Michelle Obama delivered one of the best speeches I've ever listened to. It certainly was a magnitude better than anything the GOP offered up last week. Her speech was full of grace, warmth, hope, and truth.
Michelle Obama rocked it and stuck it to the Orange Talking Yam.
Stephen Colbert: "Michelle Obama's speech was so good I want to hear it again. When is Melania doing it?"
Cory Booker! Wow!
"AMERICA! WE. WILL. RISE!"
But Donald Trump, the thin-skinned loud-mouth narcissist, couldn't let Cory Booker's speech go unanswered, so Donnie took to Twitter and lashed out instead of keeping his pie-hole shut:
- Trump stung by Cory Booker’s speech, makes threat. Pathetic! https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/757760973419712512 … @realDonaldTrump
Elizabeth Warren reminded us all of what a sleaze the GOP chose to lead it.
And Bernie hit one out of the park.
"Bernie Sanders' Night. He gave it all. Tonight, he became something he wasn't really before. A Democrat. Thank you sir, from the bottom of this Democrat's heart. You brought it. (And I know it wasn't an easy thing to do.)" -- Lee Arnold

Michelle! Great speech!
I heard it was indeed a great speech, even lauded by many Republicans...
The democrats first night made the republican convention look like a second grade production.
The trolls and right wing bloggers are particularly vicious today, slamming Michelle Obama's beautiful speech. But that's to be expected from that wing of the GOP that festers in a swamp of vomitous hate for everything.
I'm so glad the Democrats didn't lower themselves into the gutter last night the way the Goopers did last week. The American people had a real good look at the difference between the two parties and what they stand for: GOP: Fear and Hatred. Democrats: Joy and Love.
Mrs. Obama was the heart of last night's presentations.
It’s almost laughable to hear the DNC open with the Pledge of Allegiance and Patriotic singing….for AMERICA? A SOCIALIST America THEY want? How can you pledge allegiance to America, with its fabulous history of capitalism and independent citizens, and believe in socialism?
Lady Pinkbottom,
FYI:
Francis Bellamy wrote the Pledge of Allegiance, which did not have the words "Under God" in it. Those words were added during the Eisenhower administration, during the Red Scare. Bellamy was a Christian socialist who "championed 'the rights of working people and the equal distribution of economic resources, which he believed was inherent in the teachings of Jesus.'
So the humor in this is that every time a "patriotic" winger recites the Pledge, he/she is reciting the words of a Socialist who believed in the equal distribution of economic resources. Just like Jesus did.
Lady Pinkbutt, your ignorance is showing.
Lady Pinkbottom -- as if we don't know who you are..... Jerry is correct - your ignorance is showing. Shoo....
