Susan Jacoby saw it coming, as well as Kevin Phillips, who was atoning for his 'southern strategy' before he sickened of Nixon and Reagan. Trump is the inevitable consequence of the post-truth era of authoritarian disinformation spawned by conservative corporate media and social media.
