TRUMP CHOOSES TO VOTE WITH THE AXIS OF EVIL IN UN RESOLUTION

Under the Trump-Musk Regime, the United States voted against the UN resolutions that Ukraine proposed and voted with Russia, North Korea, and Belarus. Yesterday a reporter asked Trump why that happened, and Trump refused to answer saying, "I would rather not explain it now, I think it is self-evident I think."

Yes. It IS self-evident that the Trump-Musk Regime has aligned itself with the world's anti-democratic thugs, authoritarians and Communists!

From an email I received today:

"The United States' decision to side with Russia, North Korea, and Belarus against an UN resolution supporting Ukraine is an eternal shame for America, a disgrace that will echo through history as a betrayal of our core values. It is a slap in the face to the World War II generation -- those who fought and died to crush fascism and defend freedom  -- watching from their graves as we align with the despots and thugs over a nation battling for its survival. This isn't just a policy misstep; it is an abandonment of our allies, a gutless pivot that leaves Ukraine dangling in the wind, forsaken by the very nation that once stood as a beacon against tyranny.

To cozy up to Putin's axis of autocrats while Kyiv fights for its life is to spit on the legacy of D-Day, to mock the sacrifices made for a world where might didn't win over right. We've turned our back on the promise of "Never Again!" and the stain of this cowardice will cling to us forever."

When this country voted for Trump, a convicted felon, sexual assaulter, liar, cheat, and fraud as its leader, we should have expected that dishonorable man to align himself with like-minded criminals.

And he did.

Speaking of the Soviet Union, precursor to present day Russia, Reagan said...

“I urge you to beware [of] the temptation of pride, the temptation of blithely declaring yourselves above it all, and label both sides equally at fault, to ignore the facts of history and the aggressive impulses of an evil empire..."

But in the same speech, he also said this...

"Soviet [now Russian] leaders have openly and publicly declared that the only morality they recognize is that which will further their cause, which is world revolution. I think I should point out I was only quoting Lenin, their guiding spirit, who said in 1920 that they repudiate all morality that proceeds from supernatural ideas –that’s their name for religion–or ideas that are outside class conceptions."

I would ask the Trump supporting MAGA folks this...

Was Reagan wrong back then, have the Russians nee Soviets changed, or was Reagan lying?

I'll await the usual deflection from the troll class.

Nothing is forever, everything being impermanent. That's the good news.

Although, there can be no question but with tRump, the Felon Disaster, this nation has lost all credibility among the free and democratic nations of the world. Aligning with dictators and the might makes right nations simply highlights tRump's insatiable little boy need to be seen as a strongman without fear. Something very far from the truth. tRump is a frightened and troubled human form without a compass or core values.

Frankly, this is what I expected. The republican party is now the official party of lies, pure propaganda, and authoritarianism. Seeing their chance to "go public" with the Felon of the USA leading they put on their plume and started strutting.

And now we're dealing with the sh*t, as is the rest of the planet.

Personally, I liked Reagan, as hfelon was a decent sort of guy. Especially when compared to today's republican conservative mentality.

Was he lying. No, he had first hand memory of WW II, the Cold War, and Russia's authoritarian and repressive Communism. He believed what he said and said what he believed.

Today's republican party is neither the party of Lincoln or the party of Reagan. It is the party of the Felon of the USA. A party of self interest of the billionaires, greed, lies, propaganda, disrespect for democracy and the rule of law, and embracing authoritaianism, Christian Nationalism, White Supremacy, and rule of personality. That of DJT the narcissist felon.

With Trump, everything is transactional. He has no moral compass so it is easy for him to align his country with a murdering butcher so that he will gain monetary advantage somewhere down the line.

My question to Americans: How does it feel to be on the same side as Russia and North Korea at the UN? Does it feel like you're heading in the right direction?
