Suppose Trump Planned a Gooper Convention and Only Moral Cowards Came?

UPDATE BELOW

Republicans who love their country more than they love a political party and its thin-skinned, nasty, bigoted fraud of a presidential nominee will not be going to the Republican Convention.

Those GOPers with a moral conscience include past GOP presidents, former presidential candidates, and former US cabinet members. Also a whole lot of US senators and representatives, governors, and other GOPers who are NOT moral cowards.

But take heart, Trumpistas! Plenty of white supremacists and KKK members promise to make Trump's nomination convention something the American people will never forget.

Thanks to PM Carpenter for publishing this list on his blog.

Read what he has to say about why Mike Tyson demurely declined to be part of the Trumpistas' coronation convention:

"Below is a list of names of people who have confirmed to News 13, [Tampa] Bay News 9 and the Associated Press that they aren't attending the convention:

Sen. Marco Rubio (Florida)
Rep. Dennis Ross (Florida)
Rep. David Jolly (Florida)

Gov. John Kasich (Ohio)
Sen. John McCain (Arizona)

UPDATE:

Amazing.

Donald Trump did not invite Sarah Palin to the GOP convention in Cleveland.

After Sarah went all in to support Donnie, appearing in all her glittery glamour to tell the world what a regular guy Donnie is, champion of the little people and so non-PC!

Now he won't even ask her to the dance.

Poor Sarah. She is such poison in her own party that the guy she stumped for and urged all her facebook fans to vote for won't even bring her to his party?

Wow. Just think.  Eight years ago the GOPers were certain John McCain and Superstar Sarah! would beat Obama/Biden. She was the woman of the moment, and the GOP loved her to pieces!

Look at her now.  Left alone in Alaska to watch her hero, Donald Trump, accept the GOP nomination. And why didn't Donnie invite her? Because Trump said Alaska is just too far from Cleveland.

Oh.

Whatevah.

Well we now know of at least two very important persons who WILL be singing Donnie's praises at the coronation convention. This is YUUUUUUUUUGE!!!!:

1) Former Calvin Klein underwear model Antonio Sabato Jr., and

2) Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White'

Oh WOW! Donnie get all the Greats and the Near Greats!

Drumpf will pick Pence, if the newscasters are correct! HAHAHAHAHA His poll numbers in Indiana are tepid at best and he has the personality of a sponge, plus there's a long record of the nutty things he's said and done over the years. I can't wait for the ads to start showing up against Pence. LOL... The righties just can't help but be stupid, can they?

Okay, just help me on this. Why would it be up to Donald Trump whether or not to invite Sarah Palin? Are there not several scores of republican dignitaries invited to this less than illustrious event? Why the hell would a fool like Trump be allowed to call the shots so early in the game? No Marco Senso.

It just so happens that I still love Sarah Palin. (See my famous post.) I want her to be there. And what's more than that, I want that misogynist maniac Donald Whatever to apologize publicly for any slight that he may be responsible for. We don't need a turdiehead like him in charge of anything to do with politics in the U.S.A.

Tim Tebow Dumps Trump’s Convention And Bails On Speaking In Cleveland

Things are so bad for Donald Trump that even Tim Tebow is bailing on his doomed convention in Cleveland.

Donald Trump and Kids Named in $250M Tax Scam

The lawsuit, unsealed Thursday, describes the scheme as simple, telling the judge ‘there need be no fear of complexity, for there is none.’
Four Donald Trump-licensed real-estate developments are at the center of a huge income tax evasion scheme, according to allegations in a lawsuit unsealed Thursday afternoon by a judge in Manhattan.

The presumptive Republican nominee is not personally accused. He is described as a “material witness” in the evasion of taxes on as much as $250 million in income. According to the court papers, that includes $100 million in profits and $65 million in real-estate transfer taxes from a Manhattan high rise project bearing his familiar name.

However, his status may change, according to the lawyers who filed the lawsuit, Richard Lerner and Frederick M. Oberlander, citing Trump’s testimony about Felix Sater, a convicted stock swindler at the center of the alleged scheme.

And this from Politicususa:

"Donald Trump calls himself a winner, but nobody wants to speak at his convention. It wasn’t a surprise that Tebow bailed on Trump. He has a job at ESPN, and being associated with the toxic pit of division that is Donald Trump would certainly not be good for the squeaky clean right-wing evangelical image that Tebow has spent years building.

It turns out that Tim Tebow is just like much of the Republican Party. He is supporting Trump, but refusing to speak for him at the convention. Trump wanted sports superstars at his convention, but it turns out that he couldn’t even get washed up Tim Tebow."

Another person backs out of TrumPence dumpster fire:

From Politico:

"Ivanka Trump's Rabbi Withdraws From Speaking At Republican Convention

Yes, another “important” RNC convention speaker, Ivanka Trump’s Rabbi will be a no show after Tim Tebow also nixed Trump’s invitation yesterday…

Donald Trump is toxic and the Republican convention is now just a joke.

In an email to his congregation obtained by POLITICO, Rabbi Haskel Lookstein of the Orthodox Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun on the Upper East Side, said that he accepted an invitation from Trump’s daughter to deliver the convocation in Cleveland “out of respect for her and our relationship.”

But he decided to bow out and explained his reason to the congregation.

“Unfortunately, when my name appeared on a list of speakers at the convention, without the context of the invocation I had been invited to present, the whole matter turned from rabbinic to political, something which was never intended,” wrote Lookstein, who also served as the principal of the prominent Orthodox Jewish school Ramaz.

Earlier on Friday, the Jerusalem Post reported that 600 Ramaz alumni had written Lookstein a letter, condemning his decision to speak at the convention. “This is the single action history will remember you by, and history will not be kind,” it read.

A Trump campaign spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment."
