At a briefing, the president promoted unproven treatments and asked Dr. Deborah Birx if she had heard of the success of sunlight as a tool against viruses.
“And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute — one minute — and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning?” he asked. “Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”
The F.D.A. issued a warning against using anti-malaria drugs that Trump has touted.
The drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine can cause dangerous abnormalities in heart rhythm in coronavirus patients, and should be used only in clinical trials or hospitals where patients can be closely monitored for heart problems, the Food and Drug Administration warned in a safety communication issued on Friday.

Government should not be left to the politicians. It is far to complicated for those morons to understand. We need to pick competent leaders and let the politicians go about increasing their fortunes and stocking the freezers with ice cream.

It is truly unfortunate that we will have another election without a decent choice.
As much as skud likes to represent politicians from both parties as equally corrupt and incompetent the truth is there is a difference. While it is true that all pols enjoy the perks provided by their position it is NOT true that both are equally corrupt. Repukelicans far outshine democrats in the corruption zone. Since Dotard the Dim has taken over coontrol of the party it has become ab extraordinarily corrupt party.

ALL politicians are interested in three things. Getting reelected so they can keep their job and they spend 70% of their time campaigning, Spending taxpayer money and working on ways to get more of it, Increasing their own significant fortune.
What other job can you vote to increase your salary, have corporations beg to loan you their corporate jet for fact finding trips to St Thomas, work an average of two days a week or about 150 days a year. For that they are paid $175,000 a year, which is over three times the average American, and say how they work for the taxpayer. After serving a term they can retire at full pay for life, health care for life and become a lobbyist and make a few additional millions to add to their fortune.
No I don't think there is one of them who is worth their weight in warm spit. Most of them couldn't hold a decent job because they have no skills except some practicing law and a few would now be laid off because bartender is not an essential job, although with that I will disagree.
It is always funny to see the corrupt calling the corrupt, corrupt. Now we will get a president who can't put a full sentence together or remember day it is and the only reason he is the candidate is so we can have the first women president.
