Beneath the Dignity of the POTUS

UPDATE BELOW

Light posting again this week. I'm spending quality time with my SoCal grandson. But not so light posting that I can't show my readers the immature, embarrassing, and contemptible Donald J. Trump, the disaster of a human being that the 30 percenters still support,

The POTUS calls a U.S. senator "sleazy." Adam Schiff is a decent man who is not afraid to speak truth to power. Trump is despicable and deplorable and bereft of any human decency.

Trump has brought shame and embarrassment to our country and to the office of the presidency. The thirty percenters who blindly support this abcess on our democracy are just as contemptible as Trump is.

The day when Trump leaves the presidency and goes back to his golden tower and takes his disreputable family with him can't come soon eno

 Dear Gawd!:

UPDATE:

From PM Carpenter:

 The infinitely indecent Mr. Trump

"For many conservatives, Trump's character is no longer a glitch … it’s what they love" — Charlie Sykes, from the old, now-defunct school of actual conservatism

In his latest online entry, Sykes quotes fellow anti-Trumper Ben Shapiro:

"Trump’s character is now a thoroughly accepted positive good" among conservatives. "Trump isn’t the engine, he’s the hood ornament for a certain movement that now feels liberated from traditional rules of decent behavior."

Sykes also quotes National Review's Jonah Goldberg:

Trump's "petty vindictiveness" has been "redefined" by conservatives "as leadership."

All of which is somewhat superfluous. From the vile hood ornament himself, just three hours ago:

And there you have it, straight from the once-dignified office of the U.S. presidency: leadership as petty vindictiveness — embraced and cheered on by modern conservatives, who've lost all sense of decency.

Poor Donald, he's projecting again.

Enjoy the time with your grandson, Shaw. Trump'll still be here when you come back. Oops, that was supposed to be reassuring.

Ducky's here said...

Must be tough being Jeff Sessions

"In one of a series of Monday morning tweets, the president wondered why the various investigations into Moscow’s election interference were not “looking into Crooked Hillarys [sic] crimes & Russia relations.”"

And that slime weasel Jason Chaffetz checks in:

"“There is a double standard with the United States Senate Republicans because they are holding [the Trumps] to a much higher standard, with very little evidence, than they ever did the Clintons,” the former House Oversight Committee chairman said on the show. “That investigation — why did it end?”"

Jason, it ended because there was no reason to prosecute.
Lord Dampnut ,on the other hand ... well, he clearly feels the vice tightening.

Kevin, My grandson grew up in Orange County, California, a very red part of California, but in the last election it went for Hillary! The Orange County Register did NOT endorse Trump. My grandson is up on political news and he hasn't a good word to say about the current occupant of the White House. He's so embarrassed that Trump is our president. Think of all the other young people who are more mature and level headed than the crybaby and fraud that's pretending to be a POTUS.

Ducky, the GOP committee investigating BENGHAZI! said there that Hillary did not commit any crime in handling the tragedy that was Benghazi! There was no there there, but the cons kept hammering on that story. Jason Chaffetz is a hack, and I'm glad he's out of politics. He won't be missed.

PS Did you know that Chaffetz is the half-brother of Kitty Dukakis' son John Dukakis? Kitty was briefly married to Jason's father, had a son John Chaffetz, and then divorced the Senior Chaffetz. When she married Michael Dukakis, John took Michael's name. Jason is supposedly close to his half brother, John Dukakis.

It's been six months since President Trump took office, and America is already considering impeachment prospects. From a USA Today and iMediaEthics survey of 1,330 Americans over three days last week:

42% of Americans wants Congress to impeach Donald Trump, while 42% do not.
There are as many Americans who would be upset if Trump is impeached as those who would be upset if he was not impeached (34%).

Only 27% of those surveyed thought that Trump would serve a full term.
Why it matters: While President Trump is certainly not the first president to face a growing population of Americans who want him impeached, it's uncommon to be this unpopular this early in a presidency.

Did you say "no dignity?" Look what President Russia did today.

Donald Trump Gets Boy Scouts To BOO President Obama, And Chant “We Love Trump”

I'm sure the Rethuglicans are proud of this POS. I've never seen a president of this country act like this POS acts. He is a disgrace. And he is a crook.
