The key there is 30 million undocumented people in the US.
Why are there so many? The Obama Admin had a net zero effect on immigration because they were deporting so many people. What happened between 2016 when he left office and now?
How did this happen?
Now I know there's a lot of those 30 million who ARE here with some status, refugees, asylum seekers, etc, which the Trump Admin wrongly classifies as undocumented, but by any metric, that number, 30 million, if it is accurate, or even half accurate, is terrible.
BTW, as it relates to the number of undocumented ppl in the US, the preponderance of numbers I am seeing put it at around 15 million. Plus or minus a million, depending on who's reporting.
Yes, it is terrible. The US government, Democrats and Republicans failed us and the immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees who tried to come here the correct way. And we the people are complicit as well for voting year after year for the politicians who failed to address the monumental problem.

The numbers are correct, but the facts they supposedly represent... not so much.
I'll take the last part as an opinion, since you give no evidence for "not so much."
