THIS UNFORTUNATE WOMAN...

is Trump's new "Press Secretary." A month ago she told some FAUX NOOZ person:

"...the coronavirus would never spread to the U.S."

The jokes keep writing themselves, folks. Although joking about Americans suffering and dying is not funny, the fact that President Dotard appointed this woman to "Press Secretary," is not just laughable, but at this point, it is indecent!

SILLY, UNQUALIFIED JOKE APPOINTED AS PRESIDENT DOTARD'S NEW PRESS SECY.

Shaw... we're in a governmental free fall. Pure and Simple.

The acting Sec of the Navy, gone after calling a captain stupid and naive.

US Press Sec... gone.

The Corona Stimulus Inspector General... Gone after Trump fired a 15 year employee.

Our Intelligence Inspector General... Gone for simply delivering, as he was required by law, the whistle blower complaint about Trump. Kill the messenger.

Dept of HHS inspector General... roundly criticized and essentially called a liar by our president.

President Trump is systematically removing every level of appointed and Senate approved oversight and replacing them with political appointees. How does this serve our constitutional system of checks and balances?

And yet, extremists cheer that finally Pres Trump is draining the swamp. What he is draining is institutional memory about how good government functions. And in its place is a cronyism in government that has no skills and thus ensures a less than effective performance.

And no folks... it's not a sky is falling doom and gloom prognosis... it's reality.

What is now routinely expected from the trump administration of incompetence and ineptitude.

RN... the great majority of political appointees who need Senate approval, have been fired and replaced by "acting" people so they do not have to have Senate confirmation.

What is Trump afraid of? It's his own party...

I've never seen anything like the purge of professionals in government in my life.

Rusty, why are you here? Why do you continue to come here and post comments on my blog?

You've written nasty sexually explicit posts about me on other blogs, and you still come here?

I've always guessed that you Trumpers have some sort of mental disorder, and your constant visiting here proves it. You're as sick and psychologically crippled as they come.

I'm sorry your life is so devoid of joy and purpose that you feel it necessary to harass and stalk me here.

It would be better for your mental health if you looked within yourself to find out why you continue to come here and try to interact with someone you intensely dislike but can't seem to quit.

PS. I hope you and your family are well and safe.

Dave, Trump is hollowing out the workings of our representative democracy and is turning it into how he ran his businesses. Everything you mentioned in your comment is more evidence of someone who wants complete and utter obesience from his appointees.

This shows me a man who is afraid and weak.

PS. Please read this:

This Is Trump’s Fault
The president is failing, and Americans are paying for his failures.

Shaw... re your link.

Many Republicans, Senator McConnell included, are in fact making the argument Frum cites... that President was "distracted" by the impeachment proceedings.

What they think we won't understand is this... that their argument tacitly admits Trumps reaction to the virus has indeed been a problem, not perfect, or a 10, as he has claimed. in other words, even the Republicans defending Trump know their party screwed this up.

Hey Tony! Did CHINA and soros do this to destroy Italy, France, Spain, South Korea, India, Britain, and the other countries of the world? Are you always this dumb or did you make a special effort today?

A Question I’m having trouble getting an answer to:

I have been hearing a lot of Conservatives saying the quarantine was far too dangerous a solution to the virus. Some say it’s infringing on our liberties and that, basically, this was a dry run for what they think is coming.

Trump was the one to request the quarantine…”EVERYBODY stay home if you can. Businesses should close, churches, ballparks, stadiums,..” Then, a few days ago, it was “…don’t even go to the grocery store or pharmacy if you can at all help it.” Trump.

Trump also said we can’t let the cure be worse than the sickness.

SO, if this is some kind of threat to the freedoms of our country, or a foreshadowing of the death of freedom, IS TRUMP IN ON IT?

Thank you Anita for the copy and paste job from the Mother Ship.

Shaw... Tony is probably always that dumb... how else to explain a comment that if presented to any high school English teacher would get the big red F on a paper.

I agree with predator biden in the closing the borders to china was a racist approach and trump should be condemned for taking that approach.

The approach the previous administration was a far better approach. Declare a national emergency within days, close the border and quarantine the country to stop the deaths. Wait I guess that didn't happen but that was because 12,500 deaths was acceptable to the administration and the press. He did declare a national emergency six months later so that is a good thing.

The Prophet Dervish Z Sanders said...

12,500 deaths weren't "acceptable", but that figure was the total. Coronavirus deaths are going to surpass 12,500 and go far beyond. As far as "predators" go, Joe Biden has an accuser (1, as far as I know) while Dotard has MANY more. No sexual assault allegations against Bernie Sanders (who should have been the nominee in 2016 and should have been the nominee in 2020).

btw, infected people continued to travel to the US after Dotard "shut down" travel from China. Quote: "279 flights from China have arrived in the US since Trump's travel restrictions were announced [and] thousands of them flew directly from Wuhan".

Derv, Trump should be held accountable for the handling of the covid because he is the president. The previous president should have been held accountable for n1h1 but the press swooned over him because he is the swell guy. We have no idea how many will die from covid but it looks like it will be significant. It doesn't look like it will be the 250K talked about. The congress needs to be held accountable as well because they were briefed early on but they were to consumed with impeachment to do anything.

As to biden, he has been accused by nine women. If he was a republican he would already be guilty because he was accused.

Trump is doing a good job trying to keep the country going. I an not in favor of giving billions to the airlines because they will go back to their ways of abusing the flying public, giving money to cruise lines who register their ships off shore so they can avoid taxes and human rights for workers. Helping small business stay in business is great instead of trying to close them. Help assure big business is solvent helps everyone.

Bernie, really? I would favor him over -H- but you actually support him, wow

Dave Miller, I only ridicule ridiculous people who richly deserve to be castigated and humiliated for their incessant rude violations of Common Sense, Common Decency, And that’s why I feel as I do towards the Progressives on these boards.
In other words I give fools, depraved people, and Progressives what they have rightfully earned by being so assertively stupid and obnoxious! So if the shoe fits, wear it

Les Carpenter said...

Indeed Tony, I couldn't agree more. You hypocritical fools on the rightwing certainly are aggressively stupid. Especially the trumpers. I assume you are one of them by your rhetoric.
