I doubt they had planned on having a congress who is more concerned with payback than doing their job. They lost because of stupid choices and being so arrogant they have no idea what the people want. For the people by the people is now for us by us.

Your post is correct in they never though the American people were as dumb as they have proven to be and the politicians are as corrupt as they have proven to be.
