"Triumph of the Donald"

Welp. That was bleak. And funereal, filled with lies, and starkly frightening.

When you hear a politician speak these words:

"I am your voice,..I alone can fix it...I will restore law and order."

You are hearing the echoes of decades past when small men with mustaches and men who spoke from balconies gave stiff-arm salutes and promised the very same things.

Trump delivered a dark, foreboding, negative, mendacious speech to the GOP convention, to America, and to the world.

Unlike Ronald Reagan, whose optimism gave the American people it's "Morning in America," the billionaire business man delivered it's "Doomsday in America Because America is Crap" harangue.

Fact checkers have already found dozens of lies in Trump's depressing apocalyptic vision that has little to no relation to reality.  The USA is not the highest taxed country in the world, crime is not increasing, and cities are not rioting and burning all over America, etc., etc.

Trump spewed out a hideous diatribe that appealed to people who are immune to critical thinking and who have shown they want revenge and the scaffold to solve America's problems instead of thoughtful reasoning and cooperation.  Trump's acceptance speech was another insight into the unstable mind and temperament of someone totally unfit for the serious job of the presidency.

The GOP has chosen a man who deals in lies that suit the moment he's in, a man who knows next to nothing about the U.S. Constitution, and a man who is intellectually lazy and not interested in learning about the things that a president should know.

May history never forgive the GOP for this monumental disaster they've forced on America.

Here are some of Trump's proposals for making America great again:

"Crime and violence would “very soon, and I mean very soon, come to an end.” The trade deficit? “We’re going to fix that.” The Islamic State? “We are going to defeat them.”

So there you are, America. Trump told you he's the ONLY ONE who can fix things, and that's how he'll do it. It's right there in quotes.

At least he has a plan unlike the DemocRATS.

Indeed he does. A plan with no road map or direction, other than to "Make America Great, Safe, and First Again". Guess he can.t be bothered with the details of execution. We simply should trust him because, well, he "honest" and speaks for you.

Drumpf, America's great new and greatest SCHMUCK.

The usual hate blogs are very quiet today...no one's praising Trumps big victory speech from last night. No one's saying anything positive about the jerk. Did the convention and the jerks speech wake them the hell up?

They're probably just still hungover from the incredible high they felt from Trump tickling their dark side.

Did the convention and the jerks speech wake them the hell up?

Doubtful. It was more likely an adrenaline rush on steroids for them.

Given the poor ratings for his speech, it's looking like people are finally getting tired of his crapoganda. Hoe many times could someone convince themselves that he's 'presidential' when his does nothing but string together lies and threaten the security of the entire planet with his reckless lack of knowledge (and concern) for foreign policy. I think we'll start to see a sustained dropping of the cheeto Trumpster fire's poll numbers from here on.
