General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Here’s a little dose of reality for the idiot troll who keeps leaving comments about this drug here at P.E.:
Do we know enough Y. E. T. for that kind of sweeping declaration. Or are we starting to slip into sloppiness like Dotard, FAUX NOOZ, and the GOP. I am beginning to ponder that question.
If you’re referring to the anti-malarial drug, I’ve read enough statements from researchers and doctors to understand that it cannot be a panacea for everyone who contracts the Coronavirus. Some people do ok with it, some people can be permanently disabled or even die from it.
As I understand hydroxicloroquin (sp?) it depresses the immune system in those whose immune system overreacts to an infection. Excessive inflammation can result in serious problems. Including death.
I think using the drug in candidates that doctors have observed and evaluated should be considered. If it is determined that the person is a candidate the drug shou.d be administered under the doctors close oversight. Until we know more.
Doctors who prescribe Hydroxychloroquine to the thousands of patients for Malaria Lupus and Arthritis say they haven’t encounter side effects. The media, and the Left MUST STOP their Lying, and stop it now, because Lives could be saved by it’s use.
The issue and the media hysteria is trump mentioned it as showing promise and nothing he says has any merit. Not all patients do well with any drug because there are always contraindications. Even aspirin has side affects and can kill some.
[1] The president's enthusiasm for hydroxychloroquine has also sparked a run on the drug, in some cases preventing patients with lupus, who have relied on the drug for years, from refilling their prescriptions.
[2] There is also some evidence that some Americans have tried to self-administer chloroquine formulations in the wake of Trump's comments. One eBay seller recently sold hundreds of packets of chloroquine phosphate — which is also marketed as an antiparasitic used in fish tanks — for hundreds of dollars apiece. And in Arizona, a man died after ingesting chloroquine phosphate to guard against the coronavirus.
[3] Both chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine can have side effects related to abnormal heart rhythms... While the incidence of cardiac side effects is low for each of these drugs, they can be significant, particularly since those individuals presenting with severe Covid-19 may have underlying comorbidities or drug-drug interactions that can place them at higher risk.
[4] It just so happens that one of the largest manufacturers of the drug, Novartis, previously paid Trump's now-incarcerated former personal attorney Michael Cohen more than $1 million for healthcare policy insight following Trump's election in 2016.
This is why there are controlled clinical trials. To determine how it can or should be used. Until those trials are completed and and the results studied we don't know anything other than hearsay.
Dervie, Your observations confirm that you can't outlaw stupid. Gee I think I will use a fish bowl cleaner because I may have corona.
Why would you give an experimental drug to someone who has terminal cancer if it may harm them. Like I said even aspirin has side affects so maybe people should not take aspirin.

RN I think that’s how it’s being used. Not all Covid19 patients do well on it.
Ram, the media and the left are NOT lying about hydroxychloroquine. You need to tone down the hysterics.
There are few if any safety issues with using the drug which has been prescribed for decades. So what’s the problem???

There ARE side effects with all drugs. You really need to do a bit of self education Rambunctious.
Re "So what's the problem???"...
Some of the problems...
