangerous tweets, a deranged President Donald Trump calls on his supporters to “liberate” states led by Democratic governors.
USA Today reports:
President Donald Trump called on supporters Friday to “liberate” states that have experienced protests over coronavirus lockdowns, a day after he unveiled guidelines aimed at reopening the nation’s economy.
Less than 24 hours after declining to name states he felt are prepared to begin easing social distancing guidelines to halt the spread of the virus, Trump named Virginia, Michigan and Minnesota as states that could benefit from what he described as liberation.

Trump needs to be impeached again, or better yet, put in a straight jacket and sent to a looney bin. STAT!

TRUMP LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHEN HE SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW COVID-19 WAS A PANDEMIC

Trump continues to lie to the American people to cover up his colossal incompetence. He is responsible for the deaths of thousands and thousands of Americans.

Get rid of him in November!

DISGUSTING LIAR.

Trump says he's angry he wasn't told there was an epidemic: "And I was angry, because this should have been told to us. It should have been told to us early. It should have been told to us a lot sooner. People knew it was happening and people didn't want to talk about it."

Remember how the Goopers barked about the mess up on the ObamaCare roll out?

What do they have to say about this?

BREAKING: Millions of Americans have not received their stimulus payments. The coronavirus stimulus rollout is a complete failure, because Trump was in charge of it. He failed at this just like he failed at the initial response. And everything else in his life. #CoronavirusLiar
