defend a once Communist head of the KGB and present butcher of children and murderous dictator, Putin, and betray a man who is fighting for democracy and to save his country from the invader?
Ronald Reagan, a hero of the Republican Party, would spit in Trump's face after what he did to the man fighting for democracy against Putin.
And that's what Trump deserves: to be spit on and reviled for eternity for this:
TRUMP: “He doesn’t have to stand there and say ‘Putin this, Putin that,’ all negative things. He’s got to say, ‘I want to make peace, I don’t want to fight any longer.’”
(Trump wants Ukraine to surrender.)
I no longer recognize the United States of America and what we once stood for.

Peace through strength. Yeah, right. The more weapon systems developed the more destructive energy that is created.
Defending ones sovereignty in the face of aggression is of course right and neccessary.
There is of course a better way.
But apparently, unlike animals in the wild, humans enjoy killing their own to gain power over others or for.sport.
"The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds." Carl Sagan was a very wise and prophetic scientist.
Conservative David French: "Trump’s attack on Zelensky is just the latest salvo against our allies. Back in office, Trump has taught our most important strategic partners a lesson they will not soon forget: America can — and will — change sides. Its voters may indeed choose a leader who will abandon our traditional alliances and actively support one of the world’s most dangerous and oppressive regimes."

"At the same time that Trump was turning on Ukraine, his administration canceled thousands of contracts funding malaria prevention, polio vaccine initiatives, tuberculosis treatments, Ebola surveillance and hospitals in refugee camps. If these cancellations stand, then the United States will essentially dismantle a vast humanitarian network that has saved millions of lives."
He does not care, nor do his ignorant cultists. For them all that is important is I. me, mine. And nothing else.
