Why Aren't We Surprised...

to read about another group who got stiffed by the "billionaire" Trump?

This time it's a group of kids. Doesn't matter to Donnie. If he can stiff people out of money owed to them, he'll do it. Those are his values. And the sort of values the rabid radical right admires. Old, young, working class, small business owners. Doesn't matter to Donnie. If he can get out of paying people who supply material or services to him, he'll do it.

A real Christian Family Values guy if ever there was one, eh?

"The USA Freedom Kids, who went viral after performing at a Donald Trump rally, are now suing the Trump campaign for refusing to compensate them.

The trio of girl singers and dancers made headlines in January, when they performed a routine honoring Donald Trump in star-spangled costumes at a Trump rally in Pensacola, Florida.

Jeff Popick, creator of the group and father to one of the children, told the Washington Post that while he initially requested $2,500 for their performance, the Trump campaign offered instead to give them permission to set up a table at the rally where the group could sell their albums.

This never happened. Describing the event as “complete chaos,” Popick said, “They clearly had made no provisions for that.” Popick says the group’s most nationally visible moment wound up costing them, from the money spent on promotional materials for the table that was provided to losing other opportunities due to the group’s relationship with the Trump campaign.

After efforts to secure some other form of payment went nowhere, the Trump campaign called the trio offering them to perform at an even higher profile event: Trump’s highly publicized event for veterans that he threw to conflict with the Republican debate, which he had shockingly decided to skip.

This offer came the night before the event, and the group rushed from Florida to Iowa to attend. When they arrived, they were not permitted to perform, and they were also stiffed out of compensation for their plane, rental car, and hotel expenses."

Question is, why were they surprised? Twice fooled?

I'm more convinced all the time that the reason he doesn't release his financial stuff is because he's tanked. It's the only reason to do the penny ante deals he does. Why else appear on the apprentice and do the Trump U rip off?

When those Russians catch up to him he'll be sleeping with the fishes in the Black Sea if he doesn't pay up.

Dervish, people should learn that Trump is a swindler. He does all he can to weasel out of his contracts and to screw the little guy. But the people supporting him refuse to see the creep for what he is.

Kevin, I've read Drumpf is in debt up to his ugly mouth to the Russians. This is the first time in the history of the United States that someone running for the presidency is so entangled with a foreign country. But, of course, the wingers who love party more than their country, don't have a problem with that.

Imagine if a Democrat were in debt to a country hostile to the United States. Imagine if Barack Obama had accepted the Democratic nomination in 2008 with 5 children from 3 different wives on the stage with him? They never, never, never would have accepted that had a man of color had that as a background.

Why do they accept it from Trump?

Oh. Wait. They're moral cowards, that's why.

Probably but George Will has a juicier theory.

He has ties to the Russian oligarchy

That's right, Bow Tie Daddy himself thinks Drumpf's tax returns would link him to Russian oligarchs.
I guess George is in the NeverTrump camp.

Typical of Drumpf and his kind. Cheap Bas#ards.

Thanks Ducky. One of the few nice things about Trump is the schadenfreude from seeing the suffering of people like Will, Krauthammer and numerous neo-cons. I'm not sure where the line is drawn between "friends of Vlad Putin," Russian oligarchs and Russian mafia. It's likely a thin one in any case.
