Senator Murphy is obviously confused as to which branch of Government he's responsible to/for.

I don’t think he’s the one who’s confused.

You know all his truths went in one ear and out her other.

Concur Shaw. LOL Joe Conservative is totally confused because they sure didn't understand Senator Murphy's words. Nor do they understand our defense of the Constitution. There are some of us who can love an imperfect thing even as we work diligently to help transform that imperfect thing into something better. And there are those who will throw 'isms' because of... reasons?

ICE will be broke by July, 2 months before the next budget is supposed to take effect. There are all kinds of safeguards built into the law to prevent agency heads from spending monies they don't have. Any attempt to spend more than allocated is wildly illegal. But laws are so last administration, amirite?

LOL - you can't invent money. That is so on point for these MAGA fools. Sen. Murphy has their number.

Russian and Chinese hackers are attacking but the monies to prevent such shenanigans? Gone in the name of 'efficiency'. Storm warnings? Gone in the name of 'efficiency'. And I know the hacking continues as my sites and internet are all kinds of messed up. Way to go FOTUS admin! You sure showed those folks who have bad intentions against WeThePeople who is boss (not you).

Good history lesson as to why asylum was written into Immigration law. Excellent point that it was a bipartisan effort. And shame on WeThePeople if We turn our backs (again) on those who just want to live a better life, free from being killed for who they are. Oh, wait, that's here too now. Oops.

Then he needs to go pass a law and stop interfering with Executive Branch personnel.

Senator Murphy has the law on his side. He doesn’t have to enact new ones.

Shaw Kenawe said...

That’s because there’s nothing in between. LOL!

For the willfully ignorant and those living delusionally, like the Felon Fuhrer and the MAGA cultists, when they decide they don't like or agree with the law they simply ignore the fact it is law and create their own narative and keep on trucking. Cause < THAT''s what authoritarian fascists do.

Last I heard all three branches are responsible to the American people.
I bet JC's getting exited at the prospect of ending habeas corpus so Trump can round up Democrats and anyone who disagrees with him, like his lawfare against Chris Krebs for saying he lost a fair election.
Just don't call this fascism, amirite?

Golly gee, J-Con of channel Tunnel Vision is so logically interdicted, he may well be qualified for what passes as as an administration. Neanderthals, all.

As usual, the supporters of the MAGA movement, which has made some good points on a few issues, is unable to defend their point of view Constitutionally, or where, in the Senator's words, he is in contradiction with the Constitution.

When Joe Biden moved to forgive student loans, the courts said the Constitution did not allow him to do so. Much like term one President Trump on immigration policy, he went back to the courts to try and get his policies correct.

That's what you should do in a Constitutional Republic, as opposed to acting, hearing from the courts and defying those courts.

The people who argue for the actions of people like Noem, should be ignored unless and until they, in their own words, clearly state, where the Constitution allows suspension of due process, and the impounding of already bi partisan approved spending by COngress.
